Your words on the Microtech Socom Bravo encapsulate how I feel about a good deal of higher end knives "There is a lot I could say I like about it. But I don't know if I would actually purchased it with my own paycheck. But is it cool, yes," "Can I see the appeal, yes."
Ha, isn't that every knife that we don't actually "purchase with our paychecks" though? So many good designs out there it's hard to choose nowadays. By the way bro, I would hope you're spending your "own paycheck" who else's money would you be spending? 😄
I must have jumped the gun because I just went straight to a Microtech Ultratech. Lol Got a OD green w/ bronze HW and dagger blade. Sickest knife ever! Wish I could carry it here in Cali. But I do have 4 Cali legal ones. Two Exocets, one UTX-70 CA, and a recently acquired Mini Troodon. Those I can carry at least. No... no I don't have 1.3k worth of Microtechs. Lol
I have the Socom Bravo with the blue pivot collar and FS. It's designed after a Marfione custom, NOT the Elite. Also like the Stich. The "Anax" which is an integral and not much longer than my Malibu flipper that I'm sure you would like. The Benchmade 9400 seems like a lot better deal than the shootout but mine was only $229 (maybe old stock). After seeing your Sapphire ProTech the Newport fit my hand very well. Thanks Kaylie.
I want a Deka more than I want some like $500 knives. The new gen in clip point or whatever that is are gorgeous. From what I’ve seen they are durable too even for having no real frame to speak of. I’d take the Deka lol.
The Deka for the win… that G-mascus, mmmm. Hogue makes a solid knife. The loser? That Benchmade (as usual, only BM can make a $300 gas station knife) Knives I’ve been loving: Strelit, Cormorant, Harpoon Mini
Regarding the Deka ... how do you get around the thumb stud when sharpening? The thumb stud location is the only thing that's making me lean more towards the Bugout. I'm going to buy one or the other soon.
The Microtech is pronounced SŌW CÔM (kinda like ‘so calm’ without the L). It comes from the United States Army’s Special Operations Command, or S.O.C.O.M. Just thought I’d let you know so in the future you don’t offend any of the Special Forces (“Green Berets”) out there! 😉. Thanks for the content & love the videos! ;-}. MM
We missed you very much! So happy you're back and good to see you for the new year.
Thank you!! And happy new year!!

I love my Shootout! Though not a super hard use knife, it is probably my favorite knife I own so far. Very comfortable in hand.
My first time seeing that model from Benchmade.
@@Smokeone44 the Cruwear steel is really nice. I would definitely get another knife with that blade steel.
Very cool blades. All of them.
That Microtech,,,,,💥❤💥❤💥❤💥

Oh hey look who is lol. I ended up getting the same 20CV Deka in the wharncliffe, superblade
I loved it! It was hard to send back 🤣
I’ve always wanted a Socom Bravo but I really dislike all the branding on the blade.
You should check out a Mcnees 3.5! Amazing knives!
i got that same benchmade otf as a christmas present and i love it!
I really dig the microtech socom bravo. It’s over the top big but still would like to get one.
I have a few Hogue Dekas, they are very good knives. Scab sent me, you have a good channel. Keep up the great work!
I love Blade Ops, you can really snag some exclusive knives there!
Welcome back !!!!! Miss your expertise.
I like both of the Civivis, but the Benchmade is also nice!
Welcome Back!
@10:06….”oooooh” 😂
Glad to see you back! Great looking knives! I like all of them except the bravo just not my style! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend 👍
Happy New Year. Glad to see you back. 🎉
Have you played with a mini praxis yet?
I probably lean toward the Civivi Elementum 👌
Great review 🤗
But Cheah! I'm glad you're back! :)
The shooutout is a great introduction to OTFs for people. I know people worry about the durability, but it’s sturdier than it feels.
I must have jumped the gun because I just went straight to a Microtech Ultratech. Lol

The Ortis, because i have the exact same model. Lightweight, pretty slim, great for every day use.

you literally have a toothbrush-commercial, Oral-B model smile homegirl!! hell, i'd be 'mirin my reflection in the camera too ;)
WE makes a titanium pocket clip for the WE and Civivi two hole clips that would 100% push that elementum to the next level.
My favorite one of the bunch is the Hogue Deka, it is on my wishlist as well🤩 Keep up the good down to earth content👌🔪😃
I was literally just wondering where you went. Lol.
Nice video!
Cool hat
Im getting the Deka soon.. it will be the first houge I've owned..
Thank you for you starting a knife channel and not seeing chunky man hands. haha

I have the exact Hogue Deca as that one. I'm not very happy with the edge retention on it.
Regarding the Deka ... how do you get around the thumb stud when sharpening? The thumb stud location is the only thing that's making me lean more towards the Bugout. I'm going to buy one or the other soon.
I removed them for sharpening.
What do you think about Vortek knives?????? 💖🌹
Wish there was women like you around here. Here is Chicago unfortunately. I would relocate for a wife who loves knives as much as me though I think 😂
🤓👍
Thanks for watching!
We miss you...
my main issue with the shootout was it felt like a toy.
Are you from Ky?
Alabama!
@@carry_everyday_9619 kool husband and I love watching your videos😀
elementum was the winner
quit posting all your beautiful knives on Instagram, your costing me a fortune buying them for my wife. Love that Microtech, one of my grails.Peace
Hahaha I’m glad you are getting her some!!
Omg your hands must be teeny-tiny. These small knives look like machetes in your hands.
first🎉
Thanks for watching!

Dont buy any chinese knives with your own money.
It really threw me off when u started talking
