I whipped out my Protech Terzuola called him over and just handed him my knife. Without a word he pulled out a tanto Liberation and handed it to me. We had a whole conversation in our head.
At age 74, lifelong love affair with knives has mostly narrowed down to EDC folders. Yes, a few OTF and autos, but mainly flippers. Designers, steels, titanium, built like a tank but beautiful stem to stern. Funny to see a kid my daughter's age with some truly awesome knives. You use the word "cool" a lot. That's you and your channel, cool!
Owning a custom knife that you love is always the best feeling and to share your collection with other knife enthusiasts is priceless. Very nice video of your top 5 ❤
The Evo for the win! Such a cool knife. My coolest knives are probably my Urban F5.5, Protech Tr3 in magnacut and fishscale, my shaman in sharp dressed knives micarta, and soon to be finished by way of knife, my ZT 0450 ti. Theyre currently engraving a sonar pattern and anodizing it midnight blue. All hardware black dlc. Oh yeah

That Malibu is Saweet!! I've been wanting to get that or the Mordax but Blade HQ or Smoky Mountain Knife Works doesn't replenish their inventory often and have been out of stock for awhile. Tell them to get more, LOL 😆. Awesome video, love your collection.
You are way awesome! I just got a Swiss champ and I love my leatherman wave with my old friend rat-1 for my EDC, I think if you can’t have too many of things in your EDC that fits you
The Evo 2.0 is definitely cool. That one would be very nice for food prep because of that in front of the fingers forward blade. My coolest 5 knives would be: - Bestech Irida - Civivi Conspirator - Spyderco PM2 Cruwear & Micarta - Spyderco Spydiechef - Cold Steel Code 4 Black & DLC Honestly there are a lot of Spydies in my collection that belong on the list but had to have some variety thrown in there too. Not quite as fancy as yours. You're a couple levels beyond for sure.
I don't have anything that competes with yours, but I just recently picked up a Chaves/Reate Sangre in full TI. I am in love with it and don't want to carry anything else. Love That CKF. Those are all really slick blades.
Nice color choices on your Vero, really transformed the knife. My coolest knife is probably my walmart folder. I got a great deal too, it was a dollar. I keep it in the blister pack so that it skyrockets in value. 🧐

Love cleavers myself. You've probably answered this before so forgive me for not digging back far enough if I haven't but do you like fixed blades as well? I've found for outdoorsy types the fixed blades are the way to go! Much more durable for heavier action. Then again you can't get much more convenient than flippers.
I love the spiny dogfish! There’s nothing normal about it, including the name. 😂 I’ve come to love knives that I would have previously thought were ugly, such as some of the Spyderco’s and my karambit-style Fox folder (Warrior Poet Society version). Nice choices in the video! All very cool! 👍🏼
All my knives had to look tactical when I was young buying what ever I could afford in the moment; now I’ll save up just to get some purple anodizing and MOP inlays.

Question: what would you recommend for a folder in the $150 range? I had a CRKT M-16 I think before, but gave it to a friend when I dove head first into Tops Knives. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Very Cool Collection!! I see one common denominator on your blades here, they're all fashioned after the South Asian Parang machete. Very versatile blade shape that great for slicing and chopping. Niiice collection. 🙂
subbed! really blew me away with your favorites! my stuff is so boring and outdated lol. i always revert back to a spyderco endura and lightning otf. that gavko custom is the coolest to me, but that protech malibu is what i would go for. i actually ordered a sencut sachse and civivi cogent after getting an email from knife center about button locks and that may spark me having to go high end. i been out the game for a while. at work i carry a pm2 emerson and lightning otf in the same pocket and the lightning is the go to. coolest stuff in my collection is probably an old troodon, boo's smoke, massdrop buc that took for damn ever to get, and a glow in the dark scale delica. i did buy a cold steel colossus off jimislash, thats cool right!
Cool knives. Your impulse looks awesome. Evo 2.0 is definitely deadly, badass blade. I think the Berg Blades Barber 💈 has a definite cool factor, but it seems to fly under the radar. Slim is cool too though. 😎
Out of those I am definitely partial to the Evo. I don't have a 2.0 but have two 3.0s on pre order. Just got my shipping notification, can't wait! Which 3.0 did you order? I ended up with the dark ti/zircuti accents like yours and also the full dress one!

@@carry_everyday_9619 I don’t think recoil is the issue for them. I have tried .22s with “dart-board” targets, and other fun targets. They just don’t have much interest. They CAN shoot, and they’re both pretty good at it, but they aren’t excited about it. Oh well, can’t win ‘em all. That’s a good idea for the knives. Maybe I’ll try something purple. Part of the problem is that neither of them Wear pants with pockets. I’ve got an uphill battle 😂
