Let us know what you think of this old classic.. Can it be saved? Subscribe so you don't miss out on the next vid!
My great aunt has one sitting in her yard, last registered in 1997 it’s. 73 Winnebago. I really want to check it out more closely
@@Tamara-id1pe For sure! These old Winnie's are getting pretty popular!
@@RobStapleton my husband thinks I’m bat shit crazy and wants nothing to do with my plan to pull her out and bring her back to life 😂
It CAN be saved, but I think it'll take a LOT of work, and you might have to do a complete teardown, and rebuild--salvage what you can, though!
In case you haven't noticed, I have a soft spot for Winnebagos,(we had one when I was little--my Mom even painted Snoopy on the side)!
We sure played a lot of connect four!
You guys are fun to watch, lol. You should have your own TV show, both of you are funny and have great personality and positive attitudes. I'm restoring a 1977 Winnebago Brave right now, very similar to yours! Keep up the awesome work on the D20(?) suspension and I can't wait to see the plans for the interior on this one!
Thanks so much! You wouldn't believe how much of the funny stuff I have to cut out just keep it around 20 minutes... Every time we shoot a video I say that I want to keep it around 8 minutes lol.
I bolted a tow bar to the front bumper & pulled it home with a 1/2 ton chevy. Just don't go over 45 mph.
Ryan pulled one home like that with his Dodge Ram!
Going to love checking this out. YOU GOT SOME SACK! Slay it...
we got a 72brave d20 that had been sitting for 12years and the people who we bought it from were living in it with a dog and a cat for the 6months they had it, so it was gross inside but not this gross, and luckily our roof was in amazing shape, no leaks and no body damage(a few scratches but no dents/dings) and the chassis n bumpers were straight/rustfree also...i think we scored considering we traded our 86jeep cherokee sport straight across for it. its been a lot of work and an adventure to get it to our livability standards but we have been doing it for over a year now, and have love most of our time in it :)
Very cool! These old Winnie's are getting pretty popular!
You two crack me up 😆
Haha thanks! We try to have fun!
Cool to see where it all started for the Winnie.
This is a completely different Winni. This is Older and longer than the one I'm putting hydros in
@@DemonMotorsports1 well damn 😂
I had winnebgoe efore the brave came out. Loved it
On!y had 318 engine. Had numbers also
It would be cool to find a data base for the numbers.
Got a 72 Brave being renovated in Maryland at Ken-Do's as I speak. Thanks for the vids!
Thanks for watching! Hopefully we'll have another vid on this Winnie soon.
She is a beauty♥️
need help!! I purchased a 1977 itasca Winnie and idk what I'm doing!! Having issues with the plumbing and need to figure out how to winterize it. Every plumber, mechanic and rv center won't touch it because it's older...
Awesom
I just got a 1973 winnebago chieftain D24c
Where is this?
Crystal River, FL
@@RobStapleton Thank you! My brother and I were trying to figure it out, based on your accents, and the landscape!👍
I'm surprised that they don't open up the windows 🌬️🍃 and let fresh air in while they are going through all the junk.
Probably a lot of mold after twenty years.
Super clean needs a razor for that thing on his chin everything else is great it's a Mopar mean old Plymouth's are rad God bless from Canada eh IT will run if you know what you are doing dump a bunch of MMO in the engine and you will be good to go!
I've got a 1975 Winnebago brave and I was hooking up my batteries and when I was hooking up the positive I hit the frame and it went BANG! NOW IM not getting any power when I turn the key at all ? Any ideas?
There should be a starter relay on the drivers side toward the back of the engine under the dog house. Looks like a horn relay or something. Maybe check that!
Looks like fun. Has Ryan have a winebago fetish?
Yes he does 😂 lol.
@@RobStapleton wouldve liked too see how they look like up close where i live the only time you saw a winebago is in camping books.
I just found your channel and subscribed. After watching your video I have to ask, why would you spend good money on this thing???? What are your plans for it?
This one was free so the price was right. 😀
It's in storage right now and I'm sure Ryan has some plans for it after the current Winnie project is finished.
Can’t polish a turd.. I think it’s too far gone boys. I just take my tools and get back in my truck and go home. It’s gonna start right up and drive it away.Free😊
junk but i mean that in a kind way ,its obviously worthless yet a worthy challenge for a show -
