Coming along nicely. I have always loved this era of Brave. Nothing looks like them and check those nostalgia boxes.

    Love it! I have a '72 Brave also. D20RD with 413.

Mine started with a 413 but a previous owner put the 440 in it. It geared so low I'm not sure it makes much of a difference!

Inspiring! I think I need the orange shag up front in my 72 Brave as well. Still driving it to Maine x-country from an airport hangar in Monterey, CA. I adore this thing! Stopped for 2 days in Iowa for a new ignition coil, but it's running like a champ. Yours looks fabulous. :)

Thanks! Wow what an initial journey for yours!! Yeah it's good to have an
Ignition coil, ignition module, ballast resistor, and fuel filter on hand!

@@1moorekevina What I didn't mention was that tornadoes were forming right over the field on I-80 while we waited for the AAA guy! Tell you what, I want a spare EVERYthing from now on! lol

How did you find your Brave? Anywhere else I can check besides eBay and Craigslist?

I think I actually found mine on Facebook marketplace! If you're not in a rush they're actually fairly easy to come by you just have to keep looking every few days and they pop up!

Can you make a video about how you installed the seatbelts? Seems like there’s a lot of disagreement about how to safely install them-I see you installed a three point system? What fasteners did you use when you connected them to the wall? Is that wall portion connected to the frame? Thanks!

Quick question: did you replace the original wood paneling or paint it? Love how it looks!

Sanded it with 220 grit and painted. It was all in good shape so I was able to go that route

@@1moorekevina Awesome. You've given me the courage to go for it! I was checking out all the interior walls last night, and they're in perfect shape minus some small scuffs, so I'm doin' it! Thanks for posting, means a ton to this noobie. :)
