Hey. 33 years paramedic and 15 years firefighter. It’s funny I can see in Damon‘s personality how he would be a great first responder. I just retired last year and it was the best job I could ever have. Thanks for bringing some sunlight onto how tough it is to be a first responder. ❤
1 year firefighter hoping to get back to it soon stopped to be with my wife and kid(first) and working on getting back miss it everyday and completely agree Damon would be one of the best first responders bc of his heart for others and thank you so much for all the years of service
Damon, I really love the bond you and Mia have, the father daughter bond. I just hope that my 12-year-old turns out to be a good woman as she is and we have that kind of relationship. You can just tell the way she looks at you, she loves you to death and you the same for her…..
I appreciate how much you respect truck drivers. I was one for 26yrs so you can imagine how many miles I have done. It’s was a tough life being away from home for extended periods of time. You miss everything that happens at home, then one day you get home and your children are grown up!!!! On the other hand you get to see North America and bring the family with you every once in a while. You definitely need good support from home and try and be supportive while being on the road. It doesn’t work for everyone but it did for me. Cheers guys love your channel.
Love it. I remember when I got my brand new type R. With only 27 miles on it. Gosh what a great feeling. Working hard for a R34 to get that feeling back 😂😅
Having a daughter who actually likes hanging out with you in her 20s is such a flex for a dad. Of all of Damon's successes, that's one of the biggest ones in my book
Thank you for respecting all truck drivers out there. I'm a trucker and always will be one. I logged 1.6+ million miles in over 13 years. Keep the "Hammer Down" and keep doing what you need to do. I love watching the videos every day as part of my routine.
My dad’s been driving semi since I was 1 (33 years) and he LOVES it. The freedom of the open road and being his own boss is something he can’t get out of. I think u would like it tbh.
@ yeah u got a point. But semis are an open canvas. He’s got a 389 Pete fully decked out and tuned/built motor to make it fun. He enjoys building up his semi for shows when he has time and works it hard as well. Building a car or semi I feel comes from the same root and passion of vehicles. I think that’s what Damon meant. Could be wrong. But I totally get what you’re saying. 🤟🏽
I loaned my big brother the money to attend trucking school 25 years ago. He drove for 5 years and fell in love and got married. He sold his rig and got a job. He was a great dad for his daughter for 16 years and his wife divorced him. He spent 2 years in the dumps, then he quit his factory job, bought a used rig and has gone back to driving and has never been happier. He sends me automotive videos on TikTok. I haven’t been able to get him to like DDE yet…
The quote every parent says at least once to their child as an adult is" youll always be my kid" tons of respect to Damon for truly keeping DDE Family oriented and its simply been a pleasure having Mia back on the channel i cant wait to see what shes gonna do with her porshe,,,,do i maybe see her getting her porshe customized by WRB .....
Still amazes me how DDE puts out daily content and not just for the sake of putting out videos, but they are putting out high quality content each and every day. Lots of respect for Damon, Dave, Mike, Tim and the entire crew! Huge fan here! DDE fam forever!
Build series is gonna be fun!! Super happy that you guys got some time together and got to see a beautiful section of our country! Can’t wait to see what’s going on with the 720! Keep it up guys!
Nothing like seeing another super dad taking care of his little ones! You the man Damon brother! Truck drivers are hero's in book, our lives depend on their sacrifice!😎💯👊🏿
I watch the show every day because I have so much in common with you guys; Being a dad to daughters is part of that. This chapter of the dde saga is by far my favorite, Mia is a great add. Humble and not overselling herself. Curious. Hard working. Love it all. Also cool to embrace the family business! Look forward to another decade of entertainment. Thanks for what you do!
Im 25 years old I’m a truck driver and so is my wife. We drive all through California up to Washington, sometimes even close Canada borders. No one understands how exhausting it is mentally and physically driving everyday
Mia really getting into DDE has been the best thing to ever happen to the channel. I hope I get to work and spend that time with my daughter when she grows up
Constructive criticism here guys, It’s time Mia started actually researching the cars, mods, body kits, etc. it’s been a few months, and still no growth of knowledge, always with the ‘I don’t know anything’! If Mia doesn’t know, she could ask the audience about what the DDE fans think would be good ideas for her to research, for inspiration and two way input, there is no engagement, No vlog without the team being behind you, where Jason has run his own vlogs. Jason only knows heaps about cars, like Dave and Damon because A. They are actually car guys, and B. They make sure they learn! Don’t sit around watching the vlog be filmed while on your phone if you’re not the focus or need to be directly in there, be around the back of the conversation to learn ❤ Ironically Jason found your car… cause car people know cars, so become a car person 🎉
Absolutely loving the content with Mia. She's learning quickly and the vibe she and her dad have is genuine. The cars are of course the big draw on DDE, but the personalities are what make it really so much fun to watch, and you have a stellar group right now. I've been watching DDE since the beginning, and it just keeps getting better. It's good to break up all the "crazy" content with some slower-paced moments like the technical car build series or road trips. Variety is the spice, as they say. You guys are doing all the right things. Keep it up and just enjoy the ride.
Damon and Mia thank you for how you talked about the respect for everyone who makes life keep going. Damon please do not put yourself down. You are intelligent because you took something from nothing and made it happen.
3:07 as a truck driver in Europe i appreciate the fact that some people see what truck drivers do! And also everyone else who helps making the world work. I love this job and it has it's downsides but for now, i wouldn't want to trade it for the world
I went back and got my GED just for the hell of it to be able to say I did it. I put it off for years thinking it would be difficult. Come to find out I scored in the top 1% after VERY minimal studying. I think you should do it Damon, if for nothing else do it for yourself. You got this Damon!
Damon don’t sell yourself short buddy!, Look what you accomplished and it’s puts you in the top ten percent of society and you’re literally living your dream, Cute kids beautiful wife adorable dogs beautiful home, you have no idea how many people envy you and Dave but not jealous!, Just happy for you both because you work you’re butt off and it’s just nice to see someone succeed, Watching 30 to 60 minutes of DDE is part of are routine, But what blue me away is how popular DDE is around the world!!
*As a former OTR trucker I can confirm it's definitely not a normal job, it's a life style where every day is an adventure* *Thanks for showing some love to the truckers @Damon most people don't understand how difficult and dangerous being a commercial truck driver really is and how while most people get to go home everyday and spend the holidays with their families that is not usually the case for most of us transporting goods from coast to coast safely across the country* *With that being said you'd be hard pressed to find an office with a better view than being behind the wheel driving an 18 wheeler across America* *Despite all the hours and demands that come with the job I was never happier than I was driving truck, I miss my job*
Coming from Australia, i had no idea what it looked like in California. Thanks Mia for filming the car trip. That time lapse was awesome. FYI: Big Porsche fan here. Looking forward to everything you are gonna do to it. #hugs
This father-daughter thing really is cool to watch ! Binding experience and all of it. Especially the first part with him telling the stories that even she did not know. It's a bit of under the hood info, a way to learn about the human beings behind DDE. This was an actual pleasurable video to watch ...
I've been a professional driver on and off for 23 years. I know I've driven over one million miles in city traffic. That doesn't include road trips on highways.
23yrs driving in Asia you might get 100k the traffic is the worst. Thought that's nice driving around America it's like home in Australia you can drive and be fee I miss that enjoy.
You guys have been a huge part of my life ever since I had unfortunately suffered a near fatal, massive stroke, and you guys decided to gift me with your merchandise while I was still in the hospital recovering from the stroke. I‘m since home now. However my recovery journey continues on. In my past life, I was a ln 18 year paramedic. I was also a part-time Heavy towing and recovery equipment operator. I did that for many years until my year demise was met and I’ve been on the sidelines ever since. I hope to get myself fully recovered so I can get back to helping people because that’s what I love to do. I feel like crap now I’m not being able to help anyone but myself. Much love to you all.
Can't wait to get the 720 back on the road. Fun fact, the 720 crash video was my entry into the DDE content. I just got that in my feed one day, and I have watched you ever since. So when that 720 gets back on the road, it's a full circle. So that will be special, in some way. As a photographer, I respect you guys so much for putting up a video every day. That just takes so much commitment from the whole team. And I know all too well how much work goes into doing that. So huge respect!
Best vlog on the stories channel Mia. Great job showing emotions, speaking about your dad, shouting out to great professions, being genuinely interested, pointing out your flaws and things you want to learn about. It feels like a great start/restart to your awesome journey on the DDE channel
Mia, if you’re reading this, you are doing such a great job. You can see the excitement and the genuine desire to morph into your role. Keep up the great work. I am rooting for you and DDE. Also, sooo cool to see you vibing with your dad. Your dad is a badman (in the best of ways) and to see you bring out the soft side of him is a refresher to the channel. You can also tell he is super proud of you and very grateful for the opportunity for you to be with him living out his dreams. This content is wholesome.
I’ve been following you for a few years now and have always loved when you do videos with your daughters and have watched you grow. Never stop keep goin. And also want to say thank you for the credit you give truck drivers. As a driver it caused my divorce and watching your videos keep me goin and now I’m building my relationship with my daughter. Thank you for getting me through the chaos. Love what your doin now that the Ferrari has started, is it time to work on the 720. Can’t wait to see what you do with that beast
I love this competition between the Aston Martin and the Porsche. It's like the gentlemen's sports car vs the secret weapon that everyone sleeps on. Damon is blessed to have such a great daughter. I hope my son and I have a relationship like this when he grows up!
I'm so happy to see both the Porsche and the Aston on the channel (as well as Jason and Mia too!). They are two of my top favorite car brands. I'm exited to see what you guys do with them, and hopefully one day you guys can go all out beyond the current budget. Keep em coming!
Man it’s refreshing to hear Damon talk about truck drivers and show some appreciation to the industry.. shoutout to all the fellow DDE truck drivers out there
Another quality video guys. Here in Aussie, I'm an active SES (State Emergency Service) member. Mainly storm damage and search and rescue in my area. There's nothing like the feeling when you've finished helping someone out and they're happy and smiling after you've finished. Puts a smile on my dial. When you said you want to paint that Lambo (I've brain farted and forgotten what is called, lol) purple, I thought NOOO! Not with those black outs, it won't work, it looks so cool as it is. But when you said you'll paint the lauvers the purple also, I thought, yes that'll work. Looking forward to the build off, can't wait to see how the Porsche and Aston Marten turn out. Great seeing father daughter time with the drive. Always good to see. I have three daughters of my own. 26, 23, 21. Looking forward to the next video. From Australia.
Gotta admit, the consistency of both channels is bar none. I appreciate the effort that comes to running these channels, and truly impressed to how consistent you are. Nobody is perfect, no channel is, but knowing I get to see a DDE video pretty much everyday is crazy to me. Kinda like my daily ritual. Man...
Don't ever change, Mia. You are a beautiful young woman who is genuinely nice, and humble and appreciates what you have. Unfortunately, that is rare in younger kids these days. I also like how excited you are for the Porsche, even though just a couple years ago you were driving around a Lamborghini.
15:50 that right their.. I've been watching you for so long I was a teenager and now a father of two and my oldest is 6 and that moment right there is IT man... So many props for the Halloween thing for your youngest cuz we never break a promise to now THIS road trip with your oldest is so Epic and literally goals..
Yeah is always like this also you can see the view number that reach the thousands extreamly quick , really cool group of people , now we should have a nickname….. something like the “because fam”
Im Glad Mia Is On The Channel Its Great That She Gets To Dpend Time With Her Dad And Learn About The Family Business Because You Know Once Prez Gets Old Enough Shes Coming And Mia Would Be able To Teach Her All The Steps
makes me want to go on a road trip, love driving distance. the escapism of this channel is amazing, i was zoned out of reality and into DDE for the whole 34 mins.
I'm a truck driver and have been for 20 years. So thank you for the appreciation. I also enjoy watching you guys.
Thank you for doing what you do man.

It’s takes a different kind of mindset. Willing to give up your life for something more then you.
As someone who lived in Poway California with a bunch of brush fires. I wanted to say thank you for your service@@chrisgillis7217

Regardless what ppl said about Mia coming to the channel. We love her & thank you for showing us a very educative contents.
Damon I drove a big truck for 12 years after I got out of the Army and I had a lot of fun going to all 48 states and 3 provinces of Canada ❤
Which truck bro ? And how reliable was it ?
If you bought it, a trucker brought it.
@@terrylbateman4030 Oh, you mean you worked as a trucker. Ok, I got it wrong bro. How comfortable was your sleeping space and amenities inside of it ?
Tell me you don’t have an education without telling me you don’t have an education. Truck drivers are unintelligent worthless fucks
Big respect for the daily content DDE provides to us!
Too fast to be first yeah😂
Agreed.

Well like you said it takes everyone so thank you all for being great at what you do.
Man...
Just what no one wanted another Mia episode
Love how Mia showed appreciation to her dad❤.... so so cool!
Truck drivers are common. Think about how many semis there are on the road. Like Damon said they literally deliver EVERYTHING
Don't ever change, Mia. You are a beautiful young woman who is genuinely nice, and humble and appreciates what you have. Unfortunately, that is rare in younger kids these days.
I also like how excited you are for the Porsche, even though just a couple years ago you were driving around a Lamborghini.
Thank you for another day with another vid
Hope you enjoyed it!
15:50 that right their.. I've been watching you for so long I was a teenager and now a father of two and my oldest is 6 and that moment right there is IT man... So many props for the Halloween thing for your youngest cuz we never break a promise to now THIS road trip with your oldest is so Epic and literally goals..

Looking forward to the builds of Mia and Jason's cars. Love Porsche but that AM with a body kit would be sick.
So nice to see you enjoying your time together. Glad Mia is on the channel now.

I have to say, Mia is killing it with the stories channel. Between, Damon, Dave, Mia, Tim and Mike Essa DDE is my top channel. DDE for life 👌
