Loving the game just wish they had a larger variety of clothing option for the player
They have different colors and they also have tons more gear in the battle hub

Yeah but half of these have to be replace by mods. Not that I don't mind but mods can conflict with each other. Then you got people be like, "help, it doesn't appeared for me" for not reading before install. 😂
Not everything is in the shops.
You can get it outside of shops, like for example, Ryu's gi.

Definitely gonna be prioritizing style over stats once I get the game
You can do both. The game let’s you use gear with stats but also has a tab where you can chose your style separately.
You can look the way you want without worrying about stats. You have to get the upgrade first
There's transmog system, you just need to unlock them in your skill tree as you level up

The upgrade in particular is when you have the option to change gear appearance like say you’re playing a female and you have combat boots on but you want your character to wear low heel pumps. The gear appearance perk lets you do just that.
It seems pretty empty, they probably are gonna add a ton of stuff later on
EDIT: just found out, these aren’t all the clothing options, there are some you get around the world that aren’t in shops. It’s not much tho

All the stores in tej different regions have different stuff
@@joe7park I've found some shirts, like Haggar shirt, some sets like the Jiangshi Set and probably Ryu's clothes, as I've got his top, and the character creation also shows the legs, and the gloves I got them elsewhere too
damn, it sucks they have some stuff locked behind the single player mode, I'm not even going to waste my time on that part

@@jelanidoyle I noticed theres a handful of NPC's with exclusive outfits/clothing. We dont have capes at all, and when I was doing the post-Rashid release tournement added in nayshall, I noticed some of them had on Juri and Manon's footwraps, and the spiked choker too. The rest of thier costumes were all avatar stuff we can get, so I was hoping somewhere these were available.
ALSO- theres ninja costumes in actual black, so theres colors not available to us. Seems really goofy to not have these all available and just wasted on NPCs

The World Tour Idea was great, hopefully there will be more clothing and different areas in the future updates.
Considering how long the time is between sf games they really need to add a lot more to World tour though
The sheer lack of clothing options at launch is unacceptable...
Was really hoping I'd be able to create any character.
Though the character features modeling tool is insanely robust, there are so few costume options and even fewer that look good.
I'm loving the game... ish... but the character gear available is lackluster
Yeah u can definitely tell they put most of the effort into how u can make your character with big nose small head, but once u get to the options of tattoos , hair or make up and eyes it's very limited and the gear u can get is lacking. It's sad they hyped up the customization like it was top tier, like woah u can make an ugly character, u can make em Glow . N sure u can get creative with but that's it

I know which one you mean, they were able to be bought in the beta. So they will prob be an battle hub purchase not in world tour
They’re in world tour, I’ve only seen them in the random battles with the NPC’s though, near china town is where I’ve found them 🤷♀️

When you unlock dhalsim, go to the merchant next to him. He sells the chain wraps

Abysmal. It's like they didn't even want to give you the ability to make an interesting looking character.
Made a list of clothes I need for Jotaro Kujo custom avatar.
Hat: 0:22 *dye it black)
Coat: 2:54 (dye it black)
Shirt: 1:55 (dye it army green or more specifically #7D8E67)
Pants: 0:43
Shoes: 1:03

There is several outfits they don't let us use but let side irrelevant characters use like Tommy's full gladiator set near the novice tournament

Having your male or female avatar reach Level 100 even at the beginning is a tough one to swallow even if this takes many days completing such a starter task.

Can you showcase all special clothing you get after beating some characters, achieving goals, etc? Like Alice's gloves, Thrasher's shades, Legendary Gi, etc?
I can tell you after raising Ryu’s style to around 18 you get a mission that grants you his headband. And some matches offer his gi by performing a Perfect Parry…for anyone who didn’t know this.

It’s very late in chapter 14/ early 15. It’s located in Mount Vashal base, behind the waterfall. You head to this room as part of progressing the story so it’s impossible to miss.

I hope that in the next updates there will be more options for clothing and skin pieces, I was thinking about making avatars of Tia Langray from Breakers for example, besides her, I also thought about different characters from obscure games.

Did anyone already got the gi in ryu's style yet? I see plenty npc running around in that gi with different colors in nayshall. Its like the devs are teasing us knowing we want that gi for our avatar XD I feel like it will be a battle pass or battle hub item to buy
you can get it if you figth with ryu, its a reward for doing perfect parry on that figth IRC

Yes and there is a online shop in the online hub
yeah some gear you can get from certain NPCs. They appear randomly in their fight challenges though so you might havve to face them multiple times to get it to appear

The demo lets you try out the body/face creator for free
Kind of disappointed with the lack of variety on the clothing aspect. Well here's to hoping they won't do a copy paste when they add new clothing's to the game.

You can get those out of sirn boxes I believe or even from fighting npcs I have a few
Can you also change the color of the bought items? And if so are there limited colors to chose from or are you free to use the whole palette 🙏🏽
There very limited color changes for each item, your basic Red blue green, black brown and the very rare dark green or light pink for some.
@@ninefangthesniper Thank you for the response! That's a bummer:/ ... I find it sad to have restrictions when a game seems to offer lots of creativity for the player. A bit disappointing that there's no proper color wheel that let's you adjust the right color...
So basically colors like yellow, purple, orange etc are very rare to be found I assume?
@@candasturan4559 exactly, your basics to start are normally Red, blue, white and black.
Pink, yellow, brown and Green are a little harder to come across in terms color changes for most attire pieces.
The clothing I noticed that has more of the brighter colors you mentioned, would be the "street wear" types of clothing. I.e baggy pants, heavy jackets, tank tops, joggers, shorts and leggings. Just to name a few.
Apologies for the late response, but you got me thinking so I went back into my game to do some research. I haven't gotten very fair in the main story, I'm only on chapter 12 right now so there are some stores I haven't bought from.
But from what I can gather most of them are down to your basics colors unless you're aiming to dress more youthful. Street wear is what you want to look for in terms brighter colors.
What sucks is that none of these are street clothes

ever since i saw the spartan npc in metro city i wanted those clothes
IN your knowledge, is there a legendary shoes gear? i'm all legendary besides the shoes xD i just want to look all golden and maxed out, but can't find that piece anywhere... is it even in the game? You can get up to 7 buffs, but i got only 6 so far... 'cause it looks like there are no shoes that give any power up besides base stats. Did any of you find anything?
I'm thinking they will add more but I notice there's a blank section that says Fighter pass TBA in the rewards section so I wouldn't mind that function long as it can be done Pve Vs Ai and Pvp regular online but.
I do wish we could get the outfits of the main fighters to wear if we maxed them out...T_T

Lets be honest the game needs 2-3 times the amount of custom clothing. Atm Soulcalibur 6 has them beat by a looooong mile. Custom character creation in that game is nuts.

Yeah, such as the leather jacket which shows a shirt. Most jackets work but certain shirt types can be worn underneath, it’s over complicated but so worth it
There are a couple more clothes that you didn’t show unfortunately

@@thekillercritic3616 besides Ryu gear I haven’t seen much classics clothing. I can see them having more of this for sure. The clothing options are pretty mid at the moment imo.
Not terrible but they need more. Also some gear you can only acquire from fighting strong fighters that are marked gold on map.

How Can You Get Ryu Karate GI Outfit
You have to acquire a set of judo gear in order to travel to france, maybe that's pretty close, if you can find the headband.
@@Danceofmasks update: i got the karate gi, the only way to get it is to Ryu's Master spar with Ryu and beat him with super art like shinku hadoken.

So.....are you able to wear more than one head piece? Or is one just it? Like you can't wear the cat ear head band with any other head piece? Just to be clear, NOT accessories.

Pretty sure, there’s usually other clothes you can dye orange with enough dyes, could be wrong tho
