- Hi there! This is an easy and delicious dish to accompany the steamed rice. It cooks in a few minutes and will please anyone who loves mussels. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 lbs of green New Zealand mussels, thawed
1 bunch of fresh basil
3-4 stalks of green onion, cut into 3-inch pieces
6-8 garlic cloves, minced
4 tbs of fish sauce
2 tbs of dark soy sauce or Vietnamese caramel
1 tbs of sugar
1 tbs of dried pepper flakes

I usually put a little more sugar into the sauce. So the fish sauce doesn't taste too salty.Was the flavor of the dish just right?
