yep picks and a dremel brass brush cleans gears up quick. soldering iron or flame to heat the screws , wrenching rc more than running usually lol , been looking at the redcat , maybe

Maintenance is a big part of having rc's!! The harder you run them the sooner you will have to check things over. And sand is so abrasive I would think you would want to be cleaning things out on a regular basis. 😂😂 👍🤙💯

@@rcguygarage I usually try to blow them out with an air compressor if it's dry and dusty where I run. But if it's wet and muddy I rinse them with the garden hose and throw them in the tub to dry. 🤣🤣🤙👍💯
I just watched some of the “frankenarlo “ vids and have that car stock 3s brushless version . It’s a good one . Can’t hardly run 3s like yours , stays cool on 2s , plenty fast like yours was mid 40 s on 2s . It doesn’t like bashing though . The steering links , the esc just shuts down on harder landings . Other than that it’s a ripper . Good vids

MRGA make rc great again lol I'm ordering the redcat Mt version the valkerie looks cool too though 😎 anyways I ordered a heavy duty waterproof 40kg steering servo a 5200 4s 100c battery and I have a set of 170mm tires for it there huge I'm looking foward to putting it all together!
@@marlin5898 The problem with this one is the same with the WOV except this one allows more debris to enter because of its design where the WOV covers over more of the area. The hole will help because this realistically the ridiculous amount of sealing that you would have to do
My brother said for me to use those gasket squares that you can cut into whatever shape you need (automotive)and make gaskets for the diffs… you think that would work?
I still like the rc i think if i had one id do the same drill a hole under the center diff like u did and maby try making a tpu gasket to go around the outside of that modual were all the dirt was maby or some type of rubber like filiment but ya think if i was driving threw dirt probably open it up and clean it out every so often like u said.....

I don't own either truck, and now the police came to my door. So definitely don't watch this if you don't have the vehicles, because it's apparently a crime in some states. Damn you, California, it was 107 degrees yesterday and now I'm in jail for watching a video ! Anyone know a good lawyer ?
@@rcguygaragehey, at least you were thorough with your maintenance. You caught the possible issues early enough to prevent damage. It coulda been much worse. The air compressor was a good call. I used to use mine on my RCs every time I went out, but I've been lazy lately.
@rcguygarage nevermind I see yours has it now also. Sure glad I've only ran mine on the road it looks brand new compared to yours but I also only have 4 packs through and my back tires stopped moving properly.
Snapped another k6s wing mount screw 😏. The 3d RC flexible wing mount is good though imo . I like it . I m adding m4 s and a lock nut . Has anyone had this issue of wing mount screws snapping inside the tower ?
Happens to me often, i drilled the shock tower holes one size bigger and basically self threaded the bigger bolts into the diff housing behind it and havnt had an issue since.
@@cnc813 You know what though if this was to be a first RC for someone. I am realizing that this is an excellent RC to have because of just that. It has a lot of screws that you got to take out and organize and figure out how to put things back together when you're done

Yeah I don't know guy. I don't really care about the sub count most of it's inflated anyway. When you see what views are versus sub count, it should give you a good indicator of who actually watches your videos or at least the number. So you could have a million subscribers but if only 10K are watching you know what I'm saying.

As long as your center diff doesn't bleed like a sieve, it works good at ejecting. Some of the debris not all of it, but it's better than it was
