    Hey Jimbo,
    I had 2 of the last gen SLX MGL 70 and loved them. Now that I have the new gen, they are even better. I have many models much much pricier in my arsenal but this new gen SLX 70 is still one of my favorites to fish with. I've been telling everyone about this reel since the first gen and I thank you for bringing some much needed attention to all of its incredible abilities... tight lines, bro!!!

      pretty much. Played with so many brands in the past. As mentioned, the KastKing Speed Demon Elite tried a similar approach and I felt like it took forever to get it dialed in.

    I have the slx mgl and I use 15lb braid to 12lb leader could go lighter on the leader. Just too much grass where I fish. Works great for anything 1/8oz up and throwing weightless flukes or wacky riggs, granted you need to dial it in and have a bit of thumb control. Not quite bfs but for bass it's a great reel. And yes I do use bfs by the way (ark gravity bfs and love that one too).

    Definitely a nice real but for anywhere between 105-125 I’m getting a tatula tw 100 or for 160 on sale I’m getting a tatula tw 103. Daiwa has the best breaking system in the business. I found you a subscribed after hearing you on aa anglers. I decided to try some BSF with equipment I had on hand. I loaded an old 1000 reel with 12 pound braid. I grab the smallest lure I have. The ones that I never use. First time out. 7 nice bass. Now I am hooked. My catch rate is way up. I went a 2 time with great results. The third time I went I tried a fast 6:2:1 kastking. The small baits can’t take the speed. I have a question. Specifically for spinning reels. I noticed the super small crank baits need to go slow. The old spinning reel that I was using is 4:1:1. The new kastking spinning reel I have are all faster. What is a good slow spinning reel. It looks like the trend is all faster reels. I want something quality with a slower speed.

    • @rawrfishing
      @rawrfishing  13 днів тому

      Thx for checking out my channel! Unfortunately, I don't know anything about spinning setups. As AA anglers have indicated I'm all about bait casting setups and BFS fishing! Ark will be coming out with a slower bfs reel this fall and bait finesse empire currently carry the Tsurinoya elf reel which is a slow bfs reel! Hope that helps if you want to get into the world of bfs fishing!
