I love that at 17, your cats still love to play 0:37. My Cece is 5, I worried that one day she would stop wanting to play. This made me feel good!
Early morning walks, when most of the world is asleep, are the best
They really are the best!
When you said you put the cat bowls into the dishwasher, my bird said "uh oh, I'm a bird! Oh no!" He made me smile. We have a cat but she doesn't go in the room I have my birds. It always makes me smile when the bird is paying attention to what I'm watching and interacts with it! 💞

I’m a year into daily morning and evening walks . It’s the high light of my day and a great way to destress . How I start my day determines how easy my day ends up being .
I borrowed the idea of air drying my gym clothes outside after my morning workouts and it’s great. Thank you for a great inspiration and lovely video 😊

During my work life my mornings always felt rushed. Now that I'm retired, my morning routine is calm and my favourite time of the day. As you said, it sets me up for the rest of the day! I recently purchased the Muista chair and love it so much 🌼 Wishing you a wonderful week Benita!

As I grew older, I appreciate more on the days I can get up early. I find it hard in the winter and easy in the summer, but having a routine is such a treat, I’d love to go for a walk regardless of the weather! Thank you for sharing and I can’t wait to see your move, so far that door way looks beautiful and inviting!

I share my daily wordle attempts with my friend, daughter and sister. My sister and I upped the challenge by taking turns choosing the starting word and analyzing the thought process we each go through to get to the final word. Surprisingly, we often have several same words. 😊

I’m so excited to share everything!
I had short hair (shoulder length) my entire life excluding this past year when I began to grow-out my hair. I washed my hair every other day prior to growing-out my hair. Now, my hair almost reaches my elbows as I now wash my hair only 2-3 x a week (as recommended by a hair stylist who I discovered online). Thus, I've noticed that my hair is less oily and thicker when only washed 2-3 x a week.
And I'm also retired from the workforce. I'm a full-time homemaker for my household. And yes, I keep productive when cleaning, running errands, grocery shopping, gardening, completing laundry, mopping our hardwood floors, and etc. I think that embracing the homemaker lifestyle definitely allows for life's moments to be pleasantly and comfortably enjoyed. I haven't rushed or stressed since I had been in the workforce. I still experience some stress (life isn't perfect) but the stress is manageable and quickly resolved compared to when I had employment externally from our home.

I used to take a lot of early morning walks during the depths of the pandemic when I was working from home. Now that I teach an 8:45 class every morning, those have had to fall to the wayside. But seeing this video renews my determination to get back to early morning walks on the weekends, especially now that it's colder (which is actually motivating for me!) Hi Benita, i don't know how I missed this video when you first posted it - probably a slow winter morning when i couldn't pulled myself out of bed🤣🤣. you are so right about rising early and getting out for a walk - it clears your mind and truly does set you up for the rest of the day. "if I get up later than that it's like the train left and i feel like I'm catching up all morning" - how true is this! It certainly brought a smile to my face thinking about it😃. Nice video, my hair is like yours, being half Swedish I’m cursed with fine hair that’s flat and static in winter and frizzy curly in the summer. It has calmed down a bit now that I’m retired. Can’t wait to see your new place, love the kitties too.

Good Morning! 😀 We take care of "Nellie" our kitty first thing in the morning and then I make coffee and have breakfast. I am an early riser - usually 7 am, I have been for years, my day is all mixed up if I sleep later than that. I love my morning self care and getting ready for the day.💗💓💗 That is cute "Bonus" walking over your computer and editing videos, answering emails. 😹 So excited for you to be in your new place - enjoy your day!❤

I too have the scourge of fine hair. At least it’s less oily now that I’m post menopausal so it looks fuller. Can’t wait to see your new place after you’ve moved in.

It's always interesting to see how early the sun rises at places like yours and doesn't at other places, like mine.. It rises at 7:50 am, by this time I'm walking to my office. If I wanted to go for a run or a walk like you at 6:00, it'd be pitch dark and too dangerous for a woman living in a big city ...Love to see your cats on your lap ! I just realized that my cat does jump on the desk but never walks on the keyboard (or she's very quiet while doing it) I might hide it now when I leave the computer on at night !
We just switched to winter time on Sunday but it’s going to get very much darker very soon 😅

Another peaceful sojourn in your world - thanks Benita! I tried June's Journey on your suggestion, and quickly became hooked. Fun!!! If you're keen on the 1920s, you might like to read the books by Kerry Greenwood, who writes mysteries set in the late 20s in Australia, centring on an admirable heroine called Phryne Fisher. I love them; you may too. The first in the [21 book long] series is called 'Cocaine Blues' [Allen and Unwin, 1989].
I’ve seen the Fischer murder mysteries as a TV show! I heard the game is based on it but I’m not 100% sure.
@@BenitaLarsson Greenwood's books are much grittier, and have several key plot devices that the TV series lack. Not much connection with June's journey, I think, except they're both sleuths...
waking up at 6 and going out while there is still dark outside -sounds like a torture to me :D Very unnatural for me. Plus I go to sleep around midnight, so I would not have enough sleep. An yes, I live in a country where we have daylight from 7.40 till 16.00 in December. I am very happy to have home office and flexible working hours so I do not have to wake up before there is a light.

I finished Wordle ten minutes before yiur video appeared. It just turned 1:00AM here in Australia (east coast). It's also our third month of Spring... the weather looks much nicer there than here. 🌧🌦
Air drying clothes is so good. The breeze and sun does a great job.

3pm here in the uk! I don’t get up that early but I do need to try and get up earlier than I do. I used to get up at 2.30 am for work at 4am, now my work shifts (2 days) start at 12pm x

@@BenitaLarsson yes it was did 3 shifts for 6 yrs and walked to work at 3am, but luckily I don’t live in town and I’m 15 minutes away from work. Barely saw ppl except staff walking home from 3 am finish. Maybe in a sat I might see some ppl walking home from being out in Margate.

I haven't tried that but I do quite enjoy the caffeine in the morning 😅
My morning routine is the opposite of early, long and thoughtful, but I so enjoy watching you lay out your daily process. I really like the idea of the room spray when making up the bed. I use unscented laundry products (because I can't find a naturally scented powder) but I miss a fresh scent on my sheets. Thanks for the tip.
