Those little blocks are removable, I took them off and run a cat 1R-0751 you also have to trim the mounting bracket to run the cat but it's by far a better filter than any other options. Also the napa filters are just rebranded wix.
Do not use the Baldwin filter. It is not the correct micron rating and defeats the purpose of fine filtration! It is rated for 10 microns, vs the 100-2 is rated for 2 microns. If you look up the specs for your injectors, you do not want anything above 4 microns getting in your injectors.

From what I've read, 10 microns is what the factory filter is rated at.
