Greetings, My name is Brian Lucey. I found your channel while doing research on this Beerdy individual who as we know is not exactly a straight shooter. I enjoyed your interview with Lee collector Charles Damiano. Hearing names of people i use to know from Richard Torres to Heather Holmberg ( Who flew out to my house here in Las Vegas to help organize my Lee auction back in 1995 ). I never really sat down and spoke about my collection and all my adventures with the Lee family and Bruce's students. It all started in 1972. Later working with Norman Borine and Randy Wong among others. Wish we could just sit and rap about the old days. I posted here because you reminded me of the time Alex called me up and invited me to his house to purchase original items he used as inspiration for his book. Amazing things. Either way, keep up the good job. Your site is top notch👍

I like your attention to details. You mentioned La Cienega Blvd., which is on the East tip and south of Beverly Hills. Your usual conversations about Hong Kong seem to indicate better than pedestrian knowledge of the area and the people. This supports the idea that your are not just blowing your own horn about being knowledgeable but showing that you have studied knowledge of your topics. Does anyone know what kind of wrist watch Bruce Lee wore once he bacame successful in HK? I just wonder because I know Steve McQueen wore a Rolex Submariner for many years, and Bruce seemed to take on some of the same hobbies / style that Steve did.
Hearing Bruce ACTUALLY saying what is public information is a treat! What I find is him jokingly saying , "I'm a Sagittarius ♐ " 😆!! In The Chinese Zodiac, he had to be aware of The Dragon 🐉 sign ,the year he's born in. The Little Dragon 🐉 was 1 of his nicknames
Hi Sifu Alex. Here is a potential AMA question (if you have not previously dealt with this topic)… What would a WT centered strategy be for dealing with multiple opponents? Yes, realistically, multiple opponent situations are very very difficult to defend against. But rather than just saying that it is impossible, are there any specific strategies / choices of techniques that one can consider to maximize the chances of getting away?
Im sure it was Hollywood hair dresser Jay Sebring ( murdered by the Manson clan ) who saw the 1964 long beach tournament and recommend Bruce to Dozier.
Hey Sifu, why not an episode/interview with Sifu Randy Williams ? would be interesting to learn about the difference between your styles of Wing Chun and some old stories he would maybe talk about ! thanks

Hey guys, great épisode AGAIN ! I have a question : Considering Lee's martial background,i think most of his movies fight scenes are very very far from JKD and WING CHUN. Don't get me wrong i am a huge fan of Lee's work but i was always surprised he didn't put too much WC & JKD's moves in his fights on screen. Ok i can see here and there a few moves in Way of the dragon and G.O.D but it's very little.I understand JKD & WC are not the nicest styles on screen. Sometimes it's looking like a blend of Karaté,TKD and Boxing, maybe the realistic approach lead to this clean, sharp moves. He wanted it certainly different from the tradionnal kung fu fights using fancy techniques . Since you are a Wing Tsun Sifu can you see some Wing Chun material in his movies ? Thanks and keep doing this great podcast 😉
Hi Sifu Alex, I have a question for your next AskMeAnything episode: Could you please explain what drew you to study Wing Tsun under the Leung Ting lineage (above all other lineages) and why ultimately you broke away. In previous episodes of Kung Fu Genius and Dudes of Kung Fu, I have heard bits and pieces but never got a full understanding of how and why --- unless there is an episode explaining all of that which I somehow missed. Many Thanks.
Sorry, geeky drug letter question: You suggest Bruce was given a battered 2nd hand Merc by GH but his letter of 21 Feb 72 seems to indicate he had a brand new one on order. Does this mean a) The KFG is wrong (surely not?!); b) Bruce was misled by Chow (surprise); c) the letter is fake (unlikely) or d) I am a nerd who thinks to much about these things (probably). Looking at the Merc in the photos from the GH parking lot, it was certainly battered, but was that down to its age or Bruce’s driving ability? Great episode, by the way!
Sifu Alex? Bruce's death wasn't as "mildly inform "as some would assume.
