Along with this, comes the COUNTLESS emotional, physical and psychological toll of all that is involved in doing so. She can now place that life to her breast and sustain that life FURTHER, with that of her own. This is the most amazing act in all of biology, yet you must now witness a man seeking medical assistance to lactate 😡This is likely seen as honoring, from such person's perspective, but since NONE of the preceding events took place, in order to _get_ to the place where lactation is a biological necessity... it is not honoring, it is a fetish. Fine, people can have such fetishes and truth be told, if they exist, and clearly they do, while I would prefer it remain private, there is something to be gained by learning that this is happening.

Yep I found that shocking too. I agree that these men threaten women on an individual level and women's safety in general, because they are not women and since now you can't really prove which type of trans woman a person is, now I don't think any trans women should be allowed in any single sex woman's space like changing rooms and lockers. I used to actually think trans women were women but now I would prefer society to just have 4 genders, women, men, trans women and trans men because men will never be women but maybe we could compromise and create the trans woman gender for legality. I have 3 trans women friends and they have also reached this conclusion since they mostly just want to be socially perceived as women, instead of convinced they are no different from actual women.

It's really obvious, as someone who has been a part of the LGBTQ community for decades, that there is a flood of autogynephiles entering our communities now that "gatekeeping" has been tossed aside. They have a tendency to try to take over groups because it feeds their fetish.
This sounds like a horrific affliction. I hope he finds peace. I really appreciate his honesty and vulnerability.
Let's be real. He made hundreds of horrible, morally wrong decisions that inched him down this path. He wasn't afflicted. He chose. That doesn't mean he doesn't deserve help now, but lets be clear that he not just a victim.

People with issues that can’t be resolved by a doctor need to stay away from healthcare. This is a huge problem currently. What can a doc do for this man? He hates himself. No med will fix that. He needs to work on himself, spend time with those that care about him, & get off the internet. Do everything you can to avoid talking and obsessing about the paraphernalia. It grows with every thought it’s given.

I'm more concerned about the violence towards and access to, women and girls -than l am about perpetrator "anguish". Make as many excuses as you like. Safety of women and children comes FIRST. If you can't manage to live in society without causing harm and distress to people then DON'T live in it.
If the transgender doesn't use a female changing room, uses a neutral bathroom or even a cross sex one with stalls floor to ceiling, and then sport teams are allowed to pick who plays on them, how is that interfering with your life? I think the mere fact that different people are out there bother you and you want someone like this locked away and I think that is where this will lead legislatively. Laws will be crafted so that psychologists legally have to out these people to authorities when only a thought crime has been committed. Psychologists won't be able to practice as patients won't be able to speak. You could take the same argument and chase gays out of the male bathroom and changing areas since there could be attraction and size differential which in the minds of many leads to predation. I think that's about where we'll be in five years. There's always folks doing nasty things and a bathroom that is a gay hangout will then become scrutinized and Boyce, Blaire, and Buck will bring on a crew of former homos who did such acts and it will then be seen as what gays normally do when that clearly is not the case. Maybe you could do that to the priests who actually did commit crimes or at least get them to leave their posts and do jail time.

I agree. Why are we all to be subjected to weird behaviour / participate in the paraphilia because the AGP "admits" that is what he is doing? The distress is real - but that is not the answer. There is such a thing as 'fake it until you make ii'. One way to stop being perverted is to stop BEHAVING in a perverted manner - regardless of inner feeling.

I say this w/compassion not judgment, imagine experiencing an adult male sex drive with the ego and emotional processing capability/ego orientation of a 3-4 year old. you want to BE the thing. you want to HAVE the thing. that part of you cannot be reasoned with, not because you won't but because you don't have the ability. You feel the deepest despairs and the highest highs. You don't have enough regulation to "overcome" things- you can work hard and try at a behavior but if you are too tired, too taxed in whatever way you will automatically regress. and the suicidality. storming into doctors offices expecting to dictate what will happen (even if he is right/justified in his knowledge) not expecting to have to adhere to any process or receive any input from professionals. There is a lack of insight or perhaps grandiosity that is not obvious because of the stark honesty. this makes me think paraphilias are developmental disorders/trauma. Great interview. I hope this person finds peace and I'd love to hear how they navigate it.
It might help to talk to Dr Robert Sapolsky who has researched studies ton this subject that have been done on men and women who went to their graves believing they were the opposite sex. Then at their post mortem, an anomaly was found to exist in their brain that was particularly to a person of the opposite sex. So organically, in their mind they believed themselves to be the opposite sex. Caveat: this is exceedingly rare but exists, in reality. These human beings are not, AGP’s.

You are pretty deep into thinking about this. Do you think being gay or lesbian (natal sex) is an auto-sexuality since one is the same sex that they are dating? How is it not?
@@DorianPaige00My two cents here is, that i'd expand on what the commenter said about paraphilias being developmental disorders or trauma. I don't think they are necessarily, they're two different things, but they definetly *can* be caused by developmental disorders/rauma, because both of thsoe things are excellent at causing mental illnesses, maladaptive coping mechanisms (for these two, i'm a good example lol), and i don't think it's a very far stretch to say that it can also cause paraphilias in some people.
Though obviously paraphilias develop in different ways too for different people. For some, they just kinda develop in adolescence, and for others even later on, with nothing traumatic or abnormal preceding that.
I haven't really thought that deeply about human sexual development since i'm more of a philosophy/logic autist rather than a sexuality autist, but yeah.
As to your question about gay and lesbian sexualities, i don't think they necessarily are auto-sexualities (if i'm understanding you correctly here. I'm assuming you mean a sexuality where attraction to external things/people is developed in some way through a person's view of themselves).
Now, again, these also *can* be that, but in my experience that's very rare (and from what i've read about those kinds of people, you can distinguish their experiences of paraphilic attraction very easily from the experiences of non-paraphilic attraction of heterosexuals or gays or lesbians.)
Most gay and lesbian people tend to be attracted to the same sex in the same ways that straight people are attracted to the opposite sex, just that instead of that sex being the opposite sex, it's the same sex instead. But the actual attraction tends to be very clearly attraction "to the other" (person), just by virtue of "the other" (person) being attractive, just like with standard heterosexuality. Just that the attraction happens to be to people of the same sex. (And not because it's the *same* sex, but because it's simply attractive to them. If that makes sense.)
For example, from my experience with talking w/ gay or bi male friends, they're attracted to the "maleness" and eg. a handsome beard, or strong arms, or feminine physique on a male (or "femaleness", and eg. a cute face, or thighs, or even a butch/non-traditionally feminine look for a female, in the case of lesbian or bi women) of people whom they find attractive, in the same way how straight guys (ie. me) are attracted to females, and how they might find thighs or long/short hair, or traditionally feminine/less traditionally feminine features of women attractive on women specifically.
Kind of a messy explanation, but what i'm trying to underline with those cumbersome examples is that individual preference also plays a big role in the kind of people and physical features that gay, bi or lesbian people are attracted to, and i'm pretty sure that for the vast majority, that works in the same way as how attraction to the opposite sex works for the average heterosexual person. The actual mental processes seem to be the same, just that the subjects of attraction are different between straight and gay/lesbian people.
Though of course various paraphilias break this mold, kind of by definition, but i think that the differences of paraphilic attraction vs non-paraphilic sexual attraction are relatively obvious and they can be identified clearly. And different people might of course have paraphilic and non-paraphilic attractions to the same thing, just that non-paraphilic attraction tends to come just as naturally to them as to any average heterosexual, whereas paraphilic attraction tends to be more obsessive or associated with other strange behaviors or mental processes whereas non-paraphilic attraction isn't.

This second interview here, even more self-exposing the despair and underlying psychiatric conditions in his case is not set to private anymore as a reaction out of principle. Whilst it was set to private for years to avoid conflict with this retransitioned and therefore narrative-changing and old own expressions negating individual and his wife.

Very heartbreaking and eye opening to those struggling on the sever end of AGP. Women are put in a difficult position in whether to seek any empathy for these men, or side with labelling them all as dangerous, disgusting, perverts, etc. for me, there is true suffering behind this. If you are self aware and do not want to infringe on women’s rights, I believe these men deserve help and compassion. What other solution is there? We need to have humanity.

Imagine 500 years ago, no woman or man shaved their body hair on a regular basis (with a few rare exceptions). What a brave person. I had a relationship with someone who was like this. I reckon it's more common but no one talks about it. I agree, it is wrong that you can't be treated for what you have, instead needing to tick the right boxes to gain that necessary treatment. Remember who you are in your core and that you're okay. Listening to you has helped me to understand my ex, who was unable to express it verbally. I don't think it's men like you who women don't want in their spaces, it's predators who are just using gender ideology to bully, power play and abuse.

Narcissism doesn'the seem to fit as much as border line, childhood sexual trauma, cptsd, paraphillia, developed via pornography, and severe iatrogenic harm.
The current treatment model and those so sure it is the only path, seem to have more of the characteristics of narcissism than james does.
Narcissists do not have the self awareness or empathy for others that James displays.

Can't even imagine the state of mind he has to be in. But I would HATE to believe that the only way to really help him would be medical castration. There have to be other ways, but the majority of medical professionals are simply not interested in the issue...
I really hope that he'll find something in experiences of other AGPs, hypno sissy victims and people like that, who went into remission, that can help him without such drastic measures...
P.S. Honestly, I wouldn't cross out trauma treatment yet. Trauma is usually not obvious. Porn is traumatizing as hell, for example...
I first read about medical castration years ago researching perpetrators of CSA. I was learning they often are *_not pedophiles_* - but I was also coming across studies identifying, and filling in gaps, in the criminal justice system generated data -with reporting from the mental health providers non-offending pedophiles who (are not ordered by any court but) voluntarily seeking help. It gives insight into their experiences, and their anguish. There are similarities in some of their coping/management efforts - to some of Jamie's. Hypervigilant avoidance of triggers makes sense - the difference, obviously, unlike Jamie - they're desperately avoiding children.
They're not the "creepy uncle" at holiday gatherings. They're never at those gatherings.
They're commonly desperately seeking medical castration.
Just to be clear - medical castration is not the same thing as surgical castration. I'm really glad Benjamin clarified at one point - he's talking about *_chemical_* castration when he's saying medical castration. This is the medication Lupron (prescribed for cancer ...and that the ignorant endocrinologist said was "only" for trans kids ugh).
Which is not to say Lupron is without side effects.
We prescribe pharmaceutical methamphetamine HCI for narcolepsy. Given the medication's negative side effect risks when weighed against the quality of life for narcolepsy patients (cost - benefit analysis) - this treatment is warranted.
It is for the same reason, that Jamie is "demanding" (chemical/medical castration) Lupron. It is a simple cost - benefit analysis.
It's denying the health benefit of Lupron medical castration treatment that's drastic, relative to the castration medication's potential side effect costs.

I have only seen 5 or six interviews on this channel, and it seems that every case is unique to that person, in the sense that none of the gender labels fits anyone in particular.
James was a very interesting guest, he is also intelligent and despite the many twists and turns he has navigated, he can recount them clearly.
What i admire about him is that he is keen to live his life as a good and decent person. We all have to suffer to get our hearts desire (which would be something much bigger than our own needs).
Anyway, i would like to venture this piece of advice; at the end of the day which of these labels James has doesnt really matter. I can see James is keen to get well quickly, so he is maybe running ahead of himself.
Now the following is speculation on my behalf, but i think underneath all of that James has anxiety. If i heard correctly, he was in the army and there became addicted to porn. This is an interesting detail as military combat is stressful, porn may have been some sort of attempt to sooth the harshness of military life.

Also I would say as a Christian that we are all made the way we are by God and he doesn't make mistakes, but God doesn't put us here to sit back and have an easy time, it's all about learning to live life through trial and error.

We don't and quite frankly could never. The reason being is the catastrophic abuse that would occur, via checks / balances removed. Nobody wants that 3rd party to be the arbiter of what is and is not acceptable, but were there NO such voice, the medical system would have nothing to answer for, in terms of its demands upon the industry. No system can possibly be financially responsible for the amount of payment that would become due, in such a scenario. There are certainly issues with any and ALL healthcare systems, but they are not so easily solved as to say... "just pay for it" and we will be a better society for it.

The only reason insurance works, is due to thousands of us paying into, but NOT claiming the benefits. This allows the small percent to have a $20K car replacement or $500K settlement, due to accident. If we tell insurance to cover all medical, car accidents or whatever by default, the system will collapse, because the amount of money going out will far exceed the amount coming in.

This is why socialized medicine is collapsing in Canada and UK, for example. There are lots of reasons why healthcare is expensive, but the free market is the way to improve it, not to have govt. regulate it.

I think the issue many have is done in public this now involves other people who many not even know they're participating in that person's sexual compulsion/addiction. I am a libertarian so while I wouldn't want AGP people to be banned from doing this it is as they've not initiated force it does encroach in to the arena of non con activity. I would request AGP or AAP people keep it at home out of respect though. It does make me feel uncomfortable if I haven't agreed to being part of a non contact sex act.

If liberty becomes the only value, then it becomes impossible to maintain a stable, decent society that anybody wants to live in. The right to free expression of any ideas, the right of free association, etc is a level of libertarianism that I can get behind. Libertarianism that insists that we can’t have some collective standards and values that are enforced, at different times culturally/socially and in other ways legally, is impractical and unworkable, given human nature and limitation.

I would be interested to know how this guest is doing nowadays. Having watched this episode I sought out this information online. I found what is in my opinion a very biased article dated March of 23 by an author who ostensibly recounted a phone call with this guest ,but which in my opinion twisted the information they obtained in that phone call to fit their own narrative.
I hope Elisa/ Jamie/ James / Lisa has not desisted from the point of view in this podcast, as I feel it was very honest and very heartfelt. It was very distressing to watch at times, as like Benjamin expressed the pain and level of deep distress was very evident ; I am hoping that expressing that and confronting it head on may have helped in some way and that they are doing ok. Far from being crazy or anti-trans as some are portraying him/ her ,I see them as struggling with the reality of their condition and not presenting it as something other than what it genuinely is.

I'm a transexual woman. I feel so sorry for this man. Its time the medical field makes a distinction is made between men with AGP and actual transgender women. Hormone Results Therapy will not relieve their symptoms. These are two separate mental health afflictions which requires different treatment.
I never had any sexual connection to being a woman. I just had extreme discomfort living as a man. I lived as a man until the age of 39. My gender dysphoria started giving me extreme side effects at 23. I had extreme depression, anxiety attacks, suicidal thoughts and extreme anger. After transitioning ALL those symptoms went away. But that's because I AM transgender with gender dysphoria.
We are noticing all these people are being allowed to transition, but they dont get any better like I did. They are still suffering and unhappy. I hope we can sort this crisis out sooner than later, but I don't think big pharma will allow that to happen.
The majority of the global population of trans identifying males fall into the category of AGP type transvestism/transexualism. The gender dysphoria they experience is no less distressing for those with AGP than HSTS.

I've been listening to this discussion around autogynephilia and transgenderism. I do believe they are two separate disorders although like many mental and behavioral health conditions there are overlaps. Like if you feel excited by women's panties you might be confused and think you are trans. And if you identify as a woman then you would want to feel sexy as a woman. It's the chicken and the egg thing. This person sounds very clear about what their condition is. I wish them the best. I still believe real trans people exist albeit the gynephiliacs have appropriated the trans identity and hijacked normal trans people's ability to be taken seriously. This whole situation is so sad.
Some MDs experienced in this field see two groups. One is young, describe themselves as effeminate, attracted to men and desiring transition at a young age.
