Great video, I love that all the Japanese noodle videos show people stepping on the noodles, even in Japanese restaurants in Japan. I bake bread, tortilla, pizza, pizza, pitas and make noodles, Pennsylvania egg noodles and even dog treats with carrot and sweet potatoes. Amazing how every culture uses the same ingredients in slightly different ways. But with the same techniques. Folding pressing and resting. Thank you.
תודה על המתכון. נראה שלא קשה להכין אותו במיוחד שזה משולב עם פעילות ספורטיבית🎉
I just saw udon recipes and clicked play... oh my gosh I laughed when I saw you kneading with your feet!!! I totally get it. Thank you so much for making my day!!!
I'm from Bosnia, and I'm making this recepie, with my kids. I wish we have more spices in our shops.
I love your method of kneading the dough with your feet. Great fun method. Thanks🙏☺️
Girl i came to this recepie bc udon noodles have been completely sold out at the store... but I really wanted to eat them today on my birthday. I once did italian pasta but never ever did i try asian noodles. I still have not boiled them but they look and feel already soooooo good, unbelivable!! Luckily i did a double portion so i can dry some for a later use. But really, thank you so much, without even having eaten them - i did not expect them to come out this good !!!
Italien 😂
Thnk u very much fr the wonderful demonstration, sharing your skills for those who want to learn the easy and proper way. More power to you and Godbless.
Thank you !
I knew they were made with your feet. And so when I was searching out a recipe here on UA-cam, I went through all of them until I saw yours! What a beautiful video.

This works like a champ. I was trying to make udon at home for my kid as she adore it and the one they sell at stores has too much of preservestives. Thank you very much, very appreciate.
Thank you for making this so easy to follow, I feel like I’m learning a family recipe ❤
I'm invested in this. Thank you for showing me the ropes!!
I always wanted to know, how it works that dough can be rolled onto itself in the rolling pin. Thank you for explaining so thoroughly!!!
looks good and easy hope i can make it too :D
Great video, love the fun. I'm gonna try to make this evening. It looks like a great workout as well. Watch TV while making noodles.
Heyyy actually kneading with the feet seems so much more easier😂
i just made this and it IS much easier! i barely brought the dough together with my hands but the second i stepped on it it became very soft and pillowy, all my suspicions just faded away 😭

Now I know how to make them. I plan to have fun with it.
Wow that's soooo cool, thank you! I'll try it right now. Update, started to make it, I took the half of ingridients for two people, BUT my dough is very sticky, not possible at all to take it out of the bag. So where is the Problem?

2:10 kawaiii desu yo ❤❤
سپاس🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love it!!!!
hi
this is how i make noodle
i knead for 10 min
next let it rest 30 min
next i knead 10 min more & next cut them ( ofc thinner )
& next i put them in fridge
when i boil them. they go broken
why?
Yummmm❤
oh, so you roll it back into a ball I always kneaded it into a pizza looking circle so its easier to roll out after.
thnk u mam
Where is the stir fry sauce recipe to go with the noodle then?😅Cheers.
I presume if you don’t have feet, you can use a bowl mixer with a kneading attachment.
Im low on resources at the moment, so i didn't have a hygienic way to knead with my feet, so i used my fists lol. It took a long time, but i was able to get a good consistency, the noodles came out a great, slightly stiffer than some of the store bought noodle ive had, but still very slurpable lol. It took me a little over 20 minutes of fisting them, i had to switch hands every few minutes lol.
oh, I admire your dedication! it must have been hard doing it with your fists but I'm glad they came out well! I was a little hesitant to try this recipe myself (because it looks like hard work and my executive function said "nope") but you have inspired me, I'll try this tomorrow
🎉❤ @morganerecipes
Wow! Today I found your channel. I'm so excited to have a new Asian subscriber to follow. I'm so excited. 🎉
@notsans9995 🤗🥰
Awesome dedication with having a different body resource to be able to complete the noodle labor.
Unfortunately, my body, is so disabled I can only accomplish this simple recipe with minimum ingredients that can be mixed by some sort of kitchen machine like a big mixer. ❤🎉❤
موفقه ياااااااارب احلى 👍❤❤
if i wear a men's 15, should i wear high heels to avoid having low pressure on the dough?
...I had to say, the stir fry udon noodles looks thinner and rounder than the soup version. It doesn't look like the one she made.
Is it ok to skip the feet step part?
Same my feet are stinky lol
❤❤❤❤
Nice socks !
Arigato 🙏
⭐
Gosh I Wana eat today not tomorrow
Use nodle machine..not tired
20g is a strong amont of salt !

Do you think the standing on dough technique works for other doughs like pasta? 😂
Yes, I use this technique for all types of noodles. We use less arm strength.
Wow, that’s so cool. Will be trying this all the time as I hate using my hands. Thank you ☺ @@MorganeRecipes
C'est pas comme ça qu'on prononce "udon" si jamais. le "on" c'est un son typiquement francophone, qui n'existe pas en japonais.
I get so much shit for my toe socks. Love em babe.
Discussing!
yallah you mean knead with hands right? BECAUSE YOUR DISRESPECTING FOOD!!!!😱😭💥
She doesn't "disrespecting" food.
Can you do this with lectin-free ingredients for inflammation reduction and weight loss? Like sorghum or hemp seeds? Gluten is one kind of lectins which causes all kinds of inflammation from farting to serious auto immune diseases like diabetes, Alzheimer's, and speed up cancer growth. After your lectin-free diets, you and your family will find that you have more energy and clarity.
Definitely not. The udon needs gluten for the texture and structure.
If it’s gluten-free, it isn’t udon. Have some rice noodles or something.
No. Eat something else.
Some people aren’t allergic to it hun
Absolutely not. You go eat something else, don't ruin our sacred udon
No, then its not Udon
