He hates conservative black folk, calling them racial slurs which confuses me, how can a Democrat call a black conservative a n*gger and not consider that racist?

I don’t think about it often. I have been known to call dumb people of all races the word with a hard R for the express purpose of making them angry. I think the average white American would be shocked to realize that they fit the word more than American blacks. Hell, I was in a bar in the midwestern us in 2017 and had a blast informing the white guys that they had unwittingly elected the first n-word president. Trump is the definition of the word. The man had 3 baby mamas, drug addicted sons, loved gold and shiny objects, has bad credit, always in court… all he needs is a Kanye produced hit song, and get shot once, and he’s at Boosie’s level. They were hurt, but they laughed. And we drank more beer.

To quote The GOAT Richard Pryor "I will never call another black man nigga again. That is a word to describe our own retchedness. We are strong people." The gross legacy of racial hatred may not seem like a day to day reality for white Americans (and I say this as a lifelong Republican) but it is a stain on the dignity of our fellow Americans who suffered under it. Mike is a force of nature, can beat the life out of most people, but he is a HUMAN BEING, and to me there is nothing lower than attacking someone's dignity, because it's the hardest thing to defend against. As a 55 year old Black man, I'm "Team Kenan" on this one. I LOVE Mike Tyson, & he's showed such tremendous growth these last 5 or 6 years. Having said THAT, his intense defense of using the "n" word, is one of the things that kind of negates that progress. Still love Mike, but we're gonna have to "agree to disagree" on that shit. I never even knew about this argument, until today.

    • @hyped-up-charlie

It's not a argument watch the Tyson show. Kenan was just to uptight that's all. I agree the word should not be used, but at same time Tyson been threw shit keanan can only dream of so to try and take moral high ground with a guy like Mike isn't so smart and is actually testing the guy.

Can't knock Kenan for what him and other like him are trying to do. But its a futile effort and I hate hangups on words. Word are just as powerless as they are powerful. If u feel like N-word is too strong of a word to u then so be it but dont tell another grown man how to speak.
Kenan isnt a comedian, no word is off-limits for a real comic. Ultimately using the N-word is not the root of our problem not even a part of it, just a scapegoat issue.

I don't have a problem with people using versions of Nwords as long as they know what it means and use it in the correct context.
Nwords are people who originated on the island of Coromandel "New Zealand" and are the oldest living humans on this planet.
    Surprise!
They used Australia as the very first Native Reservation for their people called today Australian Aboriginals "Austral-Nwords".
Then their is N1gg@ which is a term for Coastal Nwords.
Today you say Mermeen "Mermaids" or you can say Nikker(jte).
When using those two words properly shouldn't be a problem but for those who misuse the word you should ignore them in whole because today Amerikans of colour are civilized and that's why they are called Blacks instead of Nwords.

I've known several black people who dont like or use the N-word. Its depressing how whites IRL are non-supportive of black people who dont use this word and will go as far as to argue with them on why everyone else should say it... yet, they are praising Kenan in the comments for not using the word. Its funny how we dont value the black guy we see everyday who do not use the word, means well and greets us with a smile. Its almost as if black people have to be celebrities first before white people will appreciate them. I'm white and i've seen this from coast to coast here in the U.S. You're damned if you do and you're damned if you dont if you're black in America. No other culture in America has it this bad.

Psalm 23 The Lord is my Shepard, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures, He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul, He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou prepardest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my live: and I will dwell in the house of The LORD for ever.

Y'all aren't seeing the big picture. Mike was sentenced to prison for grape and everyone in earth knew he was innocent. Now he's a national treasure. That's how you know that everyone knew he was innocent. Nobody bounces back from that in the hearts of the people. C'mon now. It was like, just take it Mike. At that same time, on the same day I think, a Kennedy was found not guilty of a grape trial that he was clearly guilty of. Then his plane crashed.
Even Ali told Farrakhan, "I'm still a (N). No matter how many titles you win, no matter what you go through, the world reminds you that they see you as one. Even if you become president. Look how many brothers get robbed at the Olympics in boxing. Look at kapreanick. Look at Treyvon Martin and Zimmerman. The country has spoken. Look at the constitution. On paper, we're still 3/5 of a person, legally! Mike knows what time it is. E knows where he came from. He's probably the most read historian of war that we have and for his life, he's been treated like a crazy dumb (N) even today by his own admirers and fans, even when he's high as a kite and old. He's referred to as some wild animal that could snap at any moment. Smh. Y'all proved his point.
Choosing not to use that word doesn't change the way bigots, racists, court systems or the government sees you or your straw man on paper.

Someone needs to explain to me the fascination with Mike Tyson. I’m in my 40s, hardcore boxing fan and have seen just about all his fights. But beyond boxing, I fail to see what is Mike’s contribution to society, even as an entertainer. People go on his podcast to kiss his ass and basically end up interviewing him instead of the other way around. Sometimes says something semi profound, but the rest of the time he’s just there. He was not a role model when he was young and he’s still not a role model now. Why the Tyson worship? Props to Keenan for standing his ground.

    • @MoeGunz
      @MoeGunz 11 місяців тому +2

Tyson is the perfect example of character building. Literally the rise, fall, and rise again story. Overcame a lot of adversity.
The fascination comes from how he became one of the best. Then lost everything and turned into a monster. He then grew older and matured into a man. He lost a child and is still going with a positive outlook.
You can watch his one man show “The Undisputed Truth” to get an idea. I don’t think the praise comes from oh he says things smart sometimes, it’s more about his growth as a man.
