I love watching your tutorials; your methods are simple and easy to follow. I started school three months ago and have another four months to complete the program. I like how you do your face-framing layers, and I have to find a technique that works for me. The school doesn't allow us to practice face-framing layers on the mannequins, so we have to practice on clients, which is quite intimidating.

This is gorgeous! The method for the back of the head is very similar to your long layer tutorial, but the end result looks very different. Is that last short layer created just by overdirecting the top forwards slightly? Or did I miss something?

Hey there, I was wondering if you were over dirrecting the hair (in the beginning) to the guide , or just pulling strait up and the guide follows. As you said, taking half of the guide to new hair? Or pulling straight up, which way are you over directing? Thank you❤
How long should the layering take? I asked for this style but my hair is longer and even in the front she literally took 10 minutes, no cross checking and was done, now I have choppy ends and no volume.
My hair is super thick with a ton of body. Would this cut be good for me? I like to keep my hair long because I need the weight to keep it down. Getting a Goldwell keratin treatment tomorrow.
