💧for those who made it to the very end! Fun fact // Products that feature the "nakey" word is not algorithm friendly! *So be a real one and help keep this video out of the shadow realm with a LIKE!*
youre like the only beauty influencer that ive seen doesnt use a filter or "camera" to change the way their skin texture appears on camera. when i see the skin test or upclose i can see how the foundation will work and i appreciate so much how you show how it truly looks without filtering your skin. thank you!!!! this is a realllllll review!!
Wherever I see someone using a filter (which is just about every video these days) I don't watch. How can we trust a tutorial that uses a filter to show us accurate results? It's not like we walk around in reality wearing a skin filter on our faces. False advertising. And then these "beauty gurus" want to show us how much "better" it made their skin look and people actually fall for it! 🤦 I especially cannot stand when filters are used in a skin care video for certain products that contain a before and after result! Ugh. It bothers me so much how no one can just be raw, real and go unfiltered for once. So misleading. No wonder why most are depressed these days about what their natural skin looks like
@@itsvicky2682 But you can use a coupon at target too.. Ulta will always be more expensive because of what kind of retailer they are. And they just simply CAN charge more because people still buy from there because it’s convenient, ya know?
I found it last week at Walgreens ...love it. I used $6 in store digital coupons and used $10 in rewards and got it for $4. Yep prices are getting too high on alot of the drugstore products.
I agree. It's sad how the drugstore make up is getting just as bad as high end with their prices. Pretty soon I won't be able to afford to own any make up at all 😭
1 % is a good amount for HA type foundation . When the product content with HA more than 1-1.5% then it will become too sticky and hard to blend, feels kind of like glue, and it won’t look cute on your face.
Maybe apply and blend out with fingers(CLEAN)? The sticky or tackiness could be a plus if setting with powder. I have oily skin and I live in a humid climate so I can’t go without my Fenty loose powder…lol.
L'oreal has always been higher priced than other drugstore brands. It makes sense as their products including hair care and skin care lines, are higher quality than their drug store counterparts. Their French aesthetic, packaging, advertising (Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez for spokesmodels....) are going to be costly. Let's not forget that this is the brand that owns IT Cosmetics, Lancome, Urban Decay, etc. IMO, Neutrogena and Physicians Formula are the brands' with unjustified costs.
So I was looking for reviews on the L'oreal serum, and came across you. Your vibe, and the fact that you show ur natural skin, and texture (which is so appreciated) was an instant follow for me. Price range, sephora is on crack as the only retailer selling it for 20 bucks. Target has it for 14.99. I'm def running out to buy this and try it. Thank you so much for ur honesty.
I’m sure I can find it for a cheaper price. L’Oréal is the bougie drugstore brand and their formulation for most of their complexion products is top notch. L’Oréal True Match has always been a fav of mine. It gives very much high end with how nicely it applies and makes the skin look flawless. I will give this new one a try!
TO REPLACE THE DROPPER: (I'm leaving the same comment on many videos in hopes many people can get the information.) The dropper for this tinted serum IS terrible, in my opinion, but the bottle has the standard-size neck, which means that a lot of pumps will fit it. The pump that one can buy for Estee Lauder Double Wear fits it. The one for the Lumi liquid foundation works. The pump that comes in with the Physician's Formula Spotlight Illuminating Primer fits it, too. Any pump that works with MAC Studio Fix, the discontinued Physician's Formula Healthy Foundation, or the L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable (the original True Match in the small bottle with the silver cap) will work with this L'Oreal True Match Nude Tinted Serum. So, go through your products and see if you can find a dispenser to pinch. Also, don't forget there are "foundation pumps" on Amazon that are very inexpensive (about 7 dollars for a set of 4), refillable squeeze bottles (you can easily reuse the Dior Backstage Face and Body), and my favorite, the Amazon airless pump bottles. Just be very careful dispensing, because this tinted serum is not very viscous and might splatter if you press too hard. Keep the bottle parallel to the floor as you pump and all will be well!
I hate watching MU tutorials but You are absolutely DELIGHTFUL! From one Asian to another... GO SIS!!!! Inclusion matters so much and it's hard to find good matches for our skin tones.
I found you by accident, but girl! You're amazing! I also have oily skin, I used to looove Taylor Wynn (back when she had oily skin, now after Accutane she has normal/dry, so no longer my target) and I love foundations, and you're doing so much of first impressions... Omg I'm in love! Thank you so much for your work! ❤️😍
I’m in Canada and at the priciest drugstore here it was $20.99 CAD… our prices are usually quite substantially higher than yours . They probably figured that a $30 loreal foundation just wouldn’t sell lol. AND… they only stocked 4 shades: ultra light 0.5-2, light 2-4, tan 6-8, and deep 8-10. Ooh that tan one had such a green undertone it looked khaki.
i know this video is a year old 😂 but heard you mention this in one of your recent videos so had to go back to this! found it yesterday at the store and it's now $14ish! (not $20 thank the Lord! 🙏🏻) always always always love your review videos girl! ❤ thank you! and blessings to you!
I love this tinted serum it’s the only face base that I have continued to buy it’s just really nice I’m a little older I am 35 and I think it’s it’s really nice on my skin
This shade is out of stock everywhere online 🥺 if you can find it at a wallgreens store rhey have a few loreal coupons right now. One for $2 and one for $7 off. I think I can stack coupons too
It's only expensive because y'all are shopping at Sephora and Ulta. You have to shop around and compare prices. I found it cheaper on other sites. I rarely ever depend on Ulta or Sephora because their prices are always much higher than any where else
I hate to say it. Money well spent. I usually save my points and use the percent off to pay less anyways. It feels like a normal moisturizer, lightweight, coverage is buildable, and it’s just a nice serum. If its 1% per bottle that’s absolutely nice.
Laura Mercier iconic translucent powder celestial light reminds me of a Mac loose powder I had back in the late 90s that is discontinued I still have it. It is the best. I wonder if Mercier remembered loved that powder too and recreated it in her line
Does anyone know if this serum is prone to oxidation? Some foundations turn orange after application :( And I am afraid to buy this to have the same happening. HELP
Great critique, thank you. Hold on to your hat, that L'Oréal Perfect Match Serum is $32 in Australia. All of the cosmetics and skin care are at least 50% more expensive than in the US, so I'm envious of your reasonable prices.
Hey thanks for this review girl! I was thinking about getting this foundation but I think, without the powder, it might be a bit too glowy for my oily skin. Guess I'll wait until I can try it in the store. Thanks!!
Same! I have super oily Italian skin and I've found putting on HA before my oil reducing foundations work so much better..AND you'll get way more benefits and save money from buying HA separately
what was the hydrating concealer you used in this video? is there a link? thank you for reviewing the Loreal - cant wait to try it on my oily/combo skin. gonna go check out your other videos now!
Bought it without realizing it was more expensive than the usual true match! It’s $40aud 😭😭😭 I do love it though. Probably could have got a Sephora foundation instead though haha
YOU DO NOT! Use a Sponge, when applying Any Serum Foundation! Use a brush, or ur Fingers. That Loreal serum foundation is just Beautiful! When Applied the right way. It gives a Medium Coverage and stays on, all day. Too many U-Tubers are giving out False Information on this Foundation because they are using a sponge! 😠
I barely wear makeup anymore due to Covid and working at a daycare lol no one to impress. I can’t believe how expensive drugstore makeup is becoming! Makes me sad! 😣

How did this compare to Perricone MD No Foundation Serum? It's my go-to on the daily but I'd be happy to pay $40 less! Lol

I just checked and it’s 14.99 at Target. I find a lot of times certain products are more expensive at Ulta for some reason.
Man I should've checked Target.
Came here to say that! Ulta marked it up $5 so don’t blame L’Oréal lollll I guess we pay more for the points and perks of Ulta
Amazon has it also for $14.99 but their out of shades. Hope they are able to restock soon. Save me the $5.00 that Ulta jacks up
Because of the coupon you can use

$20, has L’Oreal lost the plot? Have they forgot that they’re a drugstore brand? What’s up with them and NYX trying to over charge? 😭

Honestly depends on the store, like Walmart and target always sell it cheaper than Ulta.
I don't buy from Nyx anymore for this reason
Ulta marked it up $5.00 over other retailers that sell it
@@alicesormani5643 exactly! Nyx prices are just outrageous these days.
I bought it today and wore it. Easy to blend and looks beautiful on the skin. Definitely worth the money. My only drugstore favorite.
Do you have dry skin? (Just trying to see if it would work well on me)

I think L'oreal owns Lancone or theyre both owned by the same parent company so i think they share some of the same formulations for certain products
I love when bronzer fixes everything! ❤️

it might be called a serum but it's literally fondation, so you put fondation on top of another fondation...

My only complaint is the shade range! It’s very pink and orange and the only light shade is chalky cool pink. The next shade up is dark orange tan.
