When I saw dagath I saw her as either an ability spam frame or a weapon buffer frame, and that she didn't do anything interesting or unique on the weapon buffing end, knowing she can bypass overguard might change the way I view her (tho I still think there are better weapon buffing frames and play styles out there) Her 4 spam build, is a bit sus at times with the energy problems, but it's definitely fun and unique, no one else can do what she does the way she does it...
"Wyrd" is pronounced "weird". It's the old english version of the same word. "Wyrd" used to mean a kind of supernatural destiny or fate but now means 'strange, uncanny'.
Playing her with a combi of combat discipline, hunter adrenaline and molt reconstruct. Casting abilities heals me, getting damage by enemies regenerates energy to cast abilities that heal me. Combine with rolling guard and the survival aspect of her 3rd ability. Her 4th ability serves also as a second rolling guard as it gives you immunity to damage for the ability cast time. You cant die and can cast her ult without energy cost at all times. You are free to get away from zenurik and if you are bored you can use equilibrium and synth deconstruct on your companion to regen even more energy if thats even necessary. Enemies cant damage you with the immunity time you get from all these "pseudo rolling guards" but you can take damage by combat discipline wich gives you back your energy, and the reconstruct arcana heals you with used energy. Its a spiral of invis heal. No shield gating needed, never died once with her
One tip, especially for circuit- her 3 is not tecastable while active, and the bonuses do not change until and unless you recast it, regardless of if you build up molt augmented or have some other mean of increasing strength. So, it may be a good idea to fling yourself off an edge at the start/end of each round in order to recast the ability as your strength increases to avoid risking letting them "kill" you to turn off the ability.
I went with a caster build and am able to kill near 1200 enemies in 10 minutes of steel path kuva survival, it's insane. Rakhali's Cavalry is like the Lex Incarnon on steroids and hallways just get absolutely obliterated. I put two casting shards on her because the casting speed of her 4 is the slowest and I noticed that I tended to get caught in eximus' energy drain pools too often before the cast finished. Though two casting speed shards is probably TOO fast and I can probably use only one Tauforged shard instead of two. I also had my build slightly more energy efficient at the expense of strength because I don't have a maxed out arcane energize and I found that it really didn't matter too much for her to nuke everything in front of her with her 4. Enemies still got completely armor stripped and died even though I was only at 144% strength for a total of 50% armor reduction.
Something i'd like to mention that may be a bug and was not in the video: - Grave spirit is currently not affected by Empower or Energy Conversion, tested as the critical damage buff from Grave spirit did not increase. This was done with Empower alone, EC alone, and Empower followed by EC for max output and none worked. - Although I've not got any specific arcanes to proc ability strength or power donation (from an ally), it is safe to assume conditional/temporary power strength does not affect Grave Spirit. if this could be fixed, i can see critical builds for Dagath being even more viable with potentially 200%+ Grave spirit activation paired with high multiplier weapons.
Power donation, molt augment, and the str buff from the double cast Zenurik energy zone all affect it. I can't speak on anything else but those have been consistent enough for me to ask you to double check the empower or EC bug.
I love dagath, it's been my first deep grind for a frame in my 100hours of gameplay yet. I love her theme,vfx,sfx..they are stunning! I like the caster spammy build but i m definitely intrigurd to explore the weapon platform side. Ty for the Amazing video! PS: Does nourish kinda "amplify" your already existant viral stacks? Otherwise why use that since dagath already have so many form to spread viral?
1-spam range build is the main way I used her before adding another item to “the shelf”. The other abilities just didn’t do it for me despite some of their utility (not helped in that kullervo came out before her and IMO has a very similar but more useful kit as it mixes AoE instant over guard and a helminth ability you can easily swap out for more dakka). That said t’s a near “perfect” kit as far as synergy goes but if I took her further I’d have swapped out the 3/4 for either a doom n gloom combo or the usual roar/eclipse/cats weapon boost to really double down on the kill potential. Most likely the 4 as other than the helminth-1 all the abilities are very narrow in their effect while having harsh cast times.
Dagath feels like kind of a missed opportunity to me. Its got a cool theme, visuals, and some interesting abilities...but it just doesn't feel strong or like it does anything particularly well, and for what it does do other frames do it more easily.
It’s just a super active caster , in terms of strength she is ridiculous if you play to that style , pretty much glass cannon aka plays a lot like banshee weirdly
Just got back into this game and I’m loving all the new warframes! Got a couple people to play with after crossplay was added and man I’m def going to be logging some hours on this! Thanks for the vid!
What I love about the archon shards that not enough people mention (cause "power creep") is how many frames I can just make big HP tanks. Dagath and Voruna for example, I can slap about 3 blue shards into them, use triple umbral, and suddenly they can romp around in level 800 steel path without worrying about shield gating.
@@reconsix20ar2 Yeah, Voruna goes tanky surprisingly easy. Alternatively, its pretty easy to make the frame nearly 100% uptime stealth if you only use abilities. Overall, its one of the most sneaky-survivable frames...and has phenomenal damage.

@@vasRayya I'd be interested to see what specifically its running, but it sounds like the ability modifiers are probably on the low side with that much in the tanky stats. Pair that with a top weapon, and I'm sure its fine...but there are much better warframes to just be tanky weapons platforms.
I've been running maxed Molt Reconstruct with a rank 1 Arcane Energize (gonna be upgrading it) as a way to help keep myself healthy and Energy up when playing Dagath as a caster but you've got some some great ideas to up survivability I hadn't thought about.
As someone who didn't enjoy shield gating before the update i was disappointed when the new frame's survivability was shield gating, exactly as it was done before the update too, so i dropped her relatively fast, sure she does have big damage but making her survive is such a hassle On the other hand, i did find out that with the buffs to shields and shield mods (specifically boreal's hatred) caliban is now a surprisingly good frame, which currently fits my seasonal "use me till a new frame drops" frames
If you can get the arcane that gives you shield regen, caliban is straight up unkillable save for toxin damage (i'm pretty sure the shield regen getting unlocked by the arcane makes your sentient friend shield regen also activate regardless of being in combat or not)
has the abyssal zone matchmaking been altered? I definitely got put into squads at least some of the time when I ran it, at least outside of Steel Path. Can't remember if I did on steel path, but that was certainly much quieter
Yeah, it was a bug on launch. Public matchmaking was SUPPOSED to be off, but it slipped through, and accidentally started matchmaking everyone, Steel Path or not, which obviously was an issue. Low level Tenno getting dropped into nearly impossible SP missions for them, and High level Tenno getting put into standard non-SP missions they didn't want to be in.
That intro gave me a stroke. I wanted to ask a question and hopefully you'll answer. I watched you rank all the frames about 10-11 months ago and was wondering where you'd slot in Citrine, Kullervo, and Dagath into that?
It's not really worth it though, except when you get above level 2000ish enemies, which is about 0.000001% of the time. The rest of the time, it's quicker and easier to just shoot them. Reave is overrated.
