Lady McGregor's husband did not die in vain, but is forever immortalised in this beautiful melody
This song never ceases to bring me to tears. So lovely and heartfelt.
History knows her as Marion Campbell, but I love that you call her Lady MacGregor. She earned that through her loyalty to her husband.
I agree, Corrine.
Beautifully restrained and sensitive.
"While there's leaves in the forest and foam on the river, MacGregor despite them shall flourish forever".
I got to hear this in person tonight in Crescent City California. Really enjoyed it thank you gentlemen.
Beautifull and sensitive...just heard it on Dutch Classical Radio 4
This is gorgeous and its lament brought me to tears. Thank you.
heard this on ABC classic and had to just sit in the car and listen to the end. Absolutely beautiful.
Just heard it on RN and came here :)
Absolutely a favorite tune of mine. Glad to have found your cover of it. Really lovely. Thank you.
You have to listen to it with your eyes closed.Superb.
What a beautiful piece of music and very well performed.
They played this when I heard them up on the Orkney islands in June. Amazing players and communicators
stunning.
Oh my - so beautiful
Gorgeous
I first heard this sung by Mac-talla. One does not need to speak Gaelic to feel the sorrow and beauty.
Used to have this song by that group on a cassette I bought when on a mountain walking trip in Skye from Ireland in the late 1990s....oh the memories ...a beautiful piece.....will be no back again at 76! Remember staying at a hostel in Glenbrittle.
Hello! I really like your music and I wanted to use some of your work in an amination Im working on. Is there a way I can contact you?
This touched my soul. I'm a violinist in ohio.
