Something interesting I found out about this song is that it samples a track called "Night on Disco Mountain", which itself a cover of the orchestral piece "Night on Bald Mountain" by Modest Mussorgsky. While it's a mostly different song now, you can still hear the original bass melody from Mussorgsky's piece. I wonder how he would react to hearing this song today.

I have no idea why they recommended to watch the video when the sound covers the actual music so much.

This song would definitely have translated better without the video unfortunately. It is a huge shame as well as Justice are the forerunners in a very unique electronic disco scene.
They have always bought a very retro French sound to their modern take on disco, it is abundantly clear on many of their tracks. The song you listened to in particular needs to be taken as part of the whole album picture for it to be understood better - this follows suit for all 4 LP's.
Do not let this experience push you away as they have produced some fantastic tracks that you would love.
Their current release is brilliant and very noticeably showcases some fresh ideas for the electronic dance genre. I remember Joel Zimmerman (DeadMau5) once saying that he engineered his tracks deliberately to be 124.5 bpm so that it made it a pain in the backside for DJ's to mix them into their sets. It sounded to me that Justice have been playing with random beat silencing on certain tracks with the new project, I don't recall hearing anything similar before & although strange initially, I now like the ingenuity.
None the less, this was a hectic track but they are legends in what they create (and generally not as abrasive).

Justice has SO many amazing songs. This one is a little bit much to start off with. I highly recommend some stuff from their 2007 album

first of all let me just say that this is in the top five greatest debut electronic albums of all time and it's not close.
secondly, the video is staged, but imo it's super realistic. filmed on 16mm too.
I think this quote from the duo is important in respect to the video:
"The film was never intended as a stigmatisation of the banlieue, nor an incitation to violence, nor above all, as an underhanded way to deliver a racist message. From the beginning, Stress was meant to be a clip unairable on television for a track unairable on the radio and we have refused any television broadcast of the clip, so as to impose it on no one."
it came under a lot of fire in 2008 when it came out for perceived racism, and I don't have the French cultural experience to know how fair those accusations are. but it was made clear that it was not meant to be, just an art piece with a view of life.
when it comes to the music itself, one thing you didn't mention is that electronica tends toward the build-drop format. this track is almost entirely build, with some near misses on the drop. as a matter of fact, it never does truly resolve.. because the next track is the drop. in a vacuum it's a little tough to frame it as complete, because it's missing important pieces of the formula, but that's where the constant Stress builds from.
I've always considered Justice to be a multimedia artist. it's not uncommon to have extravagant live shows in electronic, but some artists do more to merge the two than others and Justice is one that I feel you miss pieces if you only hear the audio. I wish there was an easy way to incorporate that type of art into casual consumption but it's still uncommon.

Good to know it's all staged -- they did a great job of making it look more realistic than your average director pulls off. I think I'll have to give this a second listen with audio only to give the music a bit more attention because the constant build is something that I think I would have picked up on. Plus I'd like to hear how the next track acts as the drop for this entire build up.

I would never pick this song from their catalog as an introduction to this band though. D.A.N.C.E is the safe choice, and a better representation of their sound

Im kind of surprise that when you find music or videos that you dont expect or dont like too much or shock you in a way, you always (maybe not) seems disapointment and annoying, instead of been amaze, curious or intellectual/sensorial attack
