Again. Very nice video. After 30 mins out of the box testing VP T50CM-2 ( replacing the TM Warthog Throttle) I was unimpressed. After a few mins of watching your videos and testing the power of the Virpil software I'm hooked. Massive game changer. A switch or slider can be configured to do many different things. Thanks!
Hi from Munich! Set at 50% X axis centre, I am still drifting off to the right at zero Stick excessively. Can I correct this using the Offset feature in the VPC Config tool by reducing / increasing the centre percentage +/- from 50%??
Hey Havoc, no idea if your still seeing replies here or evne on UA-cam still after 5 years.. but have a question for you on the Encoders. If you simply turn off the 'delay' does that essentially set the encoder to full-speed or does it make it to full-slow?
Any way to get the encoders to work more like rotary switches like the X56 makes use of? Encoders really seem to suck -- especially with how they interface with DCS...
You could create a virtual analog axis and use the encoder to increase / decrease the analog value depending on direction turned BUT you will usually need to have a third button to "center" this virtual analog axis
FOR CM2, Does anyone know if they (Virpil) or someone who has written a mod have come up with a way to program the LED's individually ? So in other words, I want just one LED to control the HOOK in an F18 for example for the hook down state of green, and then that same LED push button turns red when depressed for Hook UP state. So one button doing two colors depending on the state of the HOOK in the F18. I'm not picky, how about two different LED buttons, one would be HOOK UP as Red when ON (lit), and below it another LED button light would be HOOK DOWN GREEN. Perhaps someone has written something, perhaps @t or another program or a custom written mod. But ideally, VIRPIL will write something so the firmware gets updated and then suddenly we get to control each and every light with anything we want to do!!!!!! ANY HELP FROM ANYONE THAT HAS FIGURED THIS OUT WOULD BE SUPREMLEY Appreciated!!!!!
Hi Havoc, I just came across a neat program called RS Mapper. Have you tried using this piece of software? I'm curious if this will work with Virpil? BTW, I finally got my CM2 throttle to pair w/ my Warbird base & VFX F14 stick. As a side note, I'm curious how you might go about using the weapons switch on the VFX stick? I was thinking that I would set it up for guns, then bombs, then rockets (IL2 - Battle of Bodenplatte). Thanks for any advice. HB
Not tried it, I use Joystick gremlin and it has a huge amount of functionality, VFX grip (I do not own one) I would need to get a screen cap of the button tab form the VPC software to see what way it operates (what type of button type it is configured for)
Great Vids and tutorials, saved me some major pain! But one question with the CM3 throttle. On the sides you have dials, I am trying to get the right dial to be able to Zoom in/out (in DCS) - how is this done? any tips? thanks
I know this is a pretty old video but are you able to map a single binding for dual sticks? For instance, I want both my right and left brake lever to be mapped on one key. Star Citizen is unfortunate enough to not allow for multiple bindings for a specific function. Thank you!
use joystick gremlin, if for example the normal default keybind for a function like brake was b , then you use gremlin to bind b to both stick brake levers
I'm attempting to accomplish something with my Mongoose throttle that I'm not sure is possible. I would like to change my momentary switches to give me three buttons instead of two, one for each state, on off and on. Do you know if this is possible and how I would configure it in the virpil software?
Hello this might sound ridiculous but is there a way to make the cm2 throttle control my media like play pause music and volume up and down or something and if there's a way to do it without installing a 3rd party app but if there's a way that would be great thank you
Hello. I just ordered a virpil throttle, a base and a TM hornet stick. My question is this: can the throttle and the joystick interact? For example, can I use the 5 modes dial on the throttle to assign different outputs after pressing a button on my joystick?
This time i watched the whole video. The lack of the TEMPO function (clicking on a button gives one logical output and holding the button gives another logical output) like on VKB software make me really sad. Does Joystick Gremlin have this option? Can i run JG on Win 10?
when i use the pov hats on the mongoose cm2 stick it always presses the push button (center) aswell as the direction, this means dcs only ever see the centre button press and not the direction, how do i fix this?
@@HavocCompanyClan ive got it workong and everything bound in dcs now. It really doesnt like having both the t50 and warbird connected at the same time though, I havnt checked in dcs to see if it causes problems but the virpil software really doesnt like it
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. Virpil should pay you.

Very helpful! Just picked up a throttle. This helps sort out what the hardware/software are doing. Thanks!
Very seriously appreciate these videos!! Can not thank-you enough!!!!
Very helpful. Thank you for doing these..
Finaly lol. Been following you for a long time waiting for this.
This. Is. A. Blessing. Thank you!
Thanks, helps me a lot.
Thank you so much
Was thinking the same thing as others. They should pay you to write their documentation.
Well if Virpil want to send me free equipment for me to do more tutorial videos on, I will not complain

off will lower the time delay BUT too fast clicks can make windows "filter them out" as they think its noise

not currently, I use joystick gremlin for doing that
