Hey Ya'll!
When I am not in the mood to get rid of ALL the bones and ALL the skin that come along in a can of salmon, I use can chicken instead of. It’s just as good, but no bones and skin to pick out. Plus if you don’t make salmon patties because of the odor, welp that’s alleviated as well. It’s a win win!

Me and my wife, we done crab patties Wednesday night instead of chicken or salmon and they turned out phenomenal with your recipe. We did not add hot sauce or onion and they was great.

That was a great recipe and the good thing is you can put in whatever kind of meat you want to put in it and we love crabcakes
Yes! I’m probably gonna try the crab this week. I did try it with tuna, but we didn’t like it was well.

I had heat at low/medium. My burners are HI 8 6 4 2. I bounce between 6 & 4 depending on how fast they are cooking. I tend to like things cooked a little darker and crispier than some, but not burnt. Hope that helps.

I'll have to try using chicken since the wife want let me do salmon patties because she can't stand the smell of them frying,lol! Her mom used to make the all the time when my wife was a child and when she found out that is what they were having for supper those nights, she would tell her mom she was going over to her best friends house to eat!
lol … I’ve heard a lot of people say they don’t cook them be cause of the smell. This is a good solution. I don’t mind the smell, it’s the bones and skin that get me. I’m so picky about certain things. I waste more chicken than most, because I can’t stand the tendon or the little pieces of fat stuff … lol I’m weird 😉

In response to your comment, Tony. I have heard several people say they don’t cook salmon patties due to the smell. It leaves in their home. This is a perfect solution. I don’t mind the smell of salmon patties at all. I’m just the weird one that doesn’t like the bones in the skin. When it comes to chicken, I waste more good chicken meat than most. I have to get rid of that tendon and the little pieces of white fat have to go as well. I can’t help myself. It is what it is. I’m weird lol 😉

We love salmon patties as well. This way is just quicker on a “quick meal” kinda night. They actually taste quite similar 😉
