Thanks for your comment. For Heyner wiper blades you need to use "Side Lock" adapters.

This one didn't help me unfortunately, because I got motor trend wiperblades and they wouldn't fit correctly. The adapters on them were too big.

In the end, I found I needed to kind force finesse the motor trend wiper over the metal part of the BMW blade holder to make it go in.

try using a cloth so you don't scratch your paint or windscreen!!
