Hi, thanks for the video...I connected SM58 mic to my rc-500. Even with the mic gain knob all the way up, the mic volume is too low. Is there a solution for this?

Yes you can. It has serial and parallel mode.

That’s a PRS 513. They make a newer version called a 509.
I can't assign to make a rythm fill break. I have fs5 for this *** And also in case of having assign control 1 .. in "control" section also front control 1 what do you choose ?? Can you help?
does anyone have any information for
1. why does the RC500 compress the input volume from my GT1 and decrease the gain
2. know wtf the INST IN NS (noise suppression) does?
3. why tf the gain for the mic input is so low (such a waste of an input)
like its sound wise barely a step up from the RC20XL I was using. I had to put my mic through an EQ pedal just to give it enough volume to hit 0 db.

My RC-500 has a longish (5 seconds or so) delay AFTER I hit STOP. I notice this behavior even more on longer loops. At first I think I missed the button or the looper is broken, but several seconds later, it finally stops. This really throws me off. Especially because the Drums/Rhythm keeps going. To be usable, it needs to STOP immediately.
I have about 10 other memories saved. Is it a buffer/memory issue? Do I need to update firmware? I have done resets in the past. I have it plugged into a 300ma supply. Do I need to upgrade the PSU? Otherwise I really love the Looper. Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix? If my loop is very short, say 5 seconds, it STOPS immediately. Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated.

If anyone could help me. How should I connect RC500 with my Boss GT1 guitar processor and then to the stereo PA mixer? What cables should I use? ( balanced or unbalanced)

Hi, Ireneusz. Typically your looper would be last in the chain so I would go from your guitar to the GT1, and then from the GT1 to the looper. The looper has standard instrument level outputs so you would use ¼” unbalanced cables going out of it. If you have a mixer close by with HiZ direct inputs, you could go straight into those. If it is further away or doesn’t have those inputs you would need to go into a DI box so that you could convert the signal to a low impedance, balanced signal.

Hi, Edward. Yes, there is an option to do a fade-out on loops. You can actually adjust the length of the fade as well.

Can I store my own mp3 tracks on there
Hi, Ellis. The RC500 does allow you to import your own tracks. It uses WAV files so you would need to convert your tracks to that format but other than that it should work great.

I find RC 500 much easier to understand compare to RC 600 in mi option.
