Mike Tyson is the definition of a man who came from nothing, gained the world, lost it all, and in return gained his humanity and humility. You can't be any happier for him.
So true
Amen 🙏!💯

"I don't want to be great, I know allot of great people who are not good"

That one actually deserved the applause break! but it was some points where I swear Tyson could’ve said what he had for breakfast & the crowd would of broke out clapping
That was a mean bar! 🔥
He has said that before, but no doubt dope. Only thing that would make it better imo, would be if he said........i know a lot of great people that do bad things.
He said he’d rather just be a good person…I felt that 💯
The edit button and spell checker is also great too and I'm not hating I'm just pointing out that a l l o t is not the same as A lot

“I know a lot of great people but they’re not good people” - Mike Tyson
One of the realist statements I’ve heard
Realest words I can hear in my life today
U people are wowed by anything someone says in a internet platform watch this…”you can be sheeple but not people” -Q-Storm YALL: THATS THE REALIST SHIT IVE EVER HEARD IN MY LIFE!!!!☺️
@@QstormtheGod i have met plenty of great people who are the shittiest flakiest "friends"
ABSOLUTELY!!!
Hes been sayin that for years.. you just never studied the man.
"I’m the best ever. There’s never been anybody as ruthless. I’m Sonny Liston. I’m Jack Dempsey. There’s no one like me. I’m from their cloth. There’s no one that can match me. My style is impetuous. My defense is impregnable. And I’m just ferocious." Greatest post fight rant
Praise be to Allah
Finish the quote lol
@@chinorod9265 right he stopped at the best part
Mike is more like Jack Dempsey than sonny Liston
Mike and Jack Dempsey both had many similarities
Both come from a poor rough background
Had to fight to survive
Both become heavyweight champions of the world
Both are aggressive and very violent taking down bigger men in the ring
Both got bullied for their voices as young kids
Mike had to rob and steal to survive
Dempsey would fight any man for money in saloons train-stations backyard-contests mining towns ETC he’d even fight with no food in his belly sometimes going a few days without it very tough men and are very inspirational
If you didn’t know Mike Tyson’s boxing hero was Dempsey dressed like him and even had the same hairstyle as him and the same ferocious behaviour in the ring
@@chinorod9265 it takes a real dark left turn. Off road with no helmet.
DAMN. Mike Tyson said "When we see our kids, we see what we've been hiding from our entire life". As a parent of 2, this is one of the most insightful and truest comments I've ever heard on the internet. Salute Mike.
Man, not everyone caught that
Y'all done fucked around and interviewed the G.O.A.T.. So much real here. Can't be faded. The man is on THIS level. Come up here with us.
“I don’t want to be great I want to be a good person.”

That quote sent chills through my body you can tell he really meant that
"Death is growth"......I just left the house to cry in the car

“I want to succeed in life because I want to be up more than anyone else wants me to be down”……That hit Mike 💎

Bro that line killed me but it went over a lot of heads.
Love how when Mike is about to talk & he takes that extra second or so, the whole room is totally silent... Not many people can command a room like that.. A mixture of respect & intimidation.
When he says "Hey listen..." you listen!
“There’s a lot of great people that are not good people.” ~Mike Tyson~
Loved this interview this man is as realest as they come!
This is a BAR!!!!!
I don’t understand it. Where I come from, great is a word to describe something better than good. So how does this line make sense?

I love how Mike doesn’t mind correcting people when they are misquoting or misunderstanding him.
Growing up as a kid in the 80s the Mikes ran the world. Mike Tyson, Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan....nothing would get you more hype then anticipation of a Tyson fight
George Michael? Lol.
Specifically.. the "Black Mikes"..
oh.. and Michael Jai.. he was coming up in the nineties as well.💪
SO true! The 80's was the beginning; when only 13% of America started influencing the 🌎! 💯
Real sick, brawl nights, I perform like Mike……..
Michael is a strong name, God angel is called Michael.
I love N.O.R.E. his interviews are hilarious, but he was not ready for this interview. Mike went over his head like airplanes at an airport. N.O.R.E. was playing catch up, he deflects the flow of the interview to stay in it. I remember when Joe Rogan interviewed Mike and that was a great interview, Joe handled the interview, but a few times was stumped by Mike. Watching a Mike documentary as reference is not preparation. Mike a Legend.
Yeah it’s cringing watching him talk 😂
DJ EFN looking what are you talking about lol
Both of them were not prepared, sadly, but I still always learn so much from Tyson's wisdom. God bless him.🙏❤👑
Mike is such a deep thinker, they couldn't keep up. But I love Mike for that! So intriguing 🥰
When Mike said “Just looking at somebody got me here”. Mike SAW Ali when Mike was 12, that moment inspired and changed the trajectory of his whole life. This is how powerful representation is, it can literally spark a flame!
Mike said some real shit by saying “Don’t make me out to be an idiot by not interacting with me” I’ve always noticed this about him and I think we all love and respect his spirit 🙏💪
Aye I loved that part too. I'm not finished with the vid yet but that segment stuck with me. They were probably just being so careful, that it was a little offensive.
Yes! He's like HOLD ON, IM HERE TO CHOP IT UP, BE INTIMIDATED FOR WHAT, IM HUMAN TOO! I love me some Mike Tyson

Classic interview. Mike Tyson was my fav fighter growing up I'm 46.. watching his fights and him now is a blessing
There is no bigger interview than Tyson. I was a young teen, when at least 20 family members got together to watch a Tyson pay per view fight and it only lasted a minute or so. We can never get back those Tyson, Jordon, Biggie/Tupac years.
Mike Tyson is the most real person living right now he’s very insightful and always has something great to share with people

You don’t transition from being a cold blooded monster into becoming a kind hearted well natured person. Truth is Mike was always a great person, who was unfortunately surrounded and controlled by animals who pretended to give him what he desperately needed, love. What we saw from Mike in his darker days, was an extremely powerful but lonely and scared young man who only knew one way to survive. I am so grateful to be able to see where he is today. His stand up / broadway show was absolutely amazing and very necessary, for him and the world to experience. Salute to Iron( physically and mentally strong)Mike Tyson. Always a Champ!!!
Goosebumps

We also gotta take his early years into account, PTSD can make people behave so out of characters and the black community carries many burdens
@@tontonbonnet7397 Very true!! Just based off of stories that Mike did share with the public, it is easy to tell that he had amassed a great amount of trauma at an early age. Now let’s add the many other troubles that Mike didn’t share with us. It’s very possible, if not likely that Mike was suffering from ptsd before he even put on a pair of 🥊.

Absolutely, its clear that they are on a basic level and haven't grown
You're right. Nore acts a bit too corny sometimes, well a lot of times, to the point that it's frustrating to watch sometimes when he interviews people. Just when you know the guest is about to take you to a whole new level, a deeper level about themselves, Nore always kills it by always having to say something. The main part of being a good interviewer is being a good listener, which means you just got sit back and shut the fuck up, and let the guest complete his sentence.

Drink Champ honors the legends, but to see Mike Tyson honored as a Hip-hop legend reminds the world that Hip-hip is a culture. A fabric woven in depths of the underground by those determined to make it to the top.
