This is the best instructions I’ve used. Was always having trouble understanding how to get to #2 facet to program. Very easy. You program both 1 and 2 at the same time. I was trying to do one then go back and do the #2.
FANTASTIC! The package does not tell you all this. I was having trouble using my timer but you just solved all my problems! THANKS!! Great video too. Rightt to the point. No useless footage. Well done.
Drats, mine sets up just fine and will work but it seems to shut down randomly. It has brand new batteries and is that normal for the display to shut down between cycles? It makes sense, but I camt seem to find a way to wake it up besides removing the batteries. I cleaned thwir contacts and made sure its sitting as tight as possible, so its not that. The clock was off by like 5 hours to but it came back on on ita own. Its like the board is a little meessed up. Oh well. Ill figire it out.
Cool video thanks 😊 quick question my irrigation computer somehow doesnt show the next watering cycle in auto irrigation mode could that be because i set it to 4 days and it only shows 24hrs beforehand or so? Thank you in advance have a good day!
You have been very helpful! Question: I have it set for the morning. Zone 1 at 5:00 and zone 2 at 6:00. My timer says "next 2" NOT "next 1." Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
I can't believe how many people want to run both stations at the same time. If so, why have 2 stations? The whole point of 2 stations is for 2 separate times. Just get a single station timer and a hose splitter. The whole point of 2 stations is to also increase pressure for each station. Your video is GREAT and very helpful. Thanks. I'd give it a second like if I could.
I have a Model 94148 with 2 ports. Great little gadget, but you have to be patient, careful and curious to get the best out of it, I find. Each port can only be programmed with one opening time in 24 hours - right? - because it has a 24 hour clock for setting the timings, and each port has only one opening time. So can I get it to open each port twice every day? If I set it to open a port at, say, 7 am, and set the "How Often" to 12 hours, will it open at 7 am and at 7 pm?
Hi, I have the same timer. It does not always seem to work right. Especially when trying to run it manually. Also doesn't always shut off when it is supposed to. Is there a support phone number to call?
Walter I use only the first port. I presently have the start time at 5:30 am. I would like it to start again at 3:30 pm (10 hours later). After the 3:30 pm start, will the spinkler start 10 hours later or resume starting at 5:30 am.
I have the 58910 model and was wondering what the blinking icon in the lower right corner means? It looks like a battery icon, but fresh batteries are installed.
Question - I set up the orbit exactly the way you explained, but I am having trouble with 2nd station. The first station starts exactly at the scheduled time but the 2nd station does not starts on scheduled time. The display shows how much time is left to start the 1st station but it does not show how much time left for 2nd station. Even when I click station button on Auto mode, it does not switch to station2. Am I missing any setting? Please suggest.
What is the best way to accomplish the following - I have the 2 port. One port will set up for a pop-up sprinkler system in a garden. I have this much accomplished! For the second port, I want to be able to attach a regular garden hose to water potted plants on the porch. Shall I just use the manual operation on the second port or shall I program the second port to run all day (is that even possible). Help!
I have a digital 2 Orbit system that for some reason won’t allow me to manually switch stations when I want to water my lawn. I’ve never had an issue doing it before. Any thoughts?
I only use station1; but how can I manually turn it on in order to see & show my gardener what it is sprinkling? Do I leave the dial on Auto & then touch ch the manual button?
Great and easy to understand video. Thank you. My question is .... how do I have both stations water multiple times a day and set it. Can’t be home daily to push the manual button to set it to do the duel watering. ?
to water multiple times per day, you'd want to set the HOW OFTEN to one of the lower settings. you could do every 6 hours (4 times a day) or every 12 hours (twice a day.)
I have been using this two port timer successfully for many years but a problem today that one of the stations will not turn on either using the timer or by pressing "manual" - any suggestions pls or do you think it is broken?
I've followed the instructions. Both ports run constsntly. I've also done a rest. No improvement. The time is brand new. Any suggestions or is it broken.
How do you use the 2nd port to hook a hose to it to fill up a watering can . I can’t get the station to change from 1 which drips my hanging planters ?
When I programmed the two station timer only station 1 would show on the timer or go on, or station 2 another time when I tried to program it again. Can both stations be set to go on at the same time and day? I would really appreciate an answer because I spent hours trying to figure this out. Even on yours it only shows one station scheduled. Thanks so much.
I have both stations set. Is it possible to run station 1 every two days and have station 2 run every two days, but on opposite days as station 1? For example, station 1 runs Monday, Weds, Fri. Station 2 runs Tuesday, Thursday, Sat.
I just hooked up my timer….the auto start on station 2 doesn’t work. I can program station 1, but when I program station 2 it just skips it (it doesn’t show up as the next station up, it still says station 1). Station 2 works on manual, but not when I try to manually run station 1 and 2 together. Do you know what the problem might be?

For some reason, my set schedule doesn’t acknowledge that I have both stations set for watering every 2 days. It still says it’s going to water every day. Wondering if I need to do a hard reset
Hi, mine stops exactly after 7 days and then you have to reset it which is very annoying because i go away a lot in the summer and rather find one that i don't have to call the neighbor to reset it . How do I set the timer to skip a day. I water on even number days and some months have the 31st & 1st. I am not allowed to water on those days so have to skip the 1st of the month.
This timer only allows for intervals, not for specifically odd/even days. So you would need to set the interval to every other day (every 2 days) and then remember to adjust it on those days months that have odd number days. If you're interested in a timer that can do what you're asking, you may be interested in our B-hyve smart hose faucet timer, which allows you to program the timer specifically for odd number days and also tell it about any watering restrictions that exist in your area. I set both stations to run at the same time but I think station 1 starts at the set time and station 2 starts automatically when station 1 is complete. Is this how it should work? (I wasn't aware that they wouldn't run simultaneously)
Hello, this is the way it should work. None of our timers will run both stations at once because the water pressure would often be too low in that case. If stations are scheduled at the same time it will run the lowest number station first (station 1, then station 2, etc.).
It would have been very helpful for this to have been included in the video instructions. I’d never have discovered how to work this without going through all these different comments and the occasional reply from the company!
We do not. None of our timers allow for more than one zone at a time. This is due to performance problems when water pressure is too low from having multiple zones open. However, if you need more than one sprinkler on a line, we make many sprinklers with pass-through ports that let you daisy-chain sprinklers together.
Hello, if you can reach out to us via private message on one of the social channels listed in the video description, we can help from there to get you what you need. Thanks.
Hello, we'd need to get more info to determine the error and what the course of action would be. Please reach out to us via one of the linked social media channels and we'll get in touch.
I set just faucet #2 for every 7 days and when I turn the dial to Auto it shows the next water time for that station as 24 hrs. instead of 6 days so it turns on every day.
To do this, you would first push the manual button, then the STATION button to select which station you'd like the water to come out of (whichever station your hose is attached to). Then select the minutes. Note that the nature of this timer requires you set a specific amount of minutes; it cannot be set to just be on. Assuming you have a nozzle or pistol on the end, it should prevent unwanted water waste. Hope this helps.
@@orbitsprinklers That's the biggest design change mistake you made, removibng the manual lever that lets you turn your hose on like a faucet. Punching in manual minutes just to run a hose is a big pain.
Decent video, but after running mine for a time or maybe two, it just resets the time back to Sunday and erases all of my programming. Kind of defeats the purpose if I need to re-program it every day.

This could be a number of reasons. Hello, this is the way it should work. None of our timers will run both stations at once because the water pressure would often be too low in that case. If stations are scheduled at the same time it will run the lowest number station first (station 1, then station 2, etc.).

Does orbit make water hose timer that allows you to water two zones at the same time
We do not. None of our timers allow for more than one zone at a time. This is due to performance problems when water pressure is too low from having multiple zones open. However, if you need more than one sprinkler on a line, we make many sprinklers with pass-through ports that let you daisy-chain sprinklers together.

We're sorry to hear this. Please reach out to our support team and they will get this resolved: www.orbitonline.com/contact-us/
where do I put the batteries, I did not install this? 7 years ago
My outlet is displaying all 88888 on the screen and won't let me change anything. Did it lose its mind. Do I have to replace it
Hello, we'd need to get more info to determine the error and what the course of action would be. Please reach out to us via one of the linked social media channels and we'll get in touch.
Thank You!!!
how do you run both stations simultaneously? I have mine set for the same day same start time but both stations wont turn on.
This is not possible.
Which connection is station 1?
the left (when looking at the timer).
3/19/24 How do I turn one station off?
Can port 2 be set to start watering during the time port 1 is on?
It can however it will not run at the same time. When both ports have the same start time, the timer will stager them.
I set just faucet #2 for every 7 days and when I turn the dial to Auto it shows the next water time for that station as 24 hrs. instead of 6 days so it turns on every day.
Generally, when you make adjustments, they'll water the next time the programmed start time comes up and then start the interval after that.
@@orbitsprinklers Okay, thanks, I'll try it again.
What if I wanted to wash my vehicle how would i do that. With the dual orbit. My timer will not let me.
OK when I press the station button, nothing happens
Decent video, but after running mine for a time or maybe two, it just resets the time back to Sunday and erases all of my programming. Kind of defeats the purpose if I need to re-program it every day.
stations are not marked so I can't tell which is which
Nice informative video thank you!
It would be nice if they printed the station number on the unit
Has anyone had a problem with this model where it auto turns off when you are programming it?
hello, if you mean it stops watering while programming, this is normal. however if you mean the timer goes dead (the screen goes blank) this is not normal, and we'd like to help resolve. Please send us your contact info via one of the social media channels in the video descriptions and our support team will get in touch.
which is station 1 and station 2
when looking at the timer, station 1 is on the left, station 2 on the right
why does it click loudly when i set it?
this is the valve opening and closing.
Duh mr electronics, which outlet is station 1……
Port is station one in which Port is Station to
Only 1 station runs when both are set to different times? why won't the other one run?
We're sorry for the difficulty you're encountering. If you'd like to pass us your contact info via private message on our social channels, we will get in touch and help resolve the problem.
I, too have the same problem. How does one send a private message to orbit?
Mine doesnt want to start at the set times
This could be a number of reasons. It could be as simple as the AM/PM is backwards on either the current time or the start times, it could be a small programming error, or it could be a problem with the timer. Please pass us your contact info via private message on social media and we'll get in touch to help.
Is there anyway to set a delay for manual mode? Like have it start 5 minutes after you set it.
Where is the battery?
The battery tray is on the back of the timer.
