The power generators were another difficult part of this level finding them and destroying them without crashing into the walls or the ground or crashing into the generators while shooting at them.
No wonder I couldn't pass this level! I didn't know you could blow up those turbo laser platforms so easily. I was trying to blow up the guns one by one!
The one thing I hated about this level was trying to take out those balloons with the weapons in placements without crashing into the stupid things and I mean those rigid wires holding those weapons platforms to the balloons.
1:15 OMG that was how do you have to destroy that shit?? I tried this mission dozens of times 15 years ago and couldnt pass it because i was destroying the weapons one by one and got killed all the time.... my god i had to write some codes to advance into the rest of the missions on the game... If i only knew...
All this time and I didn't realize you could take out the balloons engines. Back in the day when I played it; I always went for the turrets. And kept failing the mission.
>Choose Millenium Falcon
>Try to fly fancy around Cloud City skyscrapers
>Crash and explode every single time
Norcal You can't fly fancy, you gotta fly casual.
@@ayylmao575 But don't LOOK like you're flying casual.
The nostalgia for this game is incredible.

"We have anti-gravity technology, so let's use hot air balloons for our gun platforms".
YEAH, that makes sense!
Totally makes sense lol
Saving money?
@@Grid433 Absolutely. Repulsorlift tech is much more expensive than simply burning fuel.
@@LeoMidori and also they're in gasous giant so they burn like 0.00001% of the planet's resources.
I don't question the damn idea. Just live it be already.

Me too
So was I. Idk how I beat it the first time with an A-Wing. Subsequent attempts I just used a Y-Wing and bombed them.
Totally makes sense
Me to!!!
Fucking hell me too.

The GameCube Star Fox game we never got.
That was Adventures and Assault. :)
Corviknight star fox is always short. It’s an arcade style game meant to be replayed repeatedly

Same my dude!!!
you were not the only one my friend
2:51 I love the "Cloud Car" scene.
Hopefully in the Star Wars universe everyone will eventually build their power generators below ground 😁
Ad hoc imperial occupation of a civilian facility really
I mean, there's not really a below ground on a gas giant
Maybe those generators can get really hot. Even Death Star’s generators needed thermal vents.
In my opinion, this mission is set at almost the same time as the Rebel operations on Bespin as seen in Battlefront I 2004.
Love the cloud city music so majestic
This seems familiar....
2:59 they even knew this was reminiscent of the mission in RS1. The music in the background of that cutscene
but that's just Cloud City's theme tune
Uhh, Taloraan is literally just a discount Bespin. That game even namedrops that planet when you get to its Cloud City
All this time and I didn't realize you could take out the balloons engines. Back in the day when I played it; I always went for the turrets. And kept failing the mission.
Damn. You make it look a lot easier than I remember
It’s so crazy that Bespin is a gas giant planet
Took me forever to find the 3 generators.
finchborat - Didn't know you could use the Targeting Computer to find them?
Press Y and they will appear yellow on your screen
That score though......
I could never find the music for the second half of the mission...
When I first played this level I tried to take out the turrets... but kept dying that way...
ahh i miss this game :( i wish i could play this in win 7
Emulators always work.
YOU CAN SHOOT THE BALLOONS INSTEAD OF THE GUNS?!?!?!?
I was surprised when I first found out when the game was still recent.
The timing on 5:06 tho...
"Lando is a crooked scoundrel we can't trust. HEY, let's buy all our gas from him"!
YEAH, that makes sense!
Lando proved his worth at the end of ESB. This takes place after.
Oh my goodness. There is so much wrong with this comment.
Someone missed _Shadows of the Empire_ and the end of _Empire Strikes Back._
@@TheEmperorHyperionSadly, media literacy is deader than Queen Elizabeth II.
dud you helped me so much lol

WONDERFUL! 🥹
I’m hoping someone leaks the Wii iso one day
If I got a tech upgrade in a level and beat it - do I have to get it again each time I play a level? (I play on my wii btw)
You just need to do it once.
Are you really able to monetize this video with ads running, even though it has the films score in it, which is copyrighted?
I didn’t get any.
I'm stuck in this one....
Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader - The Raid on Bespin
Notice at the end, they allow you to kill 41 of your own friendlies and STILL get a medal?
OH REALLY? Shit... which side am I on again?
Do they count the tibanna gas containers as friendlies?
@@Warsie Probably, since the transports extract the tibanna gas from them, notice the TIE Bombers attacking the platforms.
Um...maybe you're misreading the lines of text? It's 8 friendlies, and above it is a 71% shot accuracy. Check 6:23 again
Nostalgia
This went from one of the best missions in the first game to the absolute worst mission in the second game wtf
I really thought at 6:01 he said “Fu*k!”
