Yeah, after seeing it and knowing the price point... I figured the discussion needed to be had, from a value stand point at least!!! Thanks for watching and I will be around if you need me!
I have a v2 4s Kraton and v2.5 4s Outcast. I ordered the Redcat today as soon as they showed it on the live stream. It was before the price was even announced. I was shocked at checkout when my total was $299. I don't expect to like it more than my Arrma trucks but I think it'll be good. I love my Vigilante and ordered this just because it looked like the Vigilante. I still like my 8s Arrma rigs more than my Vigilante but it definitely bumped my Xmaxx down the list. Redcat is killing it lately and I'll keep buying just to support them and encourage them to keep it up. I want a 5th scale electric Typhon or 5b type buggy and have more hope of Redcat building it than anyone else.
I use to buy the more expensive stuff but found that the Socokin and Hoovo batteries (Can be found on Amazon) are cheaper in 2 packs with some higher mah and c ratings for less money and have held up just as good or longer as some of my other ones... like graphenes or name brands in general. Charger, I would get the X2 hexfly on sale right now from redcat, can charge 2 and its a rebranded popular Venom charger. Also I have delas better then redcat right now on the Valkyrie and even the X2. Let me know if you decide on the redcat.
@@NPCRC Oh mein, just seeing the part where you have deals on the Valkyrie. I actually just pulled the trigger on the Redcat. Did not get any charger or battery as yet though.
This Valkyrie seems to be the absolute best value in name brand RC right now. 4S power, full metal gears, center diff, and seems to be very tough from what Ive seen so far. I think it SPANKS the Arrma 3S BLX stuff and Traxxas 3S VXL stuff. Especially at the crazy $300 price tag. Might actually be on par with the Arrma 4S stuff, which is very difficult for me to say because the Arrma 4S trucks are by far my favorite RCs. I never thought I'd see the day I'd say.. "I am BUYING THAT REDCAT".
Spray the interior of the Valkerie with industrial grade rubber, coat it with shredded resin/fiberglas, let it dry, add another layer of rubberized spray, and that body will be ready to go.
The Valkyrie does 58. The 4S Arrmas do 55. That's pretty close lol, especially for the size upgrade. But the 3S Arrmas do 49. So you're not wrong on that one. But either way, the Valkyrie I think is the best option of the 3. We'll see how they hold up! I'm definitely getting one
What are chances on hub and or wheel options? What's it gonna take to put the 4s Arrma backflips on it? How about making it wider to match the Arrma? Those c hubs just look odd sticking out inside the wheel so far before attaching to the arm. That narrow footprint does lessen leverage but also lessens effective wheel travel. Longer arms equal more wheel travel for the same length arm. Are there any aluminum shock options that'll fit yet? I don't even know when to expect delivery but I'm ready to start the upgrades already. Hopefully Vitavon will support it with aftermarket upgrades since they have been leading the charge with the Vigilante.
So the 2.8 PL Series will fit. We put some Badlands and Destroyers on it today. Backflips are a little taller then those and LOOK like they will go right on. Just concerned with the Height. May make a video showing some of the tire options on it!
as far as aluminum shock options, I am sure there is somethin already on the market. Most likely any that would fit the 4S outcast, SHOULD fit the Valkyrie
The redcat is incredible fast and fun and incredibly durable
New subscriber. Excellent video. ty! Happy trails!
Redcat for the win!
The 4s outcast has a smaller motor..The redcat is a 3670 or 3674 no?
The Redcat has 6th scale size diffs
Great video bud. First video that actually compare it next to other rcs on the market. Going to call/message you tomorrow about ordering one for sure.

It SHOULD fit nicely into your collection! It for sure, is a great price point!
Great comparison. Thinking about getting the Granite or Redcat. What brand of 4s Batteries and Lipo charger do you recommend?

@@lilproto9876 get SMC battery and HOTA T6 charger
Only thing I dont like about the Valkyrie is too many screws to change gears kinda difficult
Definitely nice to see Monochromatic bodies
I feel that Arrma is going to expand the 4s line. Hoping they choose the Bigrock next -4s with upgraded DT and a center diff.
Waiting for that❤

The Valkarie does 60 out the box pure stock no mods the others don't come close😊

Dude relax..It will be just fine 😅
I put the wide kit and 17mm hubs on a granite to run the 4s backflip tires . It’s awesome 👏
