My seeds were flat and round like a penny. Germinated them in water for 3 days emptied water out sealed it back up. Then sprouts formed in a week. Under soil they sprouted in 2 to 4 weeks. Keep the soil hydrated.

A wisteria grown from seed can take 10-15 years to bloom. That would be quite a long timelapse.

Mine looks so different now I am scared I somehow planted the wrong seed haha

Might look different if you have a different type of Wisteria to what is shown in the video.
Plus no two plants grow the same, even from the same tree/seed pod

you most likely have chinese or japanese wisteria. they are very common. i think this on in the vid is a north american wisteria

North American Wisteria has a hard shell that needs to be removed first before it germinates. The other varieties don't need to be messed with - and just need to soak in water for 1-3 days before germination. If your Wisteria seeds look more circular/disk shaped, you likely have Japanese or Chinese Wisteria.

The one in the video is very leggy I feel like, I think the leaves are generally denser then that

@@courtneykayser1213 no need to remove the whole shell, just knick it with a knife so water can get through. I've had great success with this method

Gardening Know How blog says ~6 hours of sunlight per day. The leaves can get sunburnt from too much sun. How is your plant growing btw? Any progress?
