Ya man truth honest reviewing for $300-$400 DISCONNECTS are unacceptable and disconnect from the start position I`d send it back as a no fly. Now people see the part of the reason Why I will not shell out more than $60-$80 on an RC Vehicle that is shipping tax tag title Out the Door. I do not need $300 paper weights I aint that fancy. Now am I missing out that is YES and NO. There are some that out perform these zinos I will never know

Well Chris.... As a newbie, videos like this throw me off track buddy as get told not to fly quads in any or much wind... I have panicked a bit with my quads when a bit of rain set in and landed asap and ran into my home to try dry any bits of wet off.... I'M LOST IN THOUGHT BUDDY????

Now i was thinking of giving my brushless motors a little zap of wd40 or gt85 lubricants every now and then, but told it is a definite "NO" as lubricants will make motors pick up dirt and damage them on landing... Is this correct buddy and should I just leave them alone?

Fantastic couple of locations Chris I don’t my mobility scooter will make it. I have had bad feelings about the ZINO since day one,for me it’s back of the cupboard for this drone and forget all about it.
If you have mobility problems and mostly fly in a mobility chair remember how jittery the zino is down low to stick commands. You need the Anafi! So stable and easy to launch and catch by hand.
I was half expecting dancing girls to burst out of the water towards the end! Great video, perfectly complimented by the music.... not sure I'd have the balls to attempt it though...

"the file was corrupted" does this ofen happen? are those corrupted files recoverable? it disconected @ 500m. is this the distance when this drone lose signal?
It happens when the quad is cut off before stopping the recording. They are recoverable if you Google it. From there you can choose what best suits you. 👍
During my second flight, the first evening i had my brand new Zino, I had a disconnection. I was starting from the ground in front of my garage. I had no control of the quad when it was at a height of 3 m, and it hung on the corner of my garage then fall on the ground (2,5 m). And, after that, more or less, every time i start from there, i have a lost of connection, even when Zino is just 2 m away from me! I ask myself if it's the metal doors of the 5 garages that disturb the signal, i don't know.
Tatou2B This is a mistake so many make. Leave the house and garage and fly it. Take it to s field or open territory. You are in a environment of interference and possibly blocking your gps signals full potential.
Thanks. I just had my Zino on one of its/my first runs and she disconnected. I freaked! At least now I know to turn off the controller if she doesn’t reconnect.
Rebecca Stanevich If it disconnects don’t panic. Give it a little time to first reconnect and it usually will. If you have to turn the controller off just wait it out and eventually you will have a RTH failsafe. Ovoid flying directly overhead and behind obstacles. It’s good that you had one though. If it happens again you won’t freak as much but it is a little unsettling.
I'm thinking about the Zino was looking for a few months ago, considering the sd et USB open lateral gates, that made me affraid , now I can see U recovering dataes , crazy World , isn't it? By the way, looking about Zino pricing, look this quad more and more exciting,
Thanks for posting another informative review, Chris Good news, the "Gimbal Angle Sensor Failure" that I was experiencing went away after I deleted all previous firmware download files from my hard drive and re-installed the latest suite of upgrades. My Zino is now behaving like a grownup quad once again

QC GUY I agree. The last one I purchased several weeks ago came through with 1.50 so it is possible they are shipping now with the latest and greatest.

I had my Zino in a Snow storm in the mountains on Memorial day and it did fine,the wind that came in was a little too much for me to travel much distance. See my channel for the newest video labeled "Silverton May 27,2019"
I have a big problem. Please help me. I got a "Hubsan Zino" yesterday. I tested it twice, Both times I launched the dron with automatic take-off and both times crashed immediately after the take-off, i didnt touch controller and drone goes sharp left both times and crashed . I changed the propellers because they were damaged. I did a horizontal calibration in house on a flat surface, a compas calibration outside , gps accuracy test, connected the mobile with the cable got the image before the take off I have 14 satellites. The only thing I missed is that I did not connect the phone to the dron via wifi, and if the wifi was highlighted and not bluetooth, I did not know that I had to find the name of the drone in APP and to connect so I thought it was enough to chose only wifi instead of blothtooth... I am BEGINER, I DONT HAVE SPARE PROPELLE ANY MORE, I HAVE FEAR TO LUNCH DRONE AGAIN... PLEASE HELP ME..firmware on the dron is 1.1.50. Thank you in advance
I'm not sure if it was zero degrees because I typically don't go out and fly in that but I flew it in the teens last winter. Battery runs shorter though.
That may be your best combination of work yet, the wind, the tree movement, the water, all in sink with the music. WELL DONE. I think you just might have a new start to your future videos.

Hi QC Guys, I updated gimbal, controller with the latest software. But it cause problem which is the drone often disconnected. Now I using the old software, but problem show up again, which the drone (WIFI drone) could not show to my phone. I wasted my days to scan drone WIFI but not solved. Please suggest how to fix this. I dont get the benefit of the Zino over the H501s-s or the H509s. Seems like they would just keep improving those. Also, I love the H7000 transmitter and it could be a great unit for SAR if they would make it better.

Hi Chris, you are aware you can change the frequency between the controller and the drone to sort out high interference issues like you have here? What does the frequency map show at that spot?
Great vídeo. I was out today shooting waterfalls and had no GPS Signal but flew anyway. Got some decent footage but it was very difficult to fly the Zino. I assume its because of no or poor GPS. the drone was sliding dipping climbing then crashed. My second attempt to fly at a different spot with poor signal the camera fogged up only when the drone was turned on. My questions : have you had similar problems with flight in canyons / ravines with humidity fog lens and loss of control? Thanks
None of those problems other that the days of disconnect behind trees or obstructions. Can't block the signal even the slightest bit and it needs all the GPS bars it can get.

I usually do the waypoint missions with zino in the air around trees and have never had a problem, even in city environments
@@Bobcouto2 Way-points won't ever be a problem as long as you get the mission started. Lose signal or disconnect and it will still finish the mission.

Yes and in all the attempts that was part of the attempt to resolve it. Wasn't working but trying again today.

Great vídeo. I was out today shooting waterfalls and had no GPS Signal but flew anyway. Got some decent footage but it was very difficult to fly the Zino. I assume its because of no or poor GPS. the drone was sliding dipping climbing then crashed. My second attempt to fly at a different spot with poor signal the camera fogged up only when the drone was turned on. My questions : have you had similar problems with flight in canyons / ravines with humidity fog lens and loss of control? Thanks
None of those problems other that the days of disconnect behind trees or obstructions. Can't block the signal even the slightest bit and it needs all the GPS bars it can get.

The black version of the Zino is cool. Wish the fimi came in a darker color, the white just gets dirty and simply does not look as good.
I lose sight of all white quads real easily.
@@QCGUY, that also, the only advantage of white is it probably does not get as hot in the sun.
