- We're beginning our "Bang For Buck" series here in episode #15.
Cheap drums that sound great. Yes, I have featured the Pearl Sensitone a number of times already. But I had to share about the older steel model, because it is so often a "steal" to find these used on line. So there you have it! Note: This snare isn't the exact sensitone that I got years ago for Dead Poetic. FYI
These steel Pearl Sensitones , are the best value buys on the market.
Wow! I didn't know you were the dead poetic drummer! Still love the new medicines album. Cheers from Brazil!
as soon as you said bang for buck, this is the drum I thought of. a few years back a bought a Pearl Sensitione Elite 14x6.5 steel snare from an amazon vendor. it was $129.99 shipped to my door. it sounds Great! comes out of the box with real Remo Ambassadors. I highly recommend this drum to anyone.
Replacing stock heads with Remos, make a big difference.
I just scored one of these on eBay for cheap in what looks to be beautiful condition. Looking forward to getting it
That pic of the CB 🤣🤣🤣
I have the 13x5.5 "Power Piccolo" Custom Alloy Sensitone snare... I've only ever seen a few for sale since and it is amazing ! I got close to selling it recently but played it again an knew I had to keep it.
which drum heads do u use here ?
dude you rock . love the video's
Found one on Craigslist for $40 i might grab it
GREAT VID! Have same snare...Pearl just know how to make a great sounding drum at a great price! Another great snare(in my opinion)that won't break the bank, is the Ludwig Epic...Mine is 14 x 6.5...I believe it's 20ply...and it really packs a wallop! and it was only a little over $200! Thanks for sharing and Happy Drumming!!!:) ps. I too think the Sensitone has that classic Supraphonic(spelling?)look...Being a John Bonham fan, I dig that:)
Ludwig is like Harley D......living off old history....
cool, i never knew you were in dead poetic!
Great sounds, man.Seems like a Remo CS the works better with this drum
Fond one for $20 lol. Im gonna sell a percussion plus then buy this snare
You mean you don't have a SONOR HLD in 7 colors, metals, woods,,etc,,,lol haha
Man your funny XD
