- Dad's diwali gift: Indian family saves train journey Mumbai to Jaipur.
Dad' first diwali in India and we spent it in Mumbai at Juhu beach. Dad tries all kinds of Indian foods and we're supposed to make a train journey from Mumbai to Jaipur. Unfortunately this fails and Dad's diwali gift comes when an Indian family saves the day. Indian hospitality is truly unrivaled and this Indian family truly gave dad's best diwali gift by letting us on their train journey from Mumbai to Jaipur.

Travel Vlog Iv is a travel and food video channel. I'm Ivana, nice to meet you! You'll find travel and food videos on this channel because I like to take you along while exploring the world. These videos hopefully make you excited to travel and eat food around the world as well. There's such a joy in getting out of your comfort zone and growing as human being by traveling to new places and eating delicious food you've never tasted before.
I'm currently based in Bangalore because India is my favourite country in the world. Travel in India is kind of my thing but I've been al over the world. Just check these playlists to begin your journey with me: bit.ly/2l4sMk4
FAQ's:
Q Where are you from?
A I am born in former Yugoslavia. Mom is Serbian, Dad is Bosnian. During the '90's war we came to the Netherlands and I got Dutch nationality. I've lived in Amsterdam for 8 years but lost my heart to India. Since 2018 I'm based in Bangalore. See this video for my refugee story: bit.ly/2l17T9h
Q How can you afford to travel so much?
A I saved for 3 years while working full time and now travel vlogging is my job. I work together with tourism agencies but also do some freelance work on the side. You can watch this video: • HOW TO TRAVEL THE WORL... and this one: • HOW TO SAVE MONEY FOR ... to learn more about my story.
Q What camera do you film with and what editing software do you use?
A Canon G7X Mark II and Final Cut Pro X
Q (Why) Are you vegetarian?
A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-)
Q Why do you usually travel alone?
A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own.
Q Why do you love India so much?
A Watch this video: bit.ly/2iyUKkc and this one: • WHY I LOVE INDIA - 6 M... - Розваги

Fact 101: A gujju/marwadi family has more variety of food with them than the whole entire train pantry car has. 😂😂😂
More than whole Europe.

Wow! I'm currently planning my trip to India in February, and I never thought about taking a train. Flying is so cheap in India, I wanted to go by plane to Jodhpur. But now I started to rethink my plans. :)
Oooh but the train is so much fun! You have to take at least one train journey
Always travel in ac 3rd or ac 2nd in indian trains. You will meet middle class PPL in trains in these classes and you will have good times .
In flights you won't get chance to interact with good local PPL .
February will not be good time if you want to travel in Himalayan heights
Its a friendly advice that if you have a tight traveling schedule then plan train travels in India vicely as trains here tend to delay normally by 2-3 hours and in worst cases it can have a delay of 10 hours due to bad weather conditions
@@gurubhai3139 worst case happens only between December 20 to January 25 because of fogs .
Trains timing and food improved a lot under BJP .if Congress comes in power next year there will be mess again
@@ayushkumar-bg1xf yes agreed worst case happens during extreme winter and rainy seasons. I advised this person so that such situations doesn't ruin his travel experience.
Regarding your political statement I respect your opinion but I don't think every comment section is meant for such discussions, especially comment sections of foreign travelers as they will be least interested in politics of any other country.

Its amazing how a dutch lady has only appreciation for Indians and India. Yeah, we are not perfect and yeah we have poverty and issues but which country is perfect? Sad to see many Indians considering India as a hell hole and would prefer to migrate to European countries. Thanks Ivana for appreciating India and Indians 😁
Thank you, kind soul! Human beings don't have to be constantly reminded about the negatives found in this world but it is most important to be remind of the good, the beauty & the love the prevails, is resilient, given freely among us regardless of the negatives. Show kindness, love & appreciation at every opportunity it is invaluable in this world! :●}
uma sasidharan.. shut up looking for praise!!
Most of the Indians who migrate to other countries love India probably more than you do. They migrate for better life, actually they are not migrating, they are there for work and earning money. They are always connected with the grass roots in India, they marry Indian Spouse. Nobody considers India as a hell hole, and even to use those words for India though about others, you still have to know a lot about our own country and people.
@@srinichennareddy As an Indian Expat in Germany Am completely in sync with you. Needless to say the Indian migrants work twice hard than locals and send billions of USD home. They actually help our economy more than you think @uma Sasidharan .

Indian culture is Hindu culture. There is no distinction. All these supposedly separate religions mentioned above (except the Abrahamic ones) are all children of Sanatana Dharma. We should stop acquiescing to a nauseous PC culture imposed on us by a deracinated westernized 'liberal' elite that keeps telling us how to think and act through the media and textbooks, and start owning who we truly are -- the cradle as well as much of the adult life of human civilization that practised and perfected it for several millennia.
Yes hindu is the right word.
Sikhs, jains, budhism etc except abrahamic religions.

You know, some times this happens when we feel a kind of great attachment with strangers we meet and because of their good gestures.
Some times strangers can come very close to our hearts.
And that's why i like travelling in trains cause this mode of transport is the only one where we can become friends with strangers.
with 99.50% of likes out of so many views you know how much this particular vlog is appreciated..trust me ivana its so normal for us to respect the guest and taking utmost care for them..i knw ur overwhelmed by all this but this is India..and its much more than that u ll experience in future...like i said before India changes you from within..it teaches you thing called “Life”!!
These thing are normal here in India whenever we travel we help each other in adjusting seats etc when it's RAC or in waiting list
We do this because we always look on with the perspective of that person who is in trouble so we understand their feeling and we also assume that we also can be in that similar situation next time we travel.... Ivana only thing you have to do is help if u find anyone who is in a similar situation you were today

@@IvanaPerkovicOfficial we adjust with Travellers during train journeys in many ways besides exchanging lower berths to upper, etc. but, It wud have been tuf for a single male Indian to get this sharing of berth due to security and obvious reasons. But foreign tourists have better chance to get this help.... Learn some Hindi words for better communication wid locals....
