Hey, farming morsels. You can get a LOT of morsels from the little birds in the desert. You put some meat on the ground, and when they land near it, you hit them. They will aggro onto you and you can get drumsticks and morsels!
I know a way to get bunnies fast in last update that added a new boss /trader the rabbit king there is a few ways to get him number 1 by catching bunnies (if you want to keep him not hostile don’t kill the bunnies or attack him of else he will attack you) 2 feed a rabbit hole 7-18 carrots a thing you can craft for him is rabbit nest you can pick up rabbits with out them running away during the 24 hour stream I’ll show you the boss fight
Important note: ripe stone fruit is a full value veggie in the crockpot, not a half veggie I consistently use it with a leafy meat to create beefy greens that require 3 full veggie value to make
Easy morsel farm: make a square of fences. Drop a rock in the center. Close the gate. Hit a moleworm once with a hammer, pick it up, dig up its den. Drop it near the fence square. It will make a new den, then try to get to the rocks, but won't be able to. Add more moleworms for more morsels every time they respawn. Play whack-a-mole for a regular morsel supply.
Walter with golden slingshot pellets is a really good way to get a lot of morsels quick and cheap. Although it being character specific kinda sucks, it makes up to me for working year-round
To quickly farm morsels: If you are using Wickerbottom or have a wickerbottom player in the server, she can use the book "birds of the world" to summon at least 20/30 birds and immeadiately use the book "sleepy time stories" or the panflute to put them to sleep, kill them, and boom: a ton of morsels (with this method is probably that krampus will come to hunt you, be aware)
chilli con carne is my all time favorite food edit: you should have used ground beef instead of chicken, it would look eaven better and store bought tomato sauce (spicy) and i add bit of chilli
For the morsel you can use fish, as it also has a 0.5 meat value. Yeah, you have to fish, but it is way more straightforward than traps in my opinion. Alternatively you can also get morsels from moleworms, or use batilisk wings, naked nostrills, drumsticks, or just another piece of meat if you can't be bothered to go out of your way just to make a meal more "efficiently". A recipe is efficient depending on how much nutrion you get from it, but also on how easy the ingredients are to obtain, so it really depends on what's on your fridge at the moment.
stone fruit counts as one full unit of veggie but kelp is only half value so id recommend that instead in dst! the biggest reason why noone makes chili ingame is bc u can convert one of the meats into an egg and boom you have pierogi, which is just superior with healing and gives the same hunger
The best way to farm small meat Was the rabbit hutch glitch killing a rabbit while I was entering a trap, but I’m not certain if that was patched or not
One time I was cooking and then I seen wormwood coming to my base with moonshrooms saying he was the boiled one for Half an hour as he slept me with it
Surprised you didn't use tomatoes or tomato sauce since it's usually how you cook a chili. Also, I would have used beef and for the 0.5 meat value, chicken, since all birds in DST only drop morsels or drumsticks, not meat.
3:53 not being one of those people who are mean because you said a word in a differant languge wrong but heres how you say carne The car in carne is pronouced caar and the ne in carne is pronouced like neh
This is, hands-down, the best and most unique DST series on UA-cam right now. Bravo!
Thank you :) glad you enjoy it!

Little birds= human-sized vultures
@ XD alr, i just forgor how they are called pwq
Willow just has to hit them with the lighter to disable vultures completely. It's really cathartic being able to demolish them.

How to farm morsel: You don't. It's almost never worth it.
I tend to base in a savannah biome which has a LOT of rabbit holes. Great way to farm morsels en masse.
