I think they played it tight to the chest and didn't show tooo much, likely another trailer at some point. I am most excited for the new armor as the fashion was great in the base game except if you wanted to make a poise optimized build. I am liking the esthetic of Messmer as well.
In general I don't really get excited about trailers and stuff anymore until I am actually playing it as the videogame industry as beaten that outta of me years ago. The last time I ever had my hype exploited I pre-ordered Evolve season pass.

Am I the only one who can't stand Vaati? His tone immediately puts me off, plus his whole "prepare to cry" thing just rubs me the wrong way. Like he's saying he's gonna hit you with the real stuff, but I just find him more condescending than anything else.
I don't like hate him but he has gotten tons of shit wrong so it's weird people hold him to a godlike degree where his word is law on the interpretation of the story when in my mind he's just making good quality asmr. I've also heard some weird things about him and his discord that's digging all this stuff up but it's all conjecture anyways.
I didn't mind him before Elden Ring, but my god his Elden Ring videos are so bad lol. IG hes been around for over a decade so thats why ppl like him.
Vaati was way cooler when he started in his dark souls videos. Content made from the passion of a fan. That was really cool. Now there's too much merch and looks like a business Chanel.

In the spanish souls community, there are also some content creators who are legendary and loved because of how much time they have been making content, but some of them have pretty mid content nowadays that is just made to have as many views as possible, like the "top 10 best weapons" videos every fucking week. "Legends" need to fuck up really bad to stop being considered good.
I don't watch Vaati lore videos, but that probably has also happened to him. He IS the lore guy, and that won't change until he, idk, murders someone or something like that, lol, his reputation is immaculate
@@rayzu4380 PowerBazinga definitely comes to mind. His videos pre-Dark Souls 3 were fantastic, and even some of them early on. But he started to feel painfully generic to me.
I'm glad I'm not a Souls content creator. The burnout of creating content only leads to feeling tired of the things you enjoy. At that point you see the games less as an art and more like post ideas to get engagement.
The only Loopine videos I click on are ones with boobies, or Loopine pog facing in the thumbnail.
Everything else is not worth my time, by decree of the UA-cam stock market.
