Their view count on this is criminally low. These guys are something special!!
Agree!!!
Anybody any ideas WHY?? Because me thinks its GREAT!!
Watching this just takes me back to the '80s and Miami Vice.
The VoicePlay fans dont care how many times you have to go back. We love experiencing the shock and amazement with you 😊
Thousands of us played the air drums for that iconic fill. So SO awesome!
Love your enjoyment of reaction to the music.
This was given an 80s feel with the video redorder vibes, and a hint of Miami Vice. Another stunner.
They did so well on this one, and laynes drum solo was everything i wanted it to be 😂 💜
They take us on a journey. I love your reactions and always watch them as soon as I see them Thank you. If you haven’t seen it, you’ll enjoy “what to do with a drunken Sailor”. I also enjoy their mini ones videos they do. There’s a lot of sass.
Dude! As if watching Voiceplay isn't fun enough, you double the fun! Thank you!!
Wow - first time I heard these guys. Fabulous, they’re all extremely talented. Luv it ……
I always enjoy your reactions. Keep them coming.
Hi Mr. Arab Man. Thank you for another priceless reaction to Voice Play. I always love to see your facial expressions & your excitement to Voice Play. Please please please do a reaction video of Geoff's new solo cover of Folsom Prison Blues, by Johnny Cash. Geoff's voice is deeper than Johnny's & I think he did it better than Johnny. Geoff rented out the prison to make this video. There is a little surprise in this video. His wife was the entire crew.
I have been waiting and waiting for this reaction! Voiceplay and Geoff are so talented, so amazing and your appreciation of them warms my heart. I love watching your face as you watch them.
I know you have subscribers who are not fixated on them as I am and that you will continue to discover new artists. It's okay. Just please, please, please keep coming back to Voiceplay and Geoff. I will always be here!

I always love your reactions. You kinda participate BODILY in it, it's not just your facial expressions or your voice, but your eyes and body language as well, it's a pleasure to see. 🙂
Salam Aleikum, and see you next time!
They didn’t have an easy time on this shoot. They were outside Pattycake Productions in an incredible heat wave. There was a smelly dumpster nearby, with the associated bugs. Layne had to run extension cords out from Pattycake to run the lights, smoke, etc.
The car is Layne’s father’s car, bought new and in use ever since. But the battery kept giving him problems keeping the car lights on for hours. They went quite late into the night, and the lights grew a crowd of onlookers. (Usually they only have patrons watching for an hour or so. ). Cesar did a lot to entertain the crowd (he’s always on!) and they came away with another great video!
Loved your enthusiasm! This is one video where very few reactors can sit still when the Big Drum Moment happens! Geoff would be very pleased to hear your comparison of his phrasing to 90s grunge--the vocalists he wishes he could sing like are from that era!
How did I know you were gonna say “tasty?” Totally agree!! Total change of pace-wait until you see what they do with drunken sailors! 😂
I love their cover! I usually do my morning runs with this song on headphones!
Thanks for another great reaction to VoicePlay!
Thanks!
Thank youuuuu!
Loved the reaction! This is such a great cover, though being a great song sure helps. Love this song!! 🥰 The guys did an OUTSTANDING cover and so glad J was able to join them for this!
Reaction priceless!
Shalom my friend, I have been anticipating your reaction to this song and you did not disappoint Shalom
Great reaction to a great song, thanks!
Always love your reactions to Voiceplay! ❤
Your VoicePlay reactions delight my heart and soul! I always get all excited when I see a new one pop up because I know I’m in for a treat.
Love your reactions so much and would really have liked to hear, what you did NOT tell at the very end... please let go and talk about your thoughts... we are here for it!🎉😂❤
I don't know why but Geoffs part before Layne breaks it down reminded me of she's like the wind by Patrick Swayze.
So fun to watch your anticipation and then satisfaction on this! :Your reactions always pull me in.
Fun time!
Thank you 😊
Great reaction, thanks !!
You always have the best reactions! Thank you.
I love your reactions!
Loved watching you absorbing this incredible video. If I see it on the list, I'm watching it. Layne did the arrangement for this one and his Dad loaned him the 1972 LeMans that he bought new a half century ago. Perfection.
I always love to see your reactions to VoicePlay and Geoff. Thank you for such a joyful excited reaction! It keeps me coming back for another reaction!
Gorgeous - Thank you!!
I’ve never seen anyone get such delight and “tastiness” from music as you do! I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction.
Fantastic reaction!! ❤❤
It's crazy this one still has such a low view count. It's such a banger!!
Loved your reaction, thanks!
LOVE your reaction. The joy and appreciation on your face brightens any day. Understanding music and production you point out all the nuances . I find I appreciate most music that is out there and listen when I stumble upon it but I actually search for Voiceplay to see what they are doing next! Thanks.
Habibati! great reaction as usual, Boudy!
Listen, I wrote that BEFORE I watched the video. That's faith, LOL
HAHAHAHAHAHA
Alaikum Salam, I'm not sure if my voice text heard my greeting correctly but you know what I'm trying to say here is a reactor Anthony Ray who knows Beatboxing and he can break down exactly how Layne is producing the sounds that he does. He also does the same thing with Adam from home free and Kevin from Pentatonix. He's already reacted to in the air tonight and other voiceplay releases since Nothing Else Matters and I learned an awful lot from him.
How do you make a Voiceplay song even more entertaining? Easy - watch Arab Man react to it! ☺
Brilliant as per usual. ⚘
Thanks so much for commenting on this one ... one of my favorites from VoicePlay!
Looks like you're still in love with Geoff, despite liking the Home Free video. Problem solved.😉 Great reaction! Thanks.
Dimash - Ave Maria 🙏🙏🙏
From the original there is a fantastic minimix made by Ben Liebrand, just put it on when you are working in the studio, you will love it.
Superb reaction and superb VoicePlay cover.
❤❤❤
Love it💛 always so much fun watching you react to VP 💛 just makes me happy
You know what happened when you "found" Soh Yang! Do you want another surprise? Check out Gigi de Lana. Suggest you start with storytelling and "Better Days". Then "Through the Fire/Piano in The Dark" and then "Unholy". She and her group are outstanding and these recordings were LIVE, she READS to check the lyrics as English is not her first language and the songs are REQUESTED on her live stream, so little rehearsal. AMAZING TALENT.
Love your reactions to these guys. You are going to love both Geoffs and VPs new releases. The VO one will have you rolling and Geoffs will make you hungry again haha.
You need to sing more for us. you sound GREAT!
👍🎶
Geoff Castellucci will be releasing his new Halloween video this Saturday, the 7th. He will be a Disney movie villain.
Voiceplay will probably release theirs next week. Also a Disney movie villain song.
The firt time I watched this video on voiceplay channel I YELLED like an idiot "YAAAAAS LAYNE OH MY GOD!" (4:25)😂😂😂 I was at work 😂😂😂😂
I love your reactions to VoicePlay and Geoff Castelluci's solo work....haven't seen a reaction from you in a bit. You should definitely hit up their newest cover "Hellfire" (from Hunchback of Notre Dame)...so freakin' amazing! Geoff also came out with his cover of "Jack's Lament" (from Nightmare before Christmas)...both quite appropriate for October and spooky season. Would love to see you react both! Keep on making great videos and we'll keep watching 😊
Hey just wanted to let you know that I rejoined your patreon and left some messages and my first request to a new singer for your channel. That song belong to Phil Collins of Genesis
Hey there Arab Man! I've heard you say VoicePlay during your reaction to Homefree earlier. Now that I've heard them and I guess I need to here more to appreciate them the way you do! They are an excellent group but I think Homefree then Pentatonix and then VoicePlay! I will let you know after I see another reaction from you! Sorry it's just my opinion! Take care and always enjoy the music my friend! I've been subscribed to your channel just before you started with one of my favorite bands, Nightwish!!! Cya
I think that a lot of what makes our favorite a cappella groups might be the song selection. At least it is true for me.
Of the three groups, my favorite is VoicePlay. Part of it is because of their creativity and the theatricality of some of the pieces really appeals to me. They always manage to surprise me even when they’re doing a song that I think I know well. In addition, they cover such a wide variety of genres from Disney to rock to metal.
If I enjoyed country, it would be very close between them and Home Free. But I do not like most (modern) country so they remain in spot number two. Happily they also cross genres and a lot of their stuff finds its way onto my playlists, even a few of the country tunes, especially the old classics. Ironically one of my favorites is Tim’s Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. They look like they thoroughly love what they are doing. And it doesn’t hurt that they are all insanely talented. Nessun Dorma blew me away.
For me number three is taken by The Bass Gang. Again I think it’s the creativity of their arrangements in addition to their crazy talent. If you’ve not checked them out, I recommend it. It is four bass singers who have yet to meet. Two live in different parts of the US, one lives in Egypt and one in the Czech Republic. Nevertheless they managed to put out simple but effective videos and they are incredibly talented. They each take turns arranging and directing the whole thing. They frequently collaborate with a lot of well-known bass singers including Tim Foust, Jonathan Young and Earl Holloway.
I am not a huge fan of modern pop. So PTX comes in last although that still puts them toward the top of my musical collection. They are insanely talented it’s just that I am not a big fan of a lot of the songs they cover.
(Christmas pieces from all three groups are have a dedicated playlist.)
p.s. Home Free and VoicePlay were both on the same season of the Sing Off. Tim and Geoff became good friends. Had VoicePlay not been eliminated, the piece they were supposed to perform was Survivor. They decided to do it anyway.
It is not Voiceplay’s finest performance in my opinion. I do not care for the inclusion of female singer that the network demanded that they add. She’s got a great voice on her own but she does not blend well with the guys and she dominated them so they basically became her back up group. That being said, it’s highly entertaining and you might really enjoy it. You can find it on VoicePlay’s channel under Survivor : Zombies versus Hillbillies. And yes it is as silly as it sounds.
Vp then bass gang then home free for me. Ptx is not my thing.
@@laundrygoddess4 I used to like them (PTX) quite a bit more. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like they’ve become so polished, that they’re almost slick. From those who have musical training, I understand that their technical aspects are spot on. But I just don’t feel any passion from them. And for me, music just like any art, should have passion in it.
As I said, I am not a country fan, but it is so clear that Home Free loves what they do. So I always give them a listen just in case it’s a non-country tune. So for now Home Free is my second but The Bass Gang is putting together the third album and they have come so far so fast, so…🤷🏼♀️. But VoicePlay will always be #1.
Voiceplay is #1 for me, then Home Free then PTX. VP is just top notch with arrangements and creativity along with great voices…Home Free has great voices …. PTX is just too “perfect” for me. I know that might sound odd but I loved them until I discovered VoicePlay then they became so boring. 🤷🏻♀️ Edit: I need to correct myself. For me it’s VoicePlay, then Voctave, then Home Free, then PTX.
@@janetdw I'm totally with you on this. Technically, ptx are great singers but they are so busy working hard to look good that they don't make me feel anything about the song. It's boring to be honest. Home free can be fun but I'm not a country fan but I'll listen. I really like the evolution of the Bass Gang but they will never take over VP as my favorite.
Please react to more Voiceplay! If I may suggest “Carry on my Wayward Son,” it’s one of my favorites!
Please you HAVE to react to Aurora’s Through The Eyes Of A Child-the live stripped version. The harmonies are absolutely incredible in that song. If you liked the harmonies in this song, you’ll be blown away by Through The Eyes Of A Child.

Leave it to Voice Play to take a boring & repetitious song & put their own spin on it & made it better than the original. All this while staying true to the original. Please do a reaction video of Voice Plays Queen In 5 Minutes. It's a medley of Queen songs . Very theatrical..You will love it.
Loved your reaction- thanks!
Thanks!
