For the Hit Like A Girl drum competition, Pau was a judge for the season and Faith was the previous years winner. It was just for fun kinda thing. If I'm not mistaken this is Faith's song and Pau had to learn her part and join her.
Let's get you sorted out on the information. This was 2018. Faith Benson won the International Hit Like a Girl Competition in 2017 for her category. Paulina wanted to enter a year or 2 earlier but was too nervous. The Hit Like a Girl committee actually contacted her in 2018 and asked her to be a judge (that is how much respect they had for the then 16 year old Paulina). They also asked her to be the face of the 2018 competition! This was basically doing an exhibition, she was learning Faith’s piece on the fly and putting her own spin on it. Faith is more technical to me possibly more of a Jazz drummer. Pau as we know is an emotional person who it comes out of in her drumming, I thought that Pau’s contribution had more ‘dimension’ to it, exploring more possibilities within the basic theme. To me Pau killed it!

I've always loved how to play Faith, her technic is incredible! ❤ She plays just what she have to play, and Pau from the other side, sometimes i think she just overplay and she exaggerate, but she's incredible too! Both are incredible here; but Faith won definitely! ❤
@@setonhillstudios I got all excited and went to check them out. It was kind of like Neil Peart sitting in with a Disney pop band. I'd love to see her with musicians on her level. Angelina Bakuta from Exigent is one to check out.
Faith is more technical with her technique, Pau is more expressive and dynamic. I love how Pau utilizes accents on her pattens making it sound more complex and adds more feeling to the beats she plays. I think Faith would be a better jazz player, Pau is the Drumeo Drummer of the Year so can’t argue that when it comes to rock, she definitely owns it!!!!
