Retrieval of effortfully encoded and stored information is the final and the most crucial step in the process of memory formation. This video on Memory Retrieval discusses the topic in detail covering the:
    Types of Retrieval:
    🚩 Recall
    🚩 Recognition
    🚩 Relearning
    Types of Recall:
    💡Serial Recall
    💡Free Recall
    💡Cued Recall
    Types of Retrieval Interference:
    ⭐ Proactive Interference
    ⭐ Retroactive Interference
Note: The part on Relearning was cut short in the video due to technical glitch. To learn more about Relearning check out this link: pressbooks.online.ucf.edu/lum...

sorry. it is too much into categorizations and definitions, and in doing so it relieves me from the task of really understanding the primal reason of creating such a category. In repeating the conclusions of others you do not recover their experience. Strict schematic explanations, enriched with examples, do not encourage our natural curiosity and do not exploit our previous empirical knowledge of the fact. It seems more like the index of a book. Could we even get rid of that?

Thank you for your feedback. The goal of these videos are to have an introductory tone with an aim to cover the fundamentals and basics in order to allow our audience build on them to fully understand more complex concepts and empirical research that we plan to cover in our future videos. We do acknowledge that not all viewers might need an introduction as they could be trained in those fields.
