Lol, rowdy neighbors indeed. I have an alien attack shuttle camp here and in addition to the fissure, I get random encounters from the nearby golf course. Ghouls, super mutants, scorched. Not to mention the robots at the monument. And passersby love to blow up the cars in the parking lot too. Never a dull moment!
This sounds like a really fun idea, and not just for this lot, but any lot that can be built in.

Feeding the Algorithm! and to keep the fires burning! Because this was yet another really cool video! Excellent location for a motel, and I (being a very novice CAMP builder) love the fact that there are no "tricks" or etc. Just straight up build. Scorched beast be darned! It's a cool location.

Full tour!! Great idea. I just made a bowling alley. Put pins in display cases and submerge them into the foundation.

I used that spot on the map about six months ago to create a strip mall. One shop was a Vault Tek surplus store. Another was a dinner.

Great camp. I like that location and I hate that location. On the positive side, it's flat and has a built-in parking lot. On the negative side, your camp will be under constant attack from high level enemies.

Have a camp in that location. The cars and world containers are nice but it ALWAYS gets attacked. Scorchbeasts, assaultrons, super mutants; it's awful.

The fences were an Atomic Shop item a little while back. I love those ones. The new paddock fencing from Safe and Sound would also make an excellent motel railing!

We all start at the beginning and learn as we go. The most important part is that you have fun, and watch lots of my videos so you learn all the cool tricks 😘

Great scrappy, wastelandish motel, espcially the one w/adjoining gas station. TNG's modern build at that location is full of inspiration also. ( ua-cam.com/video/ioYm8uSeJBk/v-deo.html ) Thankfully, I don't have to choose which I like better because they're all fantastic, of course, and -- well -- full of inspiration.
No. 1 contributor to building slumps: camp slots. I just went back to building in 4 when and if I feel like it. Oh, that Bethesda would consider releasing the base game as a separate SP w/co-op and modding support. *sigh*
