Same, i've had the melody for the first level stuck in my head for YEARS, i just couldn't remember what game it was, i knew it was a daffy game but all i had was a very vague memory of the game and Daffy Duck goes to Hollywood for the Game Gear 😂 today i finally found the darn game.
Ah, back then there were actual differences in visuals and gameplay between home and handheld consoles. Miss those days. Evolution in gaming is awesome and all but it's a double edged sword to me. This ending is better than its SNES counterpart. Great homage to the Duck Dodgers short cartoon ending.
I remember there being cheat codes for this game that would give you alternate weapons. There was one that gave you huge bullets, one that made you fire short bursts of bullets, even a straight firing laser beam. Good stuff.
I don't think that was actually cheat codes, but more like feature when you had enough points to exchange them (it was in the manual if i remember correctly)
@@alexiskmt It's been 25 since I played it, but if I remember correctly It was when you jumped over the ending in first stage. You would be taken to some hardcore levels, that your have to get absolute control over your jetpack to finish. I don't have the original game anymore to try it out, but I will try to access them via emulator and record, because I could not find any video on youtube of them.
That Bass tho from first Level is sick :D I remember back... I had my Gameboy connected to my first active Subwoofer the heights were not so concise...(up-to200hz) playing duffy duck on gameboy with subwoofer (no other speakers) was awesome, like a Bass test :D Nice Memory.
This game was really challenging, more than that, it's even unfair in several aspects, I liked the mechanics of the Jetpack, it makes the game more original and less generic, if it were not for the first thing I mentioned it would be a game recommended for its music and well achieved character aspects, a real shame.
Me and my friend would play this for hours as 8 year olds and we couldn't even pass the first level They made the jetpack so crappy and the guns bullets just drop immediately wtf kinda crazy gravity is on that planet
The game about two bumbling idiots fighting over the fate of the earth: Daffy Duck; savior of mankind and Marvin the Martian, hero of Mars. My first introduction of this game is a very glitchy TAS. 18:28 Joke Boss and Seizure
this was one of the only games I had on my gameboy and i still remember it frustrating me to no end
Same. It was really hard.
I played that game when i was 6 now...25 years later and that melody still stuck in my head for decades 😕

Love this game. Played a lot in my Classic Game Boy. I still remembered when I dominated the jetpack and was able to finind the secret levels.
Where are those secret levels?

I loved all the Looney Tunes related games from Sunsoft for Gameboy and SNES. They were so good. But this one was hard asf.
Duck Dodgers to the rescue
Ahhh, good memories
THIS IS MY FIRST EVER GAME BOY GAME

This game used to give me so much trouble. You obliterated it.

The jump at 11:05 always got me.
