I just realized these guys aren't rock stars. They're like really good friends you could always count on. We've been together for 50 yrs thru everything. But I get a bit melancholy sometimes watching these amazing videos. They put out so much top notch music in their last 2 tours. Seems like yesterday I was blowing out my speakers with working man! And now like all things, their time is done. No matter what Lee and Lifeson do from here out,it will be great whatever it is . But it will never be like this song, no Rush ever again. It really is like losing a good friend! RIP Neil!
Thank the Lord the hype in their case was in extremely short supply. You gonna be listening to most of last night's Grammy stuff in 30 years time? In Grammy terms, the shameful tally is Rush - a joke zero, the incomparable Yes 1. A pathetic slur on contemporary music culture.
2020 is such a dumpster-fire year so far... started with Neil's passing and now, amidst the COVID-19 crisis I found almost six minutes of peace from watching this video again. RIP Neil. Everyone: stay safe, stay healthy.
A masterpiece, by three incomparable masters; moves me every time I hear it! Still grieving over Neil; such a beautifully sensitive, intelligent, articulate being. Alex and Geddy, I can’t imagine your profound sense of loss at losing your soul brother. Thanks for everything you’ve given us!
Nothing used to beat a live Rush concert and always looked forward to them. Thanks Rush for making my life a better time and the memories which most I remember.LOL
+cutator 40 yr member here.....cut class to have a listen to this at "bud's" house (lol @ pun very much intended...smirk) and RUSH became my #1 and never left it's lofty "high" perch! Cheers
This song has been my go to for many different situations. Sleepless nights, painful heartaches, broken dreams, lost loved ones, times of aggravation... Neil Peart knew exactly what he was doing when he grabbed his pen & notepad and prescribed the greatest medicine known to man...his masterful lyrics set to the soothing soul of RUSH. God bless you Doctor. RIP Neil
I've always seen this as a song of hope. It's always left me feeling uplifted by the end ... except today ... today it rips my heart out ... It's going to take some time to get over this sad news ... Farewell to a King, RIP Neil
Alex has got to be one of the most underrated guitar players on the planet...beautiful playing on this song and that solo...wow!I may add;I have my ticket to see them in Calgary for the r40 tour
Just discovered this gem while listening to Roll The Bones after the R40 show in northern Va. Truly moving lyrics, rich vocals and brilliant instrumentation. Perfectly placed between Dreamline and RTB. Addicted.
+Steve Levy Dude, seriously....you "just" discovered it? Didn't you listen to it when Roll the Bones came out? Gosh, it's probably the best song on there!
+jrock2264 I was away (figuratively)- for about 27 years, between Signals and Clockwork Angels. Re-engaged earlier this year before my first-ever show. Basically, haven't listened to any other band since May. Discovering a lot of unreal music that I missed out on at the time of release. Better late than never, right?
Indeed! Bravado is really a unique song in their catalog. I found it right away back in....whatever that year was. :) It has a special place in my heart vs. most of their other songs. Welcome....back? !
The best Band of the Galaxy!!! Geddy is fantastic, Alex is a guitar genius and Neil is a God!!! I was Very lucky to see them live on 2002 and 2010 when they came to Brazil. As a drummer I can only say: Rush, thanks for making my life better every single day!!! Greetings from Brazil!!!
I started listening to them 40+ years ago and their music has accompanied me through everything. From my first $1.00 an hour job on a farm, (I'd hum 2112 in my head to make the 3:30am to 7:30am shift go by quicker) to my 70+ muscle cars and 12 superbikes (currently an Impala SS and CBR1100XX Super Blackbird & GSXR1100), they have provided the music of my life. My wife knew about Neil's death and didn't tell me because she knew how much it would bother me. This song right here has summed up my life and I LOVE it.The biggest goal I could never reach would just be to hang out with these guys for a day.
+Jacobs Violin Smiles...TESTIFY Jacobs Violin TESTIFY.........Been riding The RUSH BUS since April 1975 and loved my seat and The Ride!! MY # 1 BAND Cheers Bruddah
Although I've listened to this song a thousand times, I have goose bumps every time I listen to it. Same thing happens with "The garden". Totally meaningful, even more beautiful in a live show. Thank you Rush!
I was such an idiot. I ignored Rush for 50+ years. I decided that they weren’t for me. Then I saw a video review of one of their hit songs by chance. Now I can’t get enough of them. Better late than never.
Unbelievable... this song was posted 9 years ago and I HAD NEVER HEARD IT BEFORE and I consider myself a pretty big Rush fan. Wow just WOW that song was awesome!! Neil Peart is sorely missed . R.I.P.
The best song ever! Just amazing! So true so moving so incredibly played! Just stunning! The things that we get to experience on this life are incredible and this song is right up there!!💕💕💕💕💕 thank you Rush🙏 thank you Neil Peart! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! You are angels!!!
Rush will always be with me, been going through some crappy times. Always makes me feel better listening to some Rush! Thanks for the music guys! Hope you keep up the good work for a bit more! ❤✌🎸
My how I do love this song. Alex's solo gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. As a collection of great musicians, RUSH is one of if not the best band to ever live.
To Renie Laster ….So sorry for your son . Tragic . He at the very most had great taste in music . I hope esp Rush brought him great joy for the time he had . As they have done for so many over time. Three great people, and even better musicians. Long live thier legacy.😀🤪
This band resonates and continues to reawaken every emotion, where I was when I first heard, and has forever forwarded the first experience. I can't explain.
The stage set up was always such a classy set. Seeing these guys fill the stage with three. The lights m and color choices . I always liked the feel of being there.
You can thank the band’s old friend and former tour manager, Howard Ungerleider, for all the atmospheric effects. He went on to form his own lighting company, Production Design International, and remained the band’s Lighting Director until the end.
One of the highlights of the year was to see them in concert. Nothing compares to seeing the guys live and nothing ever will again! Caught them in St. Louis in May of 2015 for the last time...
+Evan Rose agreed! same here, liked it but seemed very static and the previous solos didn't do it justice. This version how he builds it up is incredible
Sorry to disagree dude but have seen Rush over 40 times and their great songs always sounded better then on the albums nothing beats a live concert because they add extra music and rhythms to the songs..Long live Rush
RUSH “speaks” the ineffable with Bravado; words can never say what this masterpiece evokes. Thanks for everything you have given us guys; Rest In Peace our beloved Neil ….
I was so bummed when they didnt play this song when I saw them at Universal in LA on this tour. They also didn't play it at their last show at the forum either for R40. Their Rush in Rio version of this song is my all time favorite of any song. I have listened to it countless times. What an amazing band, SO lucky to have lived during their time.
I used to do a USCF racing series in the 90s, it was 6 times a year for 2 years. I started out 5th, over time I got into 2nd... This song describes it... The other guy a little to fast... I spent thousands in training food and equipment, A cost I don't count...I was as sweet as a Tasmanian devil pre-event and my wife drove me to and from every event... I still have love of the sport and my wife. This song takes me back to the days of sweat and misery looking to be #1 just to fall ever so slightly short. The other gut a little too fast.
Them lyrics. Back in the summer of 1992 I discovered the Roll the Bones album & Rush as a 16 year old. Been hooked on them ever since. What an awesome band! I just hope I can get to see them live one day before they call it quits.
I also discovered them in 1992... same album, at age 17. I've never gotten the chance to see them live and honestly, with Geddy sounding like this, I don't think I want to. This is painful to listen to, and RTB is one of my fav Rush albums.

So true my friend. It’s beyond impossible to not get emotional reading your comment. Rock on….
For My Son Joseph....Rest In Peace. RUSH Was His Favorite Band - He Loved This Song.
R.I.P. Joseph!!!
Hope there is a lot of Rush for him to listen to in heaven. Rest in peace, Joseph.
God Bless
God bless you, Lorene!
RIP Joseph and you be strong , I know how hard it is for a mother to lose her child
This is one of very few rock bands I can think of that actually earned their hype.
Never a truer word spoken!!!
too bad it took forever for non Rush fans and the main stream media to give them that hype
Hype suggests false advertising, but they were always the most genuine of genuine people and artists, so sadly missed.
One of the most meaningful Rush songs. From start to finish.
Their best imo
Yeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssss!
Totally 💯
2020 is such a dumpster-fire year so far... started with Neil's passing and now, amidst the COVID-19 crisis I found almost six minutes of peace from watching this video again. RIP Neil. Everyone: stay safe, stay healthy.
very well said
"Suddenly You were gone from all the lives you left your mark upon" Rest in peace Neil....

Nothing used to beat a live Rush concert and always looked forward to them. Thanks Rush for making my life a better time and the memories which most I remember.LOL
This has become one of my favorite Rush songs in the last 3-4 years. The lyrics just hit different then before.
One of the best things to ever come out of Canada. Been a Rush fan for 35 years.... This song of Roll The Bones(1991) is a work of art.....
+cutator 40 yr member here.....cut class to have a listen to this at "bud's" house (lol @ pun very much intended...smirk) and RUSH became my #1 and never left it's lofty "high" perch! Cheers
Agreed and Canadian beer....

Carl TheSonicman1 Fuck Ya, blood brother!!!!!
I love his guitar playing on Bravado
Absolutely! They have never been promoted as with the BIG bands.... Alex Ged and Neil not appreciated by mainstream publicity.
Rush is Like a Fine Wine...The Older it gets...The Better it gets! R.I.P. Professor!
Are you serious? Geddy's voice went to hell in the later years. You're a fool to say otherwise.
the only "celebrity" death that has made me cry.....RIP the professor
Me too my friend
I 3rd that Emotion
Yes, me too!
Still on certain songs
Me too. I was an absolute wreck that day. It felt like I got stabbed right through the heart.
I always describe this as one of the prettier Rush songs. That it is. RIP LEGEND NP.
I cry everytime I listen to this masterpiece. Great lyrics as well as great sounds. R.I.P. Neil.
Perfect! I remember the first time I heard this song, it was as if my soul left my body and went to the moon.
Just discovered this gem while listening to Roll The Bones after the R40 show in northern Va. Truly moving lyrics, rich vocals and brilliant instrumentation. Perfectly placed between Dreamline and RTB. Addicted.

Nunca esquecerei esta canção...foi ouvindo Bravado que beijei pela primeira vez aquela que a 23 anos está ao meu lado...
Love this song so much and this particular performance. The fans just lapping up the beautiful vibe. RIP Neil farewell to the King 😔
Best instrumental end to a song in the history of songs
one of their best,
I saw Rush at Joe Louis like 2014. I knew every word to every song. They kept putting me on the screen. one of the best times of my life
Whoever thumbs down this obviously has a horrible taste in music.
Just like Leonard Pinth-Garnell
One of my favorite rush songs. RIP Neil peart.
To Renie Laster ….So sorry for your son . Tragic . He at the very most had great taste in music . I hope esp Rush brought him great joy for the time he had . As they have done for so many over time. Three great people, and even better musicians.

One of the few non metal bands I absolutely love and find so talented. Legendary Rush!
The most powerful song.
brilliant musicianship at its finest
Dude... That was absolutely amazing… RIP Neil

From 1991 through to 2024, STILL one of my RUSH favorites.
Still Most powerful band on the Planet....
True.....the best band all time!!
I cannot explain, these three simply wake me up. Absolute originals.
Esses caras são de mais merece todo respeito musicalmente.

Minha eterna referência ao trio mais foda do rock 🙌☮🧙♂️🎸🖤
Rush was always really good at playing the songs just like they sound on the record
Sorry to disagree dude but have seen Rush over 40 times and their great songs always sounded better then on the albums nothing beats a live concert because they add extra music and rhythms to the songs..Long live Rush
The guy in the crowd at 4:42 is exactly how I would be at that moment during this song. Love the ending to the versions of this song
Yep I was there! And every other time Rush has played in Dallas or fort Worth since 1977.
what a fabulus band and most best musicians in the world......they are.....rip Neil
One of the few times I've ever liked and "extended" version of a song by any band....
RUSH “speaks” the ineffable with Bravado; words can never say what this masterpiece evokes. Thanks for everything you have given us guys; Rest In Peace our beloved Neil ….
I Love this Song!

Three MASTERS at their craft!

They aren't calling it quits for at least another 10 years I'd say. They love what they do too much.
runechan
I hope they do come to India and some city near me so I can go see them live.
I also discovered them in 1992... same album, at age 17. I've never gotten the chance to see them live and honestly, with Geddy sounding like this, I don't think I want to. This is painful to listen to, and RTB is one of my fav Rush albums.
