This team carried me up to AFK stage 600, well i got lucky and hit 2 cicia copy's from pity,with 2 from arena shop i got her to mythic+,am currently held back by the lack of essence but as a F2P this game isn't terrible, unless you're pushing arena you won't have a problem with Wales,as a casual game its good ,you don't need to spend 8+ hours a day just to grind daily missions like other mobile games.
Yeah that’s been my experience as-well, im a light spender but have been saving all the pulls, so technically my roster is f2p and it’s been pretty breezy with a little luck

Can attest as 100% f2p this is awesome, was similar in style to my current team I built on my own but way more effective. My team was stuck at afk 390, just swapped to this team and pushed to 405 with less legendaries then what was my main team. Overall for pushing stages it seems double support is the way to go.

Use Antandra and Brutus as front line and smokey in the middle, cecia and odie as the back line you will cruise through. Odie gives consistent damage output and cecia's summon can demolish enemy backline while antandra will tank the attcks and buy time

I have everyone minus Koko, but its working really good with Oddie as a replacement, if Antandra survives till Cecia cast her ult, then the stage is cleared.

I’ve seen some videos making a fun comp using summons from Cecia, Berial, and Damian together with Thoran to unleash an army to overwhelm the enemy. It looks quite fun so I’m building towards it. Man, Smokey, Cecia, Odie, Atandra, and generally a random 5th (now Rowan, mostly) have been my main team since I started the game a week or so ago, haven't really thought about Koko, will have to give her a try.

Long time afk arena player here, old early game meta in afk arena is basically graveborn hyper carry. in afk arena they have shemira(grveborn) with insane fullscreen DoT dmg. U need her alive till ult to clear basically every pve content. Guess some things never change lol. We also have Thoran cheese strat back then. Basically gather enemy with eiron infront of Thoran, Thoran ult, let enemy hit him, oneshot enemy team lmao. u need high copy of Thoran tho to pull it off.

This is my team and has been since like day 2 of global launch, I have almost the whole team at supreme+ and it gets nutty.
Omg. I got mythic+ Smokey last night and that alone pushed me 50 stages, i cannot imagine how insane the full team would be at supreme

I just love the fact, even if you're f2per, you can still hold up or even come up to the top like a true monster
I just lucked out on rolls and got her on supreme+ and she’s now my main dps
I’ve got that. It’s great.
Just an update that I have found on this. I am currently at power level 189k on AFK lvl 540. Enemy front liners are two shotting my front lines. I find removing Rowan from the back right, and moving Cecia there, then putting Antandra in front of her frees up a front left spot for Thuran who provides enough of a meat shield on the front lines for Cecia to summon Mr Carlyle and everyone else to start buffing and healing. Without 2 tanks that can take a LOT of damage, most of the team dies before anyone can cast anything.
I've been using this team since I started playing, kruger instead of rowan, and it worked till about 450. Now I only have to wait to collect enough dust to be able to level up units and proceed.
I am running the exact setup, just using florabelle in place of koko
Got all of these heroes so I have to try it like this. Who knows, maybe it works out to get to 400.
Currently am using Thoran, Smokey, Cecia, Viperian and Rowan. Last two I swap depanding on the situation. Viperian does crazy dmg for those wondering.
Give this a shot for sure, seems to be helping a ton of other people besides myself with pushing through stage 500+
@@CasuallyAFK Managed to beat 8 lvls with this one at least. The problem is my Cecia is only at Epic so she currently dies almost instantly. Will need to upgrade a lil bit, then will continue for sure with this one.
This build works for the early stages of the Abyss as well

I been useing this team from day one but i have vala intead of the fog guy do u recommend swapping out rowan for him or is getting everyones ult off more important cause i find that u dont need rhe healing from fog cause they get lifesteal from koko ult
Yeah I’d say it’s worth the edge it gives you on the other team. Everyone’s ult is quiet important in this team to get off with Rowan, imo Smokey is a staple in this team for the faction bonus, healing and atk% buff IF your team is dying in the afk stages, if it ain’t and you need the damage I’d bring in the vala like you have been

HAHA no wait i can explain-
Good team comp. As a free-to-play player, I play something similar, yet at the same time different, leaning more graveborn as the core. My own composition is Atandra, Rowan (and I've played Smokey before here too- which was a better choice until Rowan ascended), Viperion, Igor, Cecia. And I don't consider this composition optimal. Unfortunately, I've been unable to pull a single Thorin (and have used choice pulls for ascensions). Otherwise I'd go Thorin, Smokey, Viperion, Rowan, Cecia. The double ult nuking of Viperion and Cecia is incredibly powerful. Without Thorin, can't really play the Smokey-Rowan combo and keep the 10% faction based stat boost buff unless I dropped having a tank. Still, I'm going to try out the above team comp to see how it does, even though my koko is merely purple with no duplicates. :\ It looks... fun; and Cecia is likely my favorite character in both effectiveness and style. I've thought about a basher core shift for the team before, using Odie- basically your exact build except Odie rather than Koko, but my Vip is Legendary+ while my Odie is only Epic+... Much like my Rowan is Mythic while my Smokey is just Epic. So far, I've managed AFK 464, though that goes up every day.
Follow up: Tried out the team comp: it did work incredibly well, though the positioning was a mess. First time in the order you put up Cecia died in the first ten seconds. Had to move Antandra to the front space, smokey behind, koko to the side, Cecia the other side, and Rowan behind. *DID* push through some stages I wasn't clearing with my go-to team, though. :)

@@CasuallyAFK The meta team you've mentioned has been far better in PVE in my playing today. However, I do think the team I mentioned can do better in Arena- and by extension honor duels. The meta PVE team is far more survivable. Adding Viperion gives more damage output. Worth comparing if you've got the characters for both, but the meta PVE is meta for a reason- it's reeeeally good at survivability.
Yeah survivability has felt super important for pve. I gave yours a shot and youre spot on, it worked great for arena got me back into legendary today :D
@@CasuallyAFK So I've managed to make it to AFK 509 today through a combination of the meta comp and mine. While doing the dream realm, I came upon an interesting idea that I don't really know how to confirm. So faction bonuses of 3 heroes of a faction give a +10% stat boost, aye? Hypogean heroes count as any hero type, though a bit weirdly. The thought is, if you have a team of two factions of two and a Hypogean, are you getting the 3-member faction bonus of both...? Or just one? If both, are they counted simultaneously, or is the latter an effective +11%? Like, a team of Bashers and Graveborn, say. Trying something like Atandra + Smokey, Viperion + Cecia, and Reinier. I got higher damage % output on the dream realm, but I don't know if that's because Reinier is just that much of a better include, or if it actually is triggering two faction bonuses.

Thank you for your video with the above team comp, it's really helped me advance my AFK level a lot- disseminating knowledge is a wonderful trait. :) There's a ... whaler's sort of CC PvP comp I've heard about that goes something like Granny/Thorin, Eironn (with weapon unlocked), Arden, Carolina, Cecia/Reinier. Not something for we ftpers, though. ^_^'

haha I sometimes use this comp but my cecia isn't leg yet so I don't use her as much as my other leg lved ups. And since I haven't gotten smokey yet I rely on hewynn. Whenever there's that annoying guy in the back I'd switch to vala as my main damage dealer replacing antandra with thoran.
Honestly that probably work fine i imagine? hewynn heals globally and vala is a mobile high mobile assassin, if i get vala I’ll give it a shot

I started 6 days ago (tomorow is the 7th login day) and my team is
Legendary Thoran
Legendary Cecia
Legendary Florabelle
Epic Smokey
Legendary Viperian
And till now I really like this team, AFK Stage is at 199 and the first two are already lvl 80 while the rest is on the way to 80 (one at 75 and the other two at 71)
Also Atandra is at Epic+ right now. Should I switch Viperian out for her?
Am I missing something? My Antandra gets immediately shredded. On afk stage 335, resonance 95, and she's legendary+
Substitute Rowan with Thoran and there yoh have your best team balanced in defense and offense. Your team is heavily defensive bu attack is weak.
If you want to go a more heavily attack route then go Thoran, tundra, smokey, ceicila and vapourian

Cecia is absurdly strong yeah, her summon can obliterate a whole team by itself
As an f2p learning the game slowly I am using some of these chars and it seems to work just fine Rowan Cecia and Antandra
I sadly only have Hewynn as a healer (literaly)
For now I've been using a lot Viperian his damage are just above the roof sometime for some reason
I sometime swap Rowan for Silvina to kill some pesky backlines, especialy ennemies Cecia as she reduce the energy even if she dies she delay Cecia's ultimate to keep my team alive.. Cecia is rezlly the biggest pain
Especialy as I nearly got Silvina at least once everytime I pulled so far, I got so many copies of her its insane she is stalking me so I decided it was worth taking the risk sometime and it proved to work very well
There is some pvp gamemode in which you buy chars and items to create a team you have to place 3 chars first and the rest is kept secret, I loved add her at the end to target and eliminate a specific backline in addition with either Vala or Igor to mess even more with backlines it worked flawlessly at taking out a strong dps(always Cecia) or healer even tho she is kinda fragile

I dont get it coco does damag red then after 12sec our character will get that damage back ?
So means in realm she cant be used ? As if our units get self true damage after her ult ends they will die automatically if not healed fast ?
It's based on the damage you receive, not deal.
Koko negates 45% (at lvl1) of the damage you take, so your characters only take 55% of damage during the 12 seconds, then after the time is up that 45% hits you at once.
So if a character has 1000 hp, if the enemy deals 1500 damage across the 12 seconds, you'll take 825 (55%) during the 12 seconds, and then receive the remaining 675 (45%) as true damage after. Unless they dealt enough damage to kill your character twice in the window, you wont die from the true damage

Reinier to steal Rowan instead of using Koko has worked well for me, but honestly I’m not sure yet lol
My current team: Florabelle, Brutus, Hewynn, Rowan, and Cecia.
And I didn't pay a dollar to become stronger.

In pve, i don’t find reinier useful to substitute in.
in pvp he’s been really strong for me, but I use an entirely different team with Reinier,eironn, Cecia Smokey and thoran

Im using the maulder core but then i run mythic+ eironn and mythicc ice goth queen and jesus its nutty. (I only bought monthlies i got stupidly lucky)
I just got Eironn to mythic+ last night with a lucky pull and he has been incredible when slotted in, love him so much
