If you don't have Brutus you need him unless you are spending guys. Brutus, Antandra, Smokey, Koko, Cecia absolutely stomps most afk stages on auto even 25 lvls above its insane.
I use igor, cecia, thoran , hewynn and anything that my team needs, igor is not a tank but he acts like my 2nd tank. It's fun watching enemy mess with him jumping arround and not dying while cecia is bursting em down

(It will probably be my only purchase unless they offer us more heroes for 99c.) Eironn has been on my wishlist since the beginning but I haven’t managed to pull a single copy of him. The only downside of choosing him from the selector is that it will probably take me forever to get 4 more copies 😔
Igor looks the coolest. That's good enough for me. I already have him, but I guess I can try to upgrade him further. I don't have Brutus, and he sounds cool for sure, but especially since you only need him once apparently, I'll leave that up to chance and just leave him on my wish list. I also sadly still lack Smokey, so your problem applies to me as well. Rowan I have fairly highly upgraded already and Eironn... let's just say I don't like elves, so I'll pass. XD
I’m getting Igor personally. I just feel like since I use Thoran as my main tank, I need Igor there to tank when Thoran is reviving himself. Plus I also have Cecia fairly high so I have damage output, and I have Carolina and Silvina to wreck the back line.
I got a bunch of Eironn copies from summons, pulled Rowan from the longer lasting login rewards and managed to get Brutus on a random summon I did (the 60/60 one). Only one I didn't have yet was Igor so I chose him, also because I got wrecked by people using him in Arena and Honor Duel lol. Now he's my currently strongest hero (directly followed by Eironn), he was also my first Mythic. I keep switching my setup (mostly for AFK stages to get the story going), but I mostly use Igor, Silvina (both Mythic) and Eironn (Legendary), currently accompanied by Berial (just pulled recently so only Epic) and Viperian (Legendary but possibly gonna switch him for someone else).
My build includes Brutus (or Kruger), Antandra, Smokey, Koko, and Florabelle. Florabelle is insane: not only does she deal a ton of damage with Enlightening Spell, but she also spawns three adds, and her ultimate inflicts severe damage and knocks back enemies. The crazy thing is that with her adds, there are eight NPCs on the battlefield. Not only do her minions continuously receive healing and buffs from Smokey and Koko, but can also become telegraph fodder during boss fights (typically, when they die, Belle quickly respawns them). The boss appears to make no distinction between heroes and Florabelle's minions. They provide a 37% protection chance against boss telegraphs (3 minions / 8 total NPCs).
Eironn's not the only mdef shredder in the game, however he by far has the highest shred. I've already pulled two copies of Brutus and Rowan, so it was between Eironn and Igor for me. I didn't Realize Igor is in the arena shop, so knowing that sinched Eironn for me too.

Because dupes would boost my already strong teams... but other characters would make my teams more viable and flexable...

I’ve spent 99 cents and I have 95% of the epic cast at red due to amazing luck I have all 4 of them at red anyways so I’m just grabbing whoever I need a dupe for red+
I chose Igor and I don't regret it one bit. He's usually the last one standing and many times won against multiple enemies. His and Viperian are the duo that rarely leaves my party. They are the most developed characters and their AoE and survivability is everything.
Same, countless times Igor survivability helped me to beat the match where all of my team died. He just jumped here and there and soloed the enemy team of 2 or 3.
For me, I still think I’m still picking up Brutus as the arena shop for me has better units to get like cecia, Hewynn, Rowan to get early. The immediate gain from him boosting your afk stages reward as high and early as possible to speed up gaining reward from leaderboard every where will benefit more than Eironn, where you don’t even know if you can even guarantee getting enough copies of him/ his team combo and still climb high on the pvp leaderboard that late into the game life span

You get an A tier character every day and every 7 days you get a random S tier hero who is then removed from the pool, so eventually you get all of them, even the Celestial/Hypo/Vala are there (I got Byron on as my first S hero from this)

I'm on my 5th day and I was angry for pulling Eironns from draws coz I was planning for Cecia core. Since I got my Eironn at Legendary+ now, I think I'm changing my lineup. 😂

anybody has tips for me who to pick? my main team so far is Vala (legendary), Lucius (epic+), Bryon (epic (swapped Cecia with him because it seems he has way more dmg)), Rowan (epic) and Hewynn (epic). i dont have Brutus at all, neither Smokey. so the reason i swapped Cecia with Bryon is because Rowan gives him energy, so his ult lasts much longer than usual and since he is on my team he the most damage dealer
Disagree bc over a long period of time, those guaranteed units will simply increase in power guaranteed. Non-guaranteed units should always be chosen over them in the long term. You don't wanna be a year or 2 down the line getting dupes of units you already have maxed, one of which you got from a selector

No Igor is so overpowered at the moment of course you need more copies of him but he’s such a strong pvp and even pve unit that can easily solo carry many fights
An as he said Enron is only really strong with more dupes so you also can consider Brutus for clearing afk stages because you only need one copy and if you don’t have any of the heroes ( like me I only pulled Rowan twice) he’s gonna be the best choice

No a different character had to be legendary for me to summon more of her to get her to mythic

In my opinion, BECAUSE he's not available in other places, Eironn is whale bait and not a good choice for a F2P account.

I am just playing at my own pace collecting wilder team now since the game loves giving me only wilders got 6 copy of deer girl with bow today,3 little girl copy with the big leaf as an umbrella,3 healer elf girl copy with flower in her hair,1 copy of the grandpa satyr goat with white beard and 1 copy of the owl hero yet to get that elf reindeer boy with two swords and grandma satyr goat with white hair

Hewynn needs rowan to function, smokey not so much but still benefits alot. So try to get rowam

Yup get eiron to mythic+ asap put Brutus on the both wishlists. Get 1 copy then take him off.

There is only 1 option Eiron , rowan is ok but you don't need too many dupes , the rest are just not good
No Igor is so overpowered at the moment of course you need more copies of him but he’s such a strong pvp and even pve unit that can easily solo carry many fights
An as he said Enron is only really strong with more dupes so you also can consider Brutus for clearing afk stages because you only need one copy and if you don’t have any of the heroes ( like me I only pulled Rowan twice) he’s gonna be the best choice
