You should fully restore it and make money out of it with limo services for proms, weddings, parties, etc. Driver should be George in his “businessman suit” (the one he wore when he drove the Porsche).

use PPG Harlequin (color-changing) paint!! Seriously... that paint alone pulls more eyeballs than any exotic! Its not cheap, but once you see it... you know you've got to have it!

it needs roll down windows front to back for spitting and smoking and ventilation while camping , or A/C and leave it idling all night in 90 degrees temps , race bucket seats that resline front to back, nice tunes , lots of tech .
It's turquoise, not "teal". The original colors were called Tropical Turquoise/India Ivory. The paint code for that two tone option was 811. That's the most popular color combination with restorers. Another thing to think about is the mile long driveshaft. To keep the floor flat, maybe think about using the Turbo 425 transmission from the Cadillac Eldorado and Oldsmobile Toronado. You will have a front wheel drive car, NO driveshaft and a flat floor, which will leave MUCH more room for activities. The Turbo 425 is a Turbo 400 internally. ALL mods will work. You will need an adaptor for the trans to engine if you use a Chevy because the bolt pattern is BOP (Buick, Olds, Pontiac - and Cadillac). I would use a 500 inch Cadillac if it were my car.

There was already a ton of work that went into making that limo. I'd like to see it professionally finished. Great bones to work with there. Yes, the teal and white would look classic. For the drivetrain, that would require a ridiculously long driveshaft. How about making it front-wheel-drive? Maybe even adapt the engine and trans from a C8 Corvette into the front with steering.

Honestly kinda agree, but it would take some serious and legitimate work, sadly as a cleet and squirrel goofball project there is exactly 0% chance of that happening. If they get the whole crew involved and throw 100k plus into it would definitely be possible, not sure they want to get that invested in it, but Leroy and Mullet started out as complete junkers so honesty who knows? Would definitely be a really cool car if they went that route.
I love how keen Sam is to get it done, he will have it shiny in no time. Sam has the biggest smile on his face looking at the limo, must bring back some good memories.

I know the whole Cleet and Squirrel thing is a schtick BUT this deserves a serious body man and to be done right. I am almost 55 years old and I have NEVER seen a 57 Bel Air limo. Please do it right and keep it the teal and white.
Put a huge blower big block in it. Tent them windows..give it a old faded teal decal retro racer vibe. Some deep well chromeys to. Would be awesome burnout limo
i am pumped up about this build please dont do her wrong, get this thing right!! big block twin turbos, and full roll cage and some meats on the back put the engine where the back seat should go and make under the hood some storage. keep that drive shaft a little shorter so we can make big power for the smoke shows
Ahhhhhhh no, Dan’s a self admitted hack who cobbles things together. I’m a fan of his but He’s definitely not a tri-five restoration expert and he even says it himself. There’s no tri-five expert even needed for that thing, it needs a paint/body and interior expert.
Had to stop at 34:01, y’all need to do this thing up and bag it so she lays frame!!!!!!!! Also keeps the color. You guys never disappoint.
