I love the character of Marlene as she was pretty much the epitome of the tart with a heart. She had been around the track a few times, but at her very center, she was a good, caring person. I love that moment at Rodney and Cassandra's wedding reception where Del Boy opens up to her about the sacrifices he made for his baby brother, and you just know that if he had to he'd make them again. I just love how Marlene listens to him and sympathizes with how it had affected his love life, but Del Boy never felt any resentment toward Rodney. She was a good friend to her former lover.

Oh my, oh my. Just brilliant. I am now in my ninth decade and I still burst out laughing with this utterly brilliant series. This will be watched in a hundred years time and people will still fall over. John Sullivan should get a posthumous award for what he wrote.
People will watch Only Fools And Horses for decades to come as the humour is timeless and the acting is so good. Who in 40 years time will remember all the singing contests and braindead reality shows that pass for entertainment these days?
