- This footage is all there is on my copy, it cuts off after the first promo which means there's no interview and apparently a second promo was shown afterwards which isn't here either.
How gorgeous is this song.
Rest in peace Alan White, never forgotten.
I remember when it came out, all the guys did a solo record as did Alan here. My Brother Dane was a huge Alan White fan, perhaps slightly more than Bill Bruford by a fraction. He was a drummer and he saved every dollar he could in 1976 to buy a full set of North Drums, although he added another floor tom a year later. to see this is an omage to my late brothers' lover for drums and YES
Love this sound. Jon in full Olias mode and the quality is terrific.
Watching this is like being in a dream
I met him back stage 3 times!!
I bought this in 1975, and although I am an Alan White fan, this was the only song on Ramshackled I regularly played!
Rest in peace, Alan. Shine forever!
For anyone who's wondering, it looks like Kenny Craddock on piano, Pete Kirtley on guitar, Colin Gibson on bass and Steve Gregory on flute/glock.
And again, a truly lovely song from a wonderfully varied album of music. RIP Alan.
Beautiful track. I tear up when listening to such joyful, beutiful music. Jon sounds great as alway. RIP Alan as you were simply amazing. Steve. Rock on and you're still at it. Just a soothing few minutes of bliss to close your eyes and drift back to a more peaceful time in our lives. Well done by all. Loved it!
We needed more of Alan, this is just sweet
Thanks for the precious rare video of this beautiful song which has been with me since it was out. It's really a pity that a lot of great songs just go unknown and unappreciated by the general listeners. Very few people would bother to pay attention to tracks on a solo album by a drummer. I still keep the original LP in perfect shape on my record shelves in a far-away island country named Taiwan.
This just looks like a thoroughly pleasant place to be.
Gracias por tu arte Alan, desde la otra punta del globo. te vamos a extrañar.
sad news today. Alan pasa away. Thank Alan for your energy and sound y the music. Love and peace forever. God bless your very Kind soul.
A real jewel, incredible video!
that music transports you to another time that was happier 🤔😞
wow !! the drums of Alan is my desire object..the design is incredible !!
Such a great song I haven't heard in a long time. Need to get it out and play again!
