Live show at Dakota Bar in Monterrey, Mexico January 19th 2018 Dany 17 (Lead Voice, Guitar), Pau 15 (Drummer, Voice), Ale 13 (Bass, Voice)
Lyrics:
You all act so innocent
You trick our minds to give in
Into your life of sin
You all play your little games
You try to act and to pretend
But we know you've killed lovers
And betrayed friends
Tears running down our face
All of your words were always staged
And you were always fake
You were never nice to us
Your lies were never good enough
Like fools we trusted you
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
You left and you killed what we had
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
Don't come close 'cause you stabbed us in our backs
When you're all alone with no one to hold
Don't come near 'cause we won't be here
You left us lost when we gave you our trust
You left 'cause you chose them over us
You just waste your time
We make amends and then we fight
Silently you start to lie
This has become a war
And you won't stop until we fall
Until we're all gone
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
You left and you killed what we had
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
Don't come close 'cause you stabbed us in our backs
When you're all alone with no one to hold
Don't come near 'cause we won't be here
You left us lost when we gave you our trust
You left 'cause you chose them over us
It's unmendable
For better or for worse you'll
Get what you deserve
It's unmendable
For better or for worse you'll
Get what you deserve
It's unmendable
For better or for worse you'll
Get what you deserve
It's unmendable
For better or for worse you'll
Get what you deserve
When you're all alone with no one to hold
Don't come near 'cause we won't be here
You left us lost when we gave you our trust
You left 'cause you chose them over us
It's unmendable
For better or for worse you'll
Get what you deserve
It's unmendable
For better or for worse you'll
Get what you deserve

The version they did at the 2017 TEDx performance was jaw-dropping and there was a Pau-cam! Pau looked like Animal from the Muppets, with a helicopter ponytail. My favorite song.
actually I never see Pau smash the drums at that level in that performace, that day she have a lot of angry lol
I wanted for Scotty to react to the entire University of Nevada TEDx, but since thats the first of the three songs, well, either listen it again or skip it, but that show could not be missed (do you read me Uncle Scotty?) 😂
@@syrius1 - of course listen to it !! Listen to everything you can start to end !!
Agreed. The Ted talk version is the best of this song.
I second that! This song is a real highlight for Pau. So many people miss the fact this song highlights the drums like no other song they do.
That poor crash is like "please make it stop!" 😂
In the middle of this song, Pau reaches out to rescue her cymbals. Doesn’t miss a beat. ❤
This is off XXI century blood, their first album, written and recorded when Ale was in 4th grade.
Unmendable is one of my absolute favorites and a reason why watching that 2017 TedX is recommended. It is one of those songs that blows minds because they wrote this when they were barely teens. Incredible! Great reaction!
Thanks for the kind words. Great tune, agreed!
Great reaction to a great song. I recommend Wild Fire from the same recital, Dany's final scream is all that's good...
⚡🤘⚡🤘⚡🤘
The entire Dakota Bar show is excellent. You’ll see songs performed there that haven’t made the set list since.
Made, old timer. ✌🏻
@@blaineoshaughnessy685 Fixed it for ya, fellow old timer.
Fun fact Drumeo awarded Pau "Rock Drummer of the Year" for 2023. She also won an award from Modern Drummer for "Up and Coming" when she was 18. Can't wait to see Dany on the cover of Guitar World and Ale on the cover Bass Player. #GetWarned ⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘
They opened the 2017 ted talk with this one. They shocked & awed right out of the gate! They did one in 2016 as well. The 2017 Ted Talk is absolutely mind blowing. That 2nd one is the reason I am here, as it is responsible for hooking me, especially the last song. 🤯The huge difference 1 single year makes between these is insane. 3 songs each, with short talks between songs. Please check out both of them. Thanks, from another old dust magnet. 🤘
Dust magnet... love it! :)
Damn this is an explosive song. There are many good live versions. The one from the TEDx talks is probably the one that made more fans than any other single video. Sure the early Enter Sandman cover went viral, but it wasn't until the TEDx, especially the 2017 performance that we really got a full sense of what the girls were all about. Because they told us in their own words. If you have not seen that one I think that should be your next assignment. It's the quickest 20 minutes you'll ever spend. You will come away with a love for these sisters that you would never have thought possible for people you've never met. Then you can go back to individual songs with a new appreciation.
On my list. Lots of recommendations for that session
Ale is 13 here. Just go by the year - Dany was born in 2000, so, 2018 = her being 18, Pau two years younger at 16 and Ale five years younger at 13. So, you can tell their ages quickly by the year. Of course, with Ale's birthday in December while Dany's is end of January and Pau's is early February so, there's a couple of months when that math doesn't quite work. However, it's a safe rule of thumb.
The second TedX talk where they played Unmendable, When I’m Alone and Survive is required viewing, in part because they all talk in between songs about their own journey. Pau’s work on Unmendable is much more in your face during that performance. That show is the one that sent many TWA down the rabbit hole, including myself.
The second TedX was also the performance where Pau coined the phrase “You have been warned” for the first time.
LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
One of those moments, "What the hell am I looking at?". The young Warning made me see what a band could be, different from all the others in my life (and I've mixed many).
That was the performance that made me enlist in The Warning Army!
@@Robertsmith-dy3sh same!
everyone needs to watch that whole show in one seating
Look for the video ERRORS of the "ERROR" Tour, a lot of fun. Ale once tripped and fell backwards onto the stage, sat up until someone helped her up and never missed a beat. That's dedication.
I 1st tripped over TW when they were doing Muse covers and said, "Hey they're pretty good!" But what hooked me was Survive from the Ted Talk, 2nd one I believe. I've seen them live twice in Chicago at a small venue. Lemme tell ya, my chest hurt afterwards. Incredible sound!
These lyrics are dark as F*CK!
Not only are they VERY talented, but they are TINY!! Pau is 5' on a tall day, Dany is 5'4", and Ale is the "giant" at 5'6"...and that is now a days. I like the way you compared their off stage shenanigans as a "slumber party"....so different!
... on a tall day, LOL.
This song is one of his first compositions, but it is a great song.
This concert was January 2018, so Ale was 13, Pau was 15, and Dany was 17 (for a few more days).
Absolutely EPIC live performance!!
These sisters are oveerwhelmingly talented!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Their three part harmonies are one of their super powers. Their voices blend so well and make a magical sound
You'll never run out of Warning content. There's performance footage from their rehearsal space, hotel lobbies, Harley dealerships, clubs, tennis tournaments, their elementary school, 2 Ted talks, Mexican daytime TV, Hallowe'en, opening for other bands, headlining their own shows, behind the scenes, etc.
p.s , S!CK and Evolve were filmed with iPhones.
Who says you can't rock n roll in a butterfly shirt? The bass Ale is playing is one of two gifted to her by Thomas Illgen, a fellow bass player and family friend. The guitar Dany is playing is one of two Rick Toone "Spearfish" guitars. Ale is 13, Pau 16.
not to disparage PRS, but the Spearfish has a metallic tone that fits some songs so well.
Every time a video from here gets played it causes a weather disturbation somewhere in the world. I think it is called The Dany effect.
@@TeemarkConvair I love the sound of that guitar.
Like I always say. Pau beats those drums like they owe her money. I hope you get to "You've been Warned at TedX Talk" show real soon. It is a Crowd pleaser. Also, I have been considering suing you as your image of the Old Man is me, lmao.
Check out Ted Talks University at Nevada
Telephone?! Damn you ARE old! ….. me too. We had a party line and rotary dial cuz dad was too cheap to pay extra 😂
And dad didn't get a data plan.
There are few things in life that give me more joy than watching Pau play drums. She is incredibly entertaining (and talented). That can be said for all three of them as well. I’ve only been aware of them for a year now, but it has completely revitalized my interest in music. They are amazing! ❤
Thanks for your journey down this rabbit hole, I’m enjoying the ride with you.
Unmendable ,de los primeros temas de The Warning ,un tema de rock puro ,excelente riff y un enorme solo de la mejor baterista de rock 2023 Paulina
The Dakota Bar show is fantastic, Exterminated is a personal favorite from that set.
Whatever you choose I’ll be here ❤️👍🏼
That's awesome. Thanks so much! We'll see you then!
I don't know when they started doing this but their more recent work is recorded in 4K, even live shows. Really professional stuff.
The Warning has so much content out there for you to discover, they have documented everything they have done since the very beginning so it is awesome to be able to go back and grow with them!
Danny reminds me of Chrisy Hines of the Prentenders here.🤘😎⚠️
Wow. They must have just been 20, 18, and 15 when this was done. Amazing.
Minus 2 years my friend
The current year is Dany's age. Minus 2 for Pau. Minus 5 for Ale. This is briefly inaccurate approaching and just after the New Year.
Getting older to me also means I'm not growing hair where it should grow (e.g., head), but it is growing where it is totally unneeded (e.g. ears). 🤨
very true :)
Dany is the only one I know of, who can look cool and rock out in a tee with butterflies on it.
they rock
Their performance of this song at TedX Talks in 2017 is better quality video and cuts in with a view of Pau doing her solo!!
💯%TWA THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS AWESOME FAMILY.. 🤘🎶☮️
Many of us call this concert The Butterfly Concert.(Dany's shirt) Did you notice at 4:24 Pau was dragging her cymbal stand back toward her, probably because it was trying to escape the beating she was giving it!
Unmendable! Thank you. Un tema que escucho casi a diario! Las preciosas armonías son uno de los puntos fuertes de DPA. Gracias por seguir con The Warning y gracias por las reflexiones acerca de la edad y sus ineludibles cambios 😂
Excelemt my friemd!
Congratulations on 1K + subscribers! One of the really fun things about being part of TWA is watching a new reactor find TWA. Your reaction to Unmendable was great and I have to smile knowing you have only seen the beginning of this show and the songs coming up just get better and you will marvel at the talent of these ladies. Shattered Heart, Runaway are two songs that still amaze me and at 71 are equal to some of the greatest rock songs I have ever heard. Enjoy 🤘🔥
Thx! It is a bit crazy.... 1k subs in a week! TWA has really brought it for me and I won't let them down! :)
Scotty, it's really great someone suggested a song from this Dakota concert, great concert. I'm telling you man, they don't have a bad song. Every song, according to the timeline, is good or great, cheers.
My 'to-do' list keeps growing!
Awesome Brother !!! I am watching this as you posted it.... May I suggest The Warning Tedx Talks (universirity of Nevada) .. 2017.. They were invited to play and give a "TedX" talk.... This song was 1 of 3 they performed and in between spoke of the journey that is now Greatness !! about a 20 min look... but a look You will not regret !!! Cheers!!! D.P.A. !!!
Thanks for the kind words. The Ted talks stuff is definitely on the ever-lengthening list!!!
The performance of this song during their 2017 TedX Talk has much better audio and video wise.
Great reactions! Please shift back a few seconds after every pause to ensure you don't miss important moments or transitions.
Thanks for the tip!
YA NO VAS HA PARAR DE ESCUCHAR THE WARNING 😎🤘🤣
Just heads up before you do any from Lunario they should be Done in a specific order on account of it being a full play through of the concept album Queen Of The Murder Scene. It starts with the prologue song Dust To Dust.
It's so funny Ale outgrew her sisters.
It's an important event on your way to old age when you get taller than your bass amp. You'll appreciate it when you review the Liceo video(s). On the subject of your pantless avatar, we had an old guy down the road who would appear this way in the winter (Canada). After they took away his driving license, he drove his tractor around the neighbourhood. But, the good times ended when he took to carrying his shotgun and threatening the neighbours. We all have that to look forward to.
I hope you find that pantless avatar funny. I sure did! :)
@@RockandRollRelicI did, because I see the future and it's not far away.
Now you’ll need to react to Copper Bullets at the Dakota Bar…song they wrote about a toxic relationship which led to murder and suicide. You know the typical stuff young teens write about at 16 years old and less 😉.
Murder/suicide is a fun theme for teenyboppers.
Hei, Scott! You are very busy these days, eh? 😂 Thanks for the great reaction. Love this song.
Edit: Scott (not Scotty 😅).
Scott... Scotty... it's all good! And you're right - I AM very busy!! :)
You so need to check out their TEDX stuff. Just incredible to see their performances from way back when. "Survive", one of the greatest outros ever!!! ❤ ua-cam.com/video/pj5ue3M-v6o/v-deo.html
& Foro DiDi, & Whiskey A GoGo, & TEDx, & Mercury lounge and Pepsi Center &….. well, you get the idea 🤣
Incredible - these young women have the experience and confidence and swagger of a band twice their age - big thanks are due to their parents, who brought them up with music, who encouraged and supported them all the way . . .
I'd never heard this track before - thanks to whoever suggested it - I'll be checking out this whole concert.
Keep it up, young man - never too old to rock!
Aloha! Fun Fact: Dany was born in 2000, so what ever year a video was recorded in...that's her age. Then subtract 2 and that's Pau's age; then sub 3 yrs from Pau and that's Ale's age.
Another gem hell ya!!! 🤘🏻
I think is time to go for TedEx 2017, you will understand better to TW (3 x songs)
I think the best version is in whisky a gogo in 2020 ua-cam.com/video/VEnnwOpRYzc/v-deo.html but in manyaspects the dakota bar is a banger
It's january 2018 so Dany we'll be 18 few days later Pau 16 the next february and Ale 13
They have been 3-part harmonizing since the beginning.
awesome! i hope you´ll continue with this show 🤟
Thanks for the tip on this song!
@@RockandRollRelic the whole show is a must!
And don`t forget that is THEIR composition...At this age.
There are several RIDICULOUS drum parts on this record!!!! So many great rhythms, and fills.
A song like S!CK ( cool spelling) and MORE are awesome, but she reels it in. Plays only what the song needs🤘 ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Hard rock/metal music and butterfly tank top…that’s Dany!
Like The Warning much? Yeah us too LOL.
Yesterday I forgot to subscribe to your channel, and I fixed that right now. If you can react to the “Queen Of The Murder Scene” in order, because is a concept album, every song by its own is great to react but if you can do it as a whole or react to the songs in the order they come, I think it’ll be better so you can get caught in the whole story the album tells. Gracias!!!
Thx for the sub! It's on my ever-lengthening list!! :)

Regarding your last comment......it's like a bar of soap. The more you use it, the smaller it gets.
The warning sucksssss
Oh, shame on me. I almost forgot to mention ….The Butterfly Effect! 🤟🎸🫶
