I'm honestly more impressed about the still damn good ripping skills than the powder coated frame. I love this flying style since the beginning. Can't wait for spring. ☀️

When I was at school, several decades ago, stuff we couldn’t powder coat using the traditional method, we’d head up the object in an oven and then dip it into a bucket full of the powder coat, problem was it always went on think that way, so wouldn’t be any good for our drones.
Powder coating is so fun! I have my own DIY system using a toaster oven as well. Spray painting small parts are a thing of the past for me. If it fits in the oven it its powered coated. Plus their are so many more wild colors than what spray cans offer.

Super cool look! There are plastic chrome systems that I have seen on UA-cam which should allow you to chrome the frame without baking it. Thanks for all the great content - keep making it, we will keep watching it!
hey drib, always love to watch your stuff... explaination: the heat destroyes the epoxy resin of the carbon component plates and makes it much more brittle. better stay on spray painting and for better paint rigidity you can cure the paint at max. 60 to 80°C. that will keep the stiffness and flexibility of the carbon as it was untreated. happy flying 👍
