Hey, thanks for checking out the video! It's been a while, but last I remembered, I used the AVID MBox Mini, and I was using Reason 6.5 at the time. A little boost of low end with one of the equalizers on my DAW and that was it. The BassMods preamp I used was very bright, so there wasn't much to do from the onboard preamp other than boost the highs just a tad. Super simple!
Are these the Bartolini Brights or Deep Tone Pickups? Sounds Amazing!

These are actually the Bart Deep Tone pickups. I found that the brights, while they cut through everything, were a bit too bright for my personal taste. And they also compliment the BassMods preamp by giving it a little more bottom to the fundamental tone, while adding that low midrange growl that only comes from Bartolini's

@@holdencaustic haha, thanks man! Yep, this was Bart Pickups and the older BassMods preamp. They have since then upgraded that preamp...maybe even twice, not sure. But definitely check them out!

@@redd6399 In this video, I'm using DR Hi Beams, which have been my favorite for quite some time. I recently started using Marcus Miller's Dunlop strings and I'm very impressed. With this BassMods and my Lakland, the 35" neck can sometimes make it difficult to find standard strings that are long enough to cover the entire fretboard, especially the B and E strings. But Dunlop's do quite well in that aspect. Check em out!

Playing with M2 is like going to school everyday...truly a learning master of this instrument. And I use the term 'learning master' because he's already reached a level of mastery on the instrument, yet continues to push, learn and grow. It's what separates the 'greats' from the 'good.' Definitely something I strive to do!

@@KingShadStarSeed9 man, it's been way too long of a reply, so my apologies! This is actually a prototype from a company called NeoTech. The model in production is called the 'Mega Strap.' It's made with a memory foam type of material, and distributes the weight of the bass very well around the rest of the body due to the size of the strap. When I'm not on the road, I'm playing 6 sets a night 5 nights a week, and because of this strap, I can stand throughout the entire night, where as, if I had any other strap, I wouldn't be able to hang, especially with this bass that weighs around 10lbs.
