Seriously, this man is a genius. Sat in a field and wrote possibly one of the greatest songs ever.
I live in Swindon and like most locals we have all enjoyed Lydiard Park on various occasions, my daughter when she was little would often mis- hear lyrics and used to sing “ chasing the cows away “ and in a way kind of fits and still makes sense, if you know that area.
I’ve told my daughter that when my time comes, I would like my Funeral service to take place on a Tuesday Afternoon and that Tuesday Afternoon is to be played during the reflection segment of the service !
I feel very priviledged to having been to Moody Blues and Blue Jays concerts and Justin is such an underated guitarist \m/

This amazing song was my introduction to The Moody Blues in about 1972 or so. It is perfect joy in a sweet song.
The amount of people that do not love this song, must be close to zero. And most likely they are just jealous. This is no doubt a masterwork and piece.
Justin, I don't know how many more songs from your "Night's Tour" you have for this video series, but I do hope you carry on with this series beyond the songs from this tour and continue to regularly put up other songs either solo work or from the Moodies and can offer your perspective on them. I've really enjoyed this series and look forward to it each week! Please keep them coming! Thank-You! Perhaps invite John, Grahame and Mike and do a "Zoom" style meeting/discussion/jam? It would be awesome!!!

"Days of Future Passed" is a historical masterpiece. Originally, I didn't know, back in the day, that this song and "Nights in White Satin" were in the same album. I was too young to pay attention, I just loved them both. In 1972 I bought a 2nd hand copy of the LP and that's how I found out. As usual, I find myself short of words to praise the work of this wonderful band of geniuses.

Justin this song means a lot to me I was walking my dog in a place we call the seven fields it was Tuesday afternoon no one around we were walking under the trees the wind was blowing the tree and their leaves I forgot to say I had my MP4 playing aways in my ears and Tuesday Afternoon came I was listening to this great song the sun was shinning I looked up at the trees blowing away I looked down at my baby and said to Lucy this is just perfect and it was it's a great song I like many in Swindon are so proud of you Justin Love to you and your family stay safe and well in these dark days we are all going Love Nige x
Saw Justin in 2005 when he did a charity performance in a small club in Swindon. Pure magic!! Went to Lydiard Park later that day 💖

Justin , You are the Best!!! We saw you at the Seaglass in Salisbury Ma a few years ago. Seen you and the Moody Blues thru the years! The 1st time we saw you was in around 1985 ( give or take a few years) in Manchester NH. Elm st at Veteran's Park. It started raining , then pouring ! The audience , we were beyond soaking wet. After your band played for about 1hr and 25 minutes,,, you said " you all out in the audience are true fans! We'll play for another set"). You made Great memories that night!!!! Love Ya Man!!!!!!

this is my favorite moody blues song. always has been. i go to a park in the area where i live named lake chabot. i have always loved to be in the woods amongst the trees and nature in general. tuesday afternoons lyrics really kind of describe my life. This is the song that brought me to the Moody Blues, I was 12 years old when I first heard Tuesday Afternoon on the radio and fell in love with it and of course with Justin, too. My first Moody Blues concert was in 1970 at age 14 and I have followed them since. And I enjoy Justin’s solo concerts too!

I was introduced to MB music when I heard Nights In White Satin...when I was a teen. The '70s. I was hooked. I LOVED trying to play the flute parts to this song. I will again. As soon as I can fix my flute. It's about 50 plus yrs old. This music will last forever. Thank you Justin and every artist who worked on the music. I love it all.

I was a very young 17 when Days of Future Past was released. The first time I heard Night In White Satin, I was overwhelmed by its beauty and the emotions it elicited. However, as I became familiar with higher states of consciousness, Tuesday Afternoon became and remains my favorite Moody Blues song, it perfectly conveys experiencing the wonders of life on an average day.
Oh I don't want this to end Justin...perhaps adding more songs, or including John and

I doubt you'll read this, but I just came here to say that I grew up on the Moody Blues. My Dad had all of your albums. We listened to them on cassette tape on road trips and on the house on vinyl when I was growing up. Your music has been such a huge part of my life, and it was a large inspiration to me learning to write in a visual style. Your music has brought me a ton of joy, relief to sorrow, and solid self-reflection over the years.

Several significant milestones in my life happened to have occurred on a Tuesday afternoon. Once I reflected back on them and realized that had Tuesday in common, this song became very special to me and my personal history. Thank you very much Justin.
I must've been unconscious in 1967 at age 13 to not know about Days of... I first heard Nights In... in 1972 only to find out it was re-released & did much better on the charts then. I became a Moodies fan then & have seen them several times since my first in 1981 in St. Paul, Mn. I've been lucky to get autographs over the years & am saddened & angry at the Hall of Fame for not voting them in until a few months after Ray passed on. Bunch of a-holes.
So glad a local station plays the album version of Tuesday. Blessings to all the guys.
