She is a trained singer, so she knows how to take care of her voice. That´s the difference between her and the likes of Coverdale, Vince Neil, Don Dokken, Jon Bon Jovi etc.
I think Neil sounds better on guirar now, but Pat has declined. That happens with age. The older u get, the harder it is to hit the higher notes. I'm not criticizing her; it's just a natural fact.. U seem blind to this
Neil Giraldo is fcking awesome! He is awesome at guitar awesome as a writer awesome as a producer! The dude is a genius!!!! He's so good.. Pat would be lost without him
One of the best live performances I've ever seen on this fantastic 80's classic! While the guitar riffs were amazing, how about the guy on the drums??? Man he was killing it. I have always loved the drum beat on this tune and this live version is even better.
I know it may be hard to believe, but I think Pat and Neil get better with age. We were totally blown away with this performance last night. Now I can't wait to see them live.
Ur wrong. She can't sing like she used to. It's not a criticism. We all get like that. I can't sing like I used to. Like Pat, I just can't hit the higher notes like I used to. Neil is prolly better at playing his songs, but Pat is not better. She has lost her range. It happens
lol she has NOT gotten better. She has lost range. It happens to us all as we get older.. Why do u flatter like that? She's good, but she was better any time in the past
Pat on the bus in the music video in the mid to early 80s is prob my first music video memory as a child. Those music video days were great while they lasted.
WOAH!!! That was AMAZING!!! The sound, Pat’s voice (after all this time), the guitars, drums...everything ... now that is some REAL music from back in the day. 🙌🏽🖤
OMGOSH 😮I’ve played guitar forever and I can say Neil rules it here with his high octane interpretation of a classic song not to mention the rest of the band ❤
Esas canciones que marcan, que quedan en la memoria para siempre, imposible de no bailar cuando se escuchan, no importa el tiempo que haya pasado!! gran cancion y video de Pat Benatar.
OMG what a fine live performance of a song that ruled my youth. Being only 15. The desperate crush, that first kiss, the discovery of writing music. Pat & Neil 4Ever♥
Skin Crawls everytime I hear this song. The performance is way INTERESTING & AMAZING than any version of this song. WTF MANNNN??? Everybody on stage is a BEAST... She sings like she invented VOICE and they play the rock guitar as if they invented hands. Lol. Pat Benatar and the Gang..... MUCH RESPECT
I was in college when this song came out. I rented a house with a couple friends, and one of them played this song every morning before his 8:00 classes, with his headphones, in the living room. I know that he did, because the music was so loud it woke me up in my bedroom, every time.
@@johnnyrotundo6483 So it sounds like you're agreeing, even though you don't think she took care of her voice. Her profession is singing. Wouldn't it be logical for her to take care of what makes her money? Just saying.

Damnnn! She's got sum pipes and knows exactly how to use them. That's for sure. I miss these types of singers in rock that sounded a lot like broadway singers to me. I think she was in Broadway prior I'm not for sure..
I've always loved her voice. Give me back the days when we decided who was the "best." The days of strong female vocalists appear to be over as corporate America will only handpick a "winner" and they sell their souls so the corporation will invest in them, write music for them and promote the hell out of them.
Put Benatar in the Hall of Fame Now! She Earned it! She Deserves to be there
She, is the best female rock and roll vocalist to ever hold a mic.
absolutely!! I wish Pink would do duet with her.....
Exactly!!!!!
I agree. I've been a huge fan of Pat Benatar since I was 11 in 1981.
John Finley Anne Wilson would rival her.
That's your opinion. Cause i put not one rock singer that has ever been on this earth ahead of Ann Wilson
Wow, this live performance is great. Her husband plays a killer guitar. Man, aren't they the perfect couple.
The perfect couple...
She found love , but we miss her.
Totally agree!
Yes, they are perfect couple and bands
Claro que YES!!
I am totally amazed by pat's energy and vocal performance.she is over 60 here and she sounds like in her 20s!!!!
I just saw her tonight and at 68 still so powerful! She credits lays potato chips for helping her voice stay strong.

She's gorgeous and WALES her heart out. God bless the two of them...
Literally one of the best pop songs ever written. There's no denying it.
it's like a global anthem - timeless x
sung by one of the best voices in the biz.
Not written by Benatar but I can’t think of anyone else singing it.
